Why I'm Doing This
Despite the fact that the internet and social media has enabled us able to connect with anyone we want, even if they are across the planet, why is it that people seem more alone than ever before?
All the social connections we want in the palm of our hands, yet no one to actually hold our hand. (With interlocking fingers of course).
Loneliness is more common than ever these days. In particular to women it can be debilitating.
But the cure is knowing that there's others that care about you. Knowing that they are thinking about you. People that want what's best for you.
So I am writing daily letters to the princesses of the world, that they may know that there's at least one friend out there that is thinking about them and cares about them.
Despite the fact the they are princesses, they still experience the same emotions that the rest of us do. They are no different, they share the same highs and the same lows.
I don't know what their life is like, I don't know what they're going through. But I imagine it's a lot of responsibility, stress, and perhaps even some loneliness and isolation mixed in there.
So I am writing these letters just in case they are feeling alone, sad, or isolated. So that they no longer feel those negative emotions, that they may feel happy, fun, and appreciated.
That perhaps they may come to learn about this and even read these daily messages. That they may know they have a friend out there in the world, thinking about them and writing to them.
At the very least it will be published publically here so that other women (and men as well if you want) may read them. Perhaps it will cure their loneliness as well.
Each letter is a stand alone work so feel free to start reading from the latest day, or pick your favorite princess and start there. This is not written linearly. Good job and thanks!
