The moon stood high in the night sky.

It was New Year's Eve.

Fireworks danced across the sky as music played in the background. The streets were filled with laughter, cheers, and people celebrating the beginning of another year.

But among the crowd stood Kang Na-ri.

She stared at the fireworks, her eyes blank.

There was no excitement in them.

No smile on her face.

Slowly, her gaze drifted toward the moon. For a brief moment, something that almost resembled a smile touched her lips.

Then she turned and walked away.

She headed toward a nearby shrine, leaving the noise of the celebration behind her.

Na-ri reached into her bag and pulled out a pen and a small piece of paper. She wrote something on it, folded the paper, and slipped it through the small doors of the shrine.

She stood there silently for a moment before letting out a quiet breath.

Na-ri: “I want to experience real love.”

She turned around and began walking away.

Her steps were slow and sluggish as she moved farther from the crowds and the fireworks.

Soon, the noise of the celebration faded behind her.

Na-ri stopped at the side of the road and raised her hand, stopping a taxi.

She climbed inside.

The taxi slowly drove away, carrying her into the quiet night.

The fireworks continued to light up the sky behind her.

But Na-ri didn't look back.
