Chapter 1 THE FIRST TIME I KNEW
It was just an ordinary day like everyday.The same routine, same schedule.The sun rose, the weather which felt little different from other days.
Ira woke up to mother's voice calling from downstairs.
"Get up my girl, its already late". It was 6:15AM, and she had to get ready by 6:45AM.
Still half-asleep, Ira pulled the blanket over her head, hoping her mother would call again after a few minutes. But the voice came again, louder this time.
With a tired sigh, she finally got out of bed.
She quickly got ready in her school uniform, tied her hair, picked up her school bag, and hurried downstairs. After having breakfast, Ira stepped outside and waited for her school vehicle.
She stood by the roadside, watching the vehicles pass by one after another.Then, a school vehicle passed in front of her.
Without much thought, Ira glanced toward its windows...
Through the window, among unfamiliar faces, she saw him.
Just a stranger.
Yet for a fleeting moment, their eyes met...And there he was, sitting by the window.There was something calm about his face. Nothing particularly striking at first glance, yet Ira found herself looking at him a second longer than she meant to.
He looked young, quiet, and completely unaware that someone outside the bus had noticed him
The bus slowly disappeared down the road.
A few moments later, Ira's school vehicle arrived. She got in, took her usual seat, and watched the familiar streets pass by through the window.
She didn't know his name.
She didn't know which school he belonged to.
He was just a stranger she had happened to notice on an ordinary morning.
Soon, the thought faded as Ira turned her attention to the road ahead.
She was on her way to school, completely unaware that the boy from the passing bus would soon become a "part of her everyday life."
And that was where it all began.....
