The Weakest Girl in the Academy
The world of Elyndra was ruled by magic.
Every person was born with a magical core, and on their fifteenth birthday, they awakened a unique Origin Skill.
Some awakened flames.
Some awakened lightning.
Some could summon spirits, control monsters, or manipulate space itself.
And then there was Luigi.
She stood alone beneath the enormous crystal suspended above the Awakening Hall.
Her long silver hair fell over her shoulders, and her violet eyes stared calmly at the glowing crystal.
Around her, hundreds of students whispered.
"That's the girl from the northern village."
"I heard her magical power is almost zero."
"She's probably going to awaken some useless skill."
Luigi heard everything.
She simply smiled.
The crystal suddenly flashed.

A giant magical screen appeared.
Everyone waited.
Then the words appeared.

The hall became silent.
The examiner frowned.
"Unknown?"
He touched the crystal again.
Nothing happened.
"Luigi," he said carefully, "try casting a basic spell."
Luigi raised her hand.
"Okay."
She whispered:
"Fire."
A tiny flame appeared above her finger.
It flickered once.
Then disappeared.
The students burst into laughter.
"That's it?"
"Even a child can do better!"
"She's completely useless!"
Luigi lowered her hand.
She smiled quietly.
"Looks like I really am weak."
The examiner recorded her result.

Luigi walked away.
But nobody noticed something.
As she left the hall, the crystal behind her began to crack.
A thin black line appeared across its surface.
Then another.
And another.
Deep inside the crystal, something ancient awakened.
A voice whispered through the hall.
"The sealed bloodline has returned."
Nobody heard it.
Except Luigi.
She stopped walking.
Her violet eyes widened.
"Who said that?"
No answer came.
Then a translucent window appeared before her.

Luigi stared at the message.
Another appeared.

Luigi's expression became serious.
"So... I'm not actually weak."
A small smile appeared on her face.

Luigi entered the Royal Arcane Academy as an ordinary-looking eighteen-year-old girl.
She deliberately kept her magical power suppressed.
To everyone else, she was simply a quiet F-rank student.
She wore the academy's black uniform and carried an old wooden staff.
During combat training, she intentionally lost.
During magic lessons, she used beginner spells.
During examinations, she always placed near the bottom.
There was only one person who seemed suspicious.
Prince Kael Ardent.
He was the academy's most talented swordsman.
Unlike the other students, Kael didn't laugh when Luigi failed.
He watched her.
Always.
One afternoon, Luigi was sitting beneath a giant tree reading a spellbook when Kael approached.
"You're hiding something."
Luigi didn't look up.
"Am I?"
"Yes."
"What?"
"Your eyes."
Luigi finally looked at him.
Kael continued.
"Someone who is truly weak doesn't look at the world like you do."
For the first time, Luigi became nervous.
"You've been watching me?"
Kael smiled.
"Perhaps."
Luigi closed her book.
"That's creepy."
He laughed.
"And you're difficult."
She smiled.
"Maybe we're both strange."
For a moment, neither spoke.
A gentle breeze moved through the trees.
Kael looked away.
His ears had turned slightly red.
Luigi noticed.
"Are you embarrassed?"
"No."
"You are."
"I'm not."
"You definitely are."
Kael sighed.
"You enjoy teasing people."
"Only you."
The moment the words left her mouth, Luigi froze.
Kael froze too.
They stared at each other.
Then Luigi quickly turned away.
"I-I meant because you're annoying!"
Kael smiled.
"Of course."
But neither of them noticed the shadow watching them from the forest.
Two crimson eyes opened.
A monstrous voice whispered:
"Found her."

That night, the academy's emergency bell rang.

DONG!
Students rushed from their dormitories.
Monsters had appeared outside the academy barrier.
Hundreds of them.
Teachers immediately began constructing defensive formations.
Luigi stood among the students.
Kael drew his sword.
"Stay behind me."
Luigi looked at him.
"I can fight."
"I know."
"Then why are you telling me to stay behind you?"
"Because I don't want you getting hurt."
Luigi's expression softened.
"Kael..."
Suddenly—
BOOM!
The barrier shattered.
A gigantic creature entered the academy grounds.
It possessed six arms, black scales, and golden eyes.
The teachers attacked.
Fire.
Lightning.
Ice.
Thousands of magical arrows filled the sky.
The creature simply raised one hand.
Everything disappeared.
The students screamed.
Kael stepped forward.
"Luigi, run."
She looked at the monster.
Then at Kael.
Something inside her awakened.
Her magical core began to glow.
[Extreme danger detected.]
[Evolution condition fulfilled.]
[Beginning first evolution.]
Luigi's eyes changed.
Her violet pupils became silver.
Her hair began floating around her.
The ground beneath her cracked.
Kael turned around.
"Luigi?"
She whispered:
"I've been hiding for a long time."
The monster charged.
Luigi raised one hand.
The creature suddenly stopped.
An invisible force crushed the ground beneath its feet.
Everyone stared.
The teachers couldn't move.
Kael's eyes widened.
Luigi's voice became calm.
"Maybe..."
A black-and-silver aura surrounded her.
"...I don't have to hide anymore."

The monster roared.
Luigi smiled.
"Your turn."
She disappeared.
The next moment, she stood behind the monster.
She tapped its shoulder.
"Good night."
A flash of silver light filled the academy.
The monster vanished.
Silence.
Hundreds of students stared at Luigi.
Kael slowly lowered his sword.
"Who... are you?"
Luigi looked at him.
For once, she didn't hide her power.
She smiled.
"My name is Luigi."
Then she looked toward the dark sky.
"And apparently..."
A mysterious symbol appeared above her.
"...I'm something this world was never supposed to create."
Far away, inside an ancient castle, an unknown woman opened her eyes.
"The Evolutionary has awakened."
She smiled.
"Then the war can finally begin."
