Chapter 1

Hazel walked round the small apartment she shared with her sister; her only family whom died a week ago.

Memories flowed in as she entered her sister's room. They used to gist about their school, work and always talking about their innocent mom who had lost her life about five years ago.

Hazel broke down to tears as she dropped on the bed.

"Harper! Harper I miss you so much... how do I live now?" she mourned. as she curled up.

A WEEK AFTER.

Hazel returned from her part time job late in the evening. She was about to open the door when she saw a mail slightly slid under her door. She pulled it out and opened it.

" dance audition scholarship? and ELITE high? Harper's heart thief is there" she read out and read the rest of the letter

* who could have dropped this here?* she thought and checked but there was no sender so she entered.

Ryan lay on his back in his bed as he thought deeply, placing his hand on his chest.

"who could have owned this heart?" he thought aloud and his brother; Ayden entered, interrupting his thoughts.

"hey" he greeted and sat beside him

"not packing for school?" Ayden added and Ryan sat up.

"I already packed." he replied and hopped down his bed.

"hmm, she's gonna come too right?" Ayden asked and Ryan blushed then tilted his head.

" I don't know but I really hope so. It's been long I spoke to her now, always unavailable." he said

" she must be preparing for school" Ayden said and stood up.

" I pray so" Ryan said and entered the closet.

Hazel walked straight to the hall where the dance audition was being held. She wrote down her info and went straight to the lavatory 'cause she was nervous. She bumped into someone who caught her by her waist. Ryan stared at the beauty in his hands but she stood properly, waiting for him to release her.

"I'm...so...rry for bumping into you" she stammered as she removed his hand from her waist. His hand unleashed the warmth she needed for her cold skin.

"Ryan" Dylan; his friend called and he quickly took his eyes off Hazel then walked away. Ryan turned back to look at her and a smile lit on his face as he watched her ass as she entered the lavatory.

" who's she?" Dylan asked

" I don't know her... but she looks familiar" Ryan said with a smile

" hmm Ryan, is she the next?" Wyatt asked as they walked back to class while he kept looking back to check if she was coming but she wasn't.

"it's not like that but I kinda wish she resumes"

" you're finally making sense" Wyatt said

"it's love at first sight" Dylan added

"hi, are you here for the audition?" an ELITE HIGH student asked

"yes I am" Hazel replied
