Chapter 1: Her Birth
Carla never imagined her life would get tangled with Heaven. She was just a normal girl who liked quiet mornings and warm tea….....
until Michael appeared in her life like a piece of the sun had fallen from the sky.
The first time she met him, she didn’t even know he was an archangel. All she saw was a strangely calm man with eyes that felt too kind, and too dangerous to be human.
They weren’t supposed to fall for each other. Carla understood that from the beginning. Michael reminded her every time their conversations drifted too close.
“Carla,” he would say, “you know this is forbidden.”
And she always whispered the same thing back.
“I know. But I still want you here.”
Their love grew day by day, days turned into weeks, weeks to months, and then years...… until it became impossible to hide.
The day Carla found out she was pregnant, she sat on the edge of the bed trembling, her hand over her stomach. Michael knelt in front of her, shock written all over his face.
“A child…” His voice cracked.
Angels didn’t cry, but his eyes looked like they wanted to.
She nodded in affirmation. “Michael, I’m scared.”
“You should be,” he whispered. Not harshly tho,
Just honestly.
“Every realm will come for this baby. Heaven… Hell… and everything in between.”
He then held her, his hands warm, wings folding around her like a shield.
“I won’t let anything happen to you,” he promised.
She looked into his eyes like she was gonna bore a hole there then retracted her gaze to her belly.
He smiled
“Or to her.”
ʙᴜᴛ ᴘʀᴏᴍɪsᴇs ᴅɪᴅɴ'ᴛ sᴛᴏᴘ ᴇɴᴇᴍɪᴇs.....
From that moment, Carla was hunted. She didn’t know who or what was after her. Shadows followed her. Whispers echoing in her ears her at night.
Doors slammed without wind. Animals ran from her.
Even the air around her felt heavy.
Sometimes Michael appeared to protect her, but even he couldn’t stay too long. Heaven was watching him.
The whole period was torture for both of parents but they didn't give up!
It was not just an ordinary pregnancy it was a soul born of forbidden light.
✦✦✦✦ 12 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐨𝐧 ✦✦✦✦
12 months of divine pregnancy and visible torture for Carla was almost coming to an end......
The night sky trembled as if it could sense what was coming.
Archangel Michael moved silently through the forest, his wings hidden.
Every sound felt sharper tonight–
The rustling leaves,
The distant howl of a dark creature,
The frantic heartbeat of the one he loved.
𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒂.
She pressed her back against a tree. One hand on her swollen belly, breathing hard.
Sweat clung to her skin despite the cold wind.
“Michael… they’re close again,” her voice barely a whisper.
While she trembled not out of fear but exhaustion.
Michael stepped in front of her, clenching his fist
“I won’t let them touch you. Not while I still breathe.”
Lightning flashed.
Carla flinched.
Michael’s eyes glinted in the dull night, a sharp glow of angelic fire beneath his human disguise.
The forces hunting them had grown bolder.
Hell wanted the unborn child destroyed.
Heaven wanted the pregnancy erased.
Even the earthly spirits whispered warnings as they passed.
𝙽𝚘 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚖 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚎𝚡𝚒𝚜𝚝.
A child of forbidden union.
A child of forbidden light.
Carla’s breath hitched as another contraction tore through her. She gripped the bark behind her and cried out.
Michael held her by the shoulders.
“Carla! Look at me."
She shifted her gaze ignoring the intense pain.
"You have to keep moving.”
“I… can’t.” Her voice cracked.
“You must,” he said softly.
“They are nearly here.”
And with that,
The forest went unnaturally quiet.
Too quiet.
A sign the enemies had entered the trees.
Carla forced her legs to move. Michael supported her, guiding her toward the only safe place he could think of,
𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝚛𝚞𝚒𝚗𝚜 𝚑𝚎'𝚍 𝚜𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚕𝚒𝚎𝚛.
A forgotten temple swallowed by vines, they stumbled through a stone doorway with a semilunar shaped top.
The moment they crossed the entrance, a faint blue glow unleash rapidly across the walls, as if the ancient magic sensed something sacred entering its domain.
Carla gasped as her legs gave in.
“Michael!”
He caught her before she hit the floor.
“Carla, stay with me. Just a little longer.”
Her fingers dug into his arm. “It's happening. I… I can feel her coming.”
Lightning flared outside.
The creatures were close.
Michael carried her deeper into the temple.
The dome above them gleamed faintly, moonlight penetrating through the broken ceiling. Dust adorned the air like falling stars.
Carla screamed as another contraction ripped through her.
Michael knelt beside her, his voice breaking despite all his centuries of control.
“I’m here. I’m right here.” he assured her
Her tears mixed with the dirt on her cheeks.
“I’m sorry… Michael, I’m so sorry I dragged you into this.”
“No,” he whispered, brushing her hair away.
“You saved me.” he said as he pats her cheek
She grits her teeth, in as she clenches her fists in pain.
“What kind of angel falls in love with a mortal woman?” she said in shaky breath.
“The kind who would do it again,”
he said, leaning closer. “Without hesitation.”
Her body tensed. “Michael! She’s coming...” she cried out
He held her hand, guiding her through every wave of pain.
Outside, shadows slid between the trees, their growls echoing through the night.
But inside the temple, something ancient awakened.
Glowing brighter beneath Carla, a protective ward activated by the presence of the child.
Michael felt the power rise and swallowed hard.
“Carla… she’s fighting for her own birth.”
Carla screamed loud enough to shake the enemies.
Her body arched, and Michael saw the crown of a tiny head.
“It’s okay! Push, Carla...push!”
Her fingers clutched his robe, her knuckles white.
She cried, sweat dripping down her face, and with one final, piercing scream...
A newborn cry filled the temple.
A cry that silenced the forest.
A cry that echoed across realms.
Michael looked down at the child in his hands-
A baby girl
Pure. Innocent. Radiant.
Yet dangerous to all three realms.
Carla sobbed softly.
“Is she… is she okay?”
Michael smiled, but it was the saddest smile he had ever worn.
“She’s perfect.”
He laid the child on Carla’s chest. Carla held her close, her tears falling onto the child’s glowing skin.
“What should we name her?” she whispered.
Michael touched the baby’s tiny hand. She curled her fingers around his.
“Diva,” he breathed. “She is light itself.”
He cupped Carla’s face, kissed her gently, then looked down at their daughter.
“Forbidden light,” he murmured. “And still… she is perfect.”
But the peace didn’t last.
A sudden pulse of energy rippled through the air....
Heaven’s warning.
Michael’s head snapped up, wings stiffening. “They know she’s born.” he whispered
Carla’s eyes widened. “What does that mean?”
“It means I have to go,” he said, his voice breaking.
“If I stay, they’ll come for her… they’ll come for you!.”
“Michael....”
He kissed her forehead, lingering there as if trying to memorize her breath. Then he kissed his daughter’s tiny head.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered. “I’m so sorry.” he said as tears circulated his eyes.
He placed his hand on Carla's head and begin to chant...
he ended with "Henceforth, you cease to have any memory of me, Go and leave a normal life with our daughter"...... He paused and continued
"Your daughter "...
She fell into a deep sleep
While Diva cried even more as if sensing the situation...
