Chapter 0- THE UNKNOWN NIGHT

The rain poured heavily over the isolated mansion.

Thunder rumbled across the dark sky as flashes of lightning illuminated the empty driveway. Inside, the mansion was unusually quiet, with only the sound of rain tapping against the windows.

In one of the bedrooms, an unconscious figure lay on the bed.

A man stood nearby, his expression tense and unhappy. He glanced at the person on the bed before looking toward the door. He had been waiting for a while, and he was clearly not pleased with the situation.

Finally, the sound of an approaching car broke the silence.

He immediately walked toward the entrance.

The front door opened.

A tall man stepped inside, carrying an unconscious person beneath his dark coat. Rainwater dripped onto the polished floor, and a Golden Stitch pendant caught the light briefly.

Despite the rain, the newcomer seemed remarkably relaxed.

The waiting man's expression darkened the moment he saw him.

"You're finally here."

The pendant guy smiled faintly.

"Missed me?"

"Don't joke with me."

His voice was cold.

The waiting man looked at the unconscious person in his arms, then turned his furious gaze back toward him.

"Are you even aware of what you've done?"

"I know exactly what I've done."

"And you're proud of it?"

The pendant guy said nothing for a moment. Then he gave a faint, unbothered smile.

"Let's not waste time arguing."

The waiting man clenched his jaw. He clearly had more to say, but instead, he stepped forward and took the unconscious person into his arms.

"One day, you'll regret this."

"Perhaps."

The answer only made the waiting man angrier.

He turned toward the entrance without another word and walked out into the storm.

The pendant guy watched him leave, seemingly unaffected by his anger.

A moment later, the car engine started. Through the window, he watched the vehicle disappear into the rain.

Then he turned around and returned to the bedroom.

The other unconscious figure was still lying motionless on the bed.

He approached and looked down at them. His gaze softened slightly, but there was no sign of regret in his eyes.

Suddenly, his phone began to vibrate in his pocket.

He answered without hesitation.

"Yes?"

A deep, composed voice came from the other end.

"Is everything taken care of?"

"Of course."

"What about him? Has he left?"

"Just now. He wasn't happy about it."

"I expected as much," the caller replied with a quiet sigh.

"Then why worry about it?"

"Because someone has to think about the consequences when you refuse to." The caller's tone grew serious. "You can't force someone to accept you just because you've got what you wanted."

The pendant guy's smile faded slightly.

"I'll handle it."

"And your father?" the caller continued. "Do you think you can keep this from him forever? He trusts you, and he has high expectations for your future. He doesn't deserve to discover everything from someone else."

"That's exactly why he doesn't need to know yet," the man replied smoothly. "He would only interfere."

A brief silence followed.

Then the caller's voice dropped, becoming noticeably more anxious.

"There's something else. Please... don't tell your father that I was involved in this."

The pendant guy raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk returning to his face.

"You're worried about that now?"

"Of course I am! I've known your father for years. If he finds out I helped you pull this off, he'll never forgive me."

"You chose to help me."

"I know, but I never expected you to take it this far! Please, keep my involvement a secret. Your father mustn't know I had anything to do with this."

The man glanced down at the Golden Stitch pendant resting against his chest.

"Relax. I won't tell him."

"Promise me."

"You have my word."

The caller released a long, nervous breath.

"Good. Just... think about what you're doing. You can't force someone to love you."

The man's gaze returned to the unconscious figure on the bed.

"I'm not letting go."

"That isn't the same as being loved."

His expression remained calm and unshakable.

"We'll see."

The caller fell silent before speaking one last time.

"Just remember that your actions will eventually catch up with you."

"I'll deal with it when they do."

The call ended with a quiet click.

For a few moments, the man stood by the window, watching the rain beat against the glass.

Then he turned back toward the bed.

Everything was finally moving in the direction he wanted.

He approached the motionless figure and gently brushed a stray lock of hair away from their forehead.

A faint, victorious smile returned to his face.

Outside, thunder shook the night sky.

And the mansion remained silent, holding secrets that could change everything.
