Chapter 1
it was a rainy day and I forgot my umbrella... again when my best friend Jack came up to me
"forgot your umbrella again Ann?" he said to me
I have the biggest crush on him but I've never said anything afraid to ruin our relationship.
"yeah" I responded sadly
"here take mine" he offered
"o...ok" I responded so flustered I had to look away, my heart was pounding so hard I was so sure he could hear it.
I walked with him home because we lived across the street from each other. when I got home I put the umbrella in my bag and sprayed some of my long lasting perfume on it to see if he would notice then went to bed.
the next day at school I gave it back and he smelled it and smiled. it was then when I gathered the courage to confess
" I like you... a lot. as in I like you more than a friend" I said a little sheepishly.
"me too" he responded his face red.
"so its official now...we are dating'' i said with uncertainty in my voice
After I said that he nodded and kissed me. It felt amazing.
