Chapter 1
His View
She was out celebrating something; I’m not sure what it was. I watched as her friends bought her drink after drink throughout the night. Her stature getting more and more unsure of itself as the alcohol took hold of her.
It didn’t look like she spent much time drinking. She surely didn’t look like she could hold her liquor very well.
I was just going to watch from afar. No intention of talking to her. I couldn’t risk it. There was too much going on in my life and the last thing I needed was a picture of me out with a young thing like her.
My jaw clenched when some frat boy pulled her away from her friends to dance. His hands moved quickly to the roundness of her ass, but she pulled them up to her waist. She smiled at him though, there was a desire in her eyes.
My eyes stayed glued to her body as she moved against him. She was small compared to his big football stature. Her petite waist cinched tight by a belt over what looked like a men’s button-up dress shirt. I had never seen a dress shirt look so enticing.
Three buttons were opened on the top and exposed the fringe of a white lace bra. Her voluptuous breasts just begged for attention and oh was the frat boy giving her the attention she desired. His eyes hardly looked at her and instead spent their time glaring at the mounds as she danced around.
The alcohol had given her the freedom to move around the dance floor without inhibition. It was a delight to see. Except she did so with the meat-head football star instead of someone experienced like myself, that was the downfall of the moment.
But I couldn’t be seen out with some young college girl on my week home from D.C., the press would have a field day with that picture. Oh, yes, I had made my fair share of mistakes when it came to women. I had been pictured with a married woman, a fellow Senator, and even a hot young actress. I couldn’t make those mistakes anymore. I had a plan to stick to and a woman like her would surely distract me from my political goals.
I needed to find a woman that I could date and she would help the people feel more confident in me. Yes she had to be beautiful, but she also had to be politically minded enough to see the end game. In politics that might mean seeing five or even ten years down the road.
Her ass.
That damn ass kept teasing as she moved around to the music.
The dress shirt was short. So fucking short that every now and then I could see her ass cheek as it peeked out from under it. She either didn’t have panties on at all, or they were tiny g-string panties that barely covered her important parts.
Why the hell was she dancing with such an inexperienced kid?
A woman like her needed a man, not a boy.
His hands groped her like a plaything and she just let him. Her face was flush from the alcohol and I watched as she looked around for her friends. They were gone. Some kind of friends she had. They had just left her dancing with a strange guy.
As her football dance partner continue to grab and grope her, my delicious sweet assed girl finally got tired of him and pushed him away. Good girl I thought to myself. You don’t need to settle for a jerk like that. She didn’t need to settle for anyone. I hated to see young women so willing to give themselves to jerks. Even though I sometimes was that jerk they gave themselves to. I had the knowledge to treat them right and the wisdom they needed. It was never a loss if they spent the night with me.
Finally, she had some sense.
I watched as she looked around the club for her friends some more. She finally found a couple of them near the bar. They hugged and seemed to be congratulating her, but she didn’t stay long. As she made her way out of the club to the street, I followed her. She looked so innocent, so lost, so out of place for downtown Chicago.
She shouldn’t have been walking around in that area in that outfit. It was dangerous.
Her View
I landed my dream job. It was quite the celebratory night with my friends. We went to dinner after work and then out to the club. My friends from the bookstore were insanely awesome.
It took four years of college and finally landing my dream job before I ever loosened up on a night out with them. It was worth celebrating, though; I had just heard I got the position with Senator Storm’s office in Washington D.C.
A job in Washington right out of college was insane. No one got that! But I did. My perfect grades, charity work and involvement in the college had won me the interview. I almost threw up before my Skype call with Phillip Warren the week before.
Phillip was the Chief of Staff for Senator Storm and pretty much my only way into the job. Luckily for me the stars aligned and Phillip liked me and my work ethic. He seemed amused that I had two part-time jobs, went to school full-time and still found time for my charity work. I didn’t go into how crappy my life would be if I didn’t work so damn hard. Working hard was my only outlet.
Yes, I had danced with George. He was the fucking star of our football team. A guy like that just didn’t go after a girl like me very often; I had to take advantage of the moment. The alcohol had given me the courage to say yes. I definitely would have been too shy if I hadn’t spent the previous five hours drinking.
As I moved around the dance floor with him, I quickly realized the only thing he had going for him was his muscles. My four years of desire to be wanted by a guy like him quickly faded as he opened his mouth. Nothing but stupidity came out. ‘Hey girl, you’re fine,’ he had said. There was no originality, no actual interest in me. I suspected he would have fucked any girl who willingly lifted her skirt for him. That wasn’t my type of guy.
My body wasn’t used to the amount of alcohol I had consumed. When I realized many of my friends had made their way out of the club, it was time for me to head home too. I needed to get packed for my trip to Washington D.C.
I gave some hugs to the last few friends I saw and then headed out front to grab a cab back to my dorm room. A night of partying wasn’t really my thing and all I could think about was how great my bed would feel when my head hit my pillow.
Finding a cab in downtown Chicago usually wasn’t an issue. They were everywhere; except that night.
I stood out front for a minute and then gave up pretty quickly and decided to just take the subway. It wasn’t my favorite mode of transportation, especially when I was dressed up in heels and looking good. But the Chicago subway was safer than most people thought. My second job was as a hostess at a restaurant downtown and sometimes I didn’t get off work until after midnight; I had never had an issue taking the subway home.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to figure out where the nearest subway entrance was. I walked three blocks over to where I thought it was and there was nothing there. Admittedly, the alcohol had probably messed with my brain and made it hard for me to remember my normal route to and from the subway.
I decided to sit in front of a store for just a minute while I tried to get my bearings as to which way the subway was. Then I remembered my friends had rented a room downtown for us to crash at. Damn, I must have been really drunk because I had totally forgotten. But for the life of me I couldn’t think of the name of the hotel. I did remember that it was near the shopping center on the other side of the club, though.
My eyes were so tired and my feet also. I needed to rest my feet for just a moment before I walked back the other way toward the hotel.
Out of the corner of my vision, a rough looking guy walked toward me. My instinct was to get up and walk away quickly, but the pain in my feet from my four-inch heels made the only option to just sit there. I hoped he wouldn’t bother me and would just keep on walking by.
I wasn’t so lucky.
“Well aren’t you a sweet piece of ass,” the man said as he sat next to me on the bench.
Running away didn’t seem like an option, but he was obviously drunk; so I thought he probably wasn’t that dangerous. Drunk guys were typical in the downtown area and I had plenty of experience brushing them off. I wasn’t afraid of him, at least at first. He seemed like a normal guy who had just drank a little too much.
“I’m just heading back that way,” I said as I stood up. “Have a good night.”
The pain in my feet was horrendous, but I stood up and started to walk away.
His hand grabbed onto my wrist and held it tight; so tight that I got scared. He was at least six feet tall and could easily out muscle me. I looked around quickly and didn’t see anyone I could call out for help from. Panic rushed through my body.
I had made it four years in college without being assaulted, I wasn’t about to let this guy try it. I was only a few days away from flying to Washington D.C. for my dream job.
“Let go,” I said firmly.
“Oh baby, but your pussy is calling my name,” he said as his hand slipped between my thighs.
“No!”
“Come on now. I’ll give you more pleasure than you could ever imagine,” he said and I watched as his other hand started to unbutton his pants.
I reached with both of my hands and tried to get free from him, but he had tightened his grip. For the first time ever, I was terrified. I couldn’t see a way out of the situation and I prepared myself to fight like hell.
“Sweetheart, there you are; I’ve been looking everywhere for you,” an incredibly sexy man said as he put his arm around me.
I stood motionless and just stared at him. I had no idea who the hell he was but I was so grateful he had shown up.
The rough looking thug quickly let go of my arm and stood up. His pants were half unbuttoned but with a quick glance at the man next to me the thug decided he should take off.
Relief flooded me and I felt my knees get weak.
“Let’s sit,” the man said as he helped me over to the bench.
“Oh my gosh, thank you,” I said as my hands shook. “I didn’t know what I was going to do.”
He was built like a God. The kind that was muscular beyond what any regular human should have. I felt the firm toned body he had under his t-shirt as I sat down. His eyes were dark, a deep brown I guessed, but the dark night made it impossible to see. I had never been so close to a man that was so obviously handsome. It left me speechless.
The fear of the moment still rushed through my body. I could feel the adrenaline and I suddenly didn’t feel drunk at all, although I could tell I probably still was.
“It’s not really safe for a smoking hot babe to be wandering around downtown alone,” he said to me.
Fuck he was sexy. And he called me HOT!
His hand still held onto my elbow from when he steadied me on my feet. The touch of him occupied every part of my brain. I couldn’t stop looking at him. There was something familiar about him, something comforting, yet sexy.
“I’m sorry,” I said.
He laughed. The way his eyes looked at me made me wet. They squinted and were firm with me. I could see the disappointment in them, but also I saw a desire. I had made a horrible decision to walk alone downtown. It was stupid and I knew it.
“What are you sorry for darling?”
“Um, I… well… for being out alone.”
His smile made my brain stop working. I couldn’t even think straight. The way he looked at me. It was like nothing I had ever experienced. His slow gaze washed over me and I couldn’t look away. I didn’t want to look away.
“Alright, well I think we should get you home. Where do you live?”
Oh no, I wasn’t about to tell this fucking hot as hell guy that I lived in the dorms on campus at the University. Shit! And I couldn’t remember the hotel name.
“I don’t live around here,” I said as I pulled my phone out and tried to find the text from my friends about what hotel they were at.
My phone slipped and crashed to the ground.
“Fuck,” I blurted out. “My friends, we are at a hotel. Goddamnit I don’t know which one.”
He didn’t seem to care at all that I had broken my phone. Obviously he wasn’t the kind of guy who worried about a $500 phone. By the looks of him he had money, lots of it. Although he was in a t-shirt, jeans, and some sketchers; his watch was a Rolex and I knew those didn’t come cheap.
“What do you suggest we do? I’m not about to leave you on the street,” he said as he picked up my phone and handed it back to me.
“It’s alright, I can take care of myself,” I said as I looked into his insanely handsome eyes.
He smiled a little half smile and seemed quite amused by me.
“Oh, yes. I saw that.”
“Really, I’m fine. I mean, thanks for getting that creep to leave; but I’ll be fine.”
“Yes, you are fine,” he said with a smile.
There was just something amazing about the way his eyes drilled into me. I felt like he could see past my outside and right into my soul. He was cocky, though, the kind of cocky that came from getting what he wanted. I could tell he usually got exactly what he wanted and probably expected that he could get me that easily as well.
“Ok, yes, thank you.”
Then it happened. The slow buildup of dizziness took over my body. I reached out and grabbed a hold of the hot strangers arm as my whole body started to sweat and I felt like I was going to fall over. My body decided to give up the alcohol and food I had consumed throughout the night, all over the ground.
Vomit spewed all over the shoes of the nice stranger, too and I was mortified.
His hands reached for my hair and pulled it back and my stomach rid itself of all the contents. Oh, how humiliated I was.
I couldn’t speak; I just looked at him and shook my head.
My body was so tired and overwhelmed. Either the combination of too much alcohol or the alcohol and the adrenaline from that incident; but I had officially puked on the hottest guy in Chicago.
“I guess now I have to take you home. I can’t leave a puking hot girl alone in Chicago.”
“Oh, please don’t be nice to me after that. God, I’m so sorry.”
His hands were still holding onto my hair and he pulled my head to face him. I’m pretty sure I still had puke somewhere around my mouth.
“Come on, you are coming back to my place. I won’t take no for an answer,” he said as he grabbed my elbow and helped me to my feet.
Oh, my aching feet. I looked down at my heels and wished I could just take them off, but the disgusting Chicago streets weren’t something I wanted my bare feet on.
I looked at his shoes and saw the remnants of my puke all over them. This was one saint of a guy to still want to take care of me after I had vomited all over him. Or he was just a much better predator than the thug looking guy?
I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at him, he was too damn handsome. I couldn’t get past it. His rugged jaw line had just a touch of stubble on it. His brown hair was combed impeccably, I thought he looked like someone I knew, but I just couldn’t place him. Maybe he was one of the newscasters I had seen on television? He looked like the kind of guy you would see on TV. Totally handsome, put together, muscular and a Greek God’s body.
“I can’t go home with a total stranger,” I said.
I was barely able to stand and he still had to hold me so I didn’t fall over. My body was exhausted from being sick and I needed to lie down.
“I’m not a stranger, I’m Matthew. What’s your name?”
“I’m Kayla. Well Michaela, but I like to be called Kayla. How do I know you’re not an ax murderer?”
“Well, first of all, you can look at my hands,” he said as he held up one of his hands. “See how smooth that is? I have never even held an ax.”
I laughed so hard I would have fallen over if Matthew hadn’t been holding onto me.
“I don’t go home with guys I don’t know.”
As much as I really would have love to go home with him. I was beyond a mess and didn’t really think being taken to his house in that condition was a good idea. I had puked and still felt ill, I needed a bed desperately.
“Kayla,” he said with a wicked smile, “I’m going to take you to my apartment. I’m going to let you take a shower and I’ll give you a shirt just like this one, but that is clean. I’m not going to try anything with you. I’m going to let you sleep in my bed and I’m going to sleep on the couch. That’s what’s going to happen right now.”
Matthew didn’t wait for me to answer as he wrapped one arm around my waist and used the other to steady me. We walked for about two blocks before we went into a building. It was a fancy apartment tower and I couldn’t help but look around in awe. I had been right about him, he was rich for sure.
When the elevator doors closed, I felt his body move closer to me. His hand squeezed my waist toward him and I wanted more. The feeling of his hands on my body sent electricity through me like I hadn’t felt before.
“Let’s get you into the shower,” Matthew said as we walked into his very large apartment.
I looked over at him with a smile. Oh, I was just fine with him taking a shower with me. In the light of his executive penthouse apartment, I had decided he was a good guy after all. No ax murderer could afford a Rolex and a penthouse. Plus there was just something about him. He was friendly, funny and had a smile to die for.
I instantly thought about Ted Bundy and how all the women he murdered had probably thought of those same descriptors. But Matthew was different, I couldn’t describe exactly why, but he was personable and he wasn’t a murderer. I knew it.
“I meant, I will help get you settled so you can take a shower,” he gave me that half-smile that had so much more behind it.
He sat me down on the bench in the bathroom and he left for a minute. I glanced around the room and couldn’t believe I was about to take a shower in there. The bathroom was enormous. That one room was larger than my entire dorm room that I had spent the last four years living in.
“Here,” he said as he handed me a freshly pressed white business shirt almost identical to the one I had on as a dress. “Or if you would prefer.” The other shirt he handed me was a white undershirt.
“Thank you,” I said as my eyes looked at the ground.
He pulled open the drawer under the sink and there were about a dozen new toothbrushes and other various women’s hygiene items. Suddenly I felt way out of my league. This guy had women stay over at his place so often that he had a drawer just for them. Shit!
“I’ll leave you to it,” he said with a smile as he pointed to the shower.
He walked backward out of the bathroom with his eye firmly planted on mine. It was an odd sensation to have a man look you in the eyes so directly. Especially since I was dressed so seductively. But that’s what made me want him. And oh did I want him.
Matthew was like no man I had ever been around. He was confident, dark, but also funny. His good looks automatically made me feel like a middle school girl with a crush. Maybe I had imagined him looking at me with lust, but I could have sworn he did. Perhaps he was just a nice guy. I hadn’t been around too many of those so it was hard for me to see one when they were right in front of me.
***
The shower felt glorious and I took full advantage of it. My tiny dorm room shower only allowed for five minutes of hot water before you were forced out. To stand underneath scalding hot water for a whole twenty minutes was as close to heaven as I had gotten in the last four years.
I tried to think about what I should do now. Should I try to flirt with him? He was so sophisticated and worldly looking; certainly he didn’t need some college girl throwing herself at him. No. I needed to keep my wits about me. He was just nice.
It was much more likely that he didn’t want me to get attacked in the streets overnight and he was being a nice person and offering me a place to crash. I probably just imagined the look of lust that I thought I saw in his eyes. Surly a man like him didn’t need to lust after a college girl like myself.
I had almost been attacked by a drunken man and Matthew was simply trying to be a nice guy. Obviously he didn’t get to where he was in life by being a jerk to women. No, I wasn’t going to throw myself at him. I would simply get dressed and go lay on the couch.
“Do you feel better?” Matthew asked as I came out of the shower.
My soaking wet hair dripped slightly onto the white t-shirt he had given me and I felt self-conscious that my nipples had started to harden with the touch of the water. But I tried to be confident; surely it wasn’t something I was good at, though.
For the last four years I had been consumed with school and work. On one hand I could count the number of dates I had been on. My priority had been school, not boys. The girls I knew that got wrapped up in boyfriends ended up getting bad grades and none of them had good jobs lined up. I didn’t regret the life I had lived throughout college. But I certainly didn’t feel confident alone with a man; especially a man like Matthew.
“Oh, yes. So much better. Thank you,” I said as I made my way over to him in the kitchen.
“No more puking?” he said as his eyes looked toward the front door where his vomit covered shoes were. They looked like he had washed them off and were now sitting on a clean towel.
“No more. I feel better. I’m so sorry.”
“Oh, I’ve had much worse things happen to me. A little bodily fluid isn’t something I’m afraid of.”
That crooked smile of his flashed and for the first time since I had met him I saw his gaze move down to my breast. Likely because my damp hair was turning my t-shirt into some sort of college drinking wet t-shirt contest. But I fought every urge to cover myself.
A man like Matthew wasn’t going to go for a girl who wasn’t confident. Girl…I wasn’t a girl anymore. I really needed to stop calling myself that. I was almost twenty-two years old and on my way to work in Washington D.C. I was a woman and I needed to start acting like one.
“Well, I feel better now. That spa you have there was pretty fantastic.”
“You enjoyed the shower?”
“Um, yeah. My shower is about two feet by two feet and hot water isn’t really a thing at my place,” I said as I took a sip of the coffee he handed me.
Eye contact! Remember to make eye contact I told myself.
“I’m glad you’re feeling better,” Matthew said as he walked toward me.
My heart jumped up into my throat as he came near me. His eyes were big and I definitely felt like they were filled with lust. When he stood next to me and looked down at my nipples as they shown through my shirt, fuck I knew I was in trouble.
“Yeah,” I said as I found a little bit of breath to talk.
It was hard to think straight with him standing there next to me. My mind raced as I tried to analyze the situation. But there was no use. I couldn’t analyze anything. All I could think about was how his lips looked like they were about to crush down and kiss me.
My blood rushed through my veins in an effort to excite every last part of me. I had never even been that close to a man like Matthew. I certainly had never been the object of his affection.
Was I the object of his affection?
I had no idea. I felt like he wanted me. But he hadn’t really done anything or said anything that would make me know for sure. The insecure girl in me kept thinking that I was imagining him lusting after me.
“Are you hungry? I don’t have much, but you could probably find something to eat.”
He opened his fridge and it was the saddest fridge I had ever seen. There were some breakfast sausages, kale, tomatoes, and eggs. Nothing else in the fridge at all.
“Wow, are you on a hunger strike or something?” I said as I pushed past him to look into the giant floor to ceiling fridge.
“I’m not home much.”
“It’s a good thing; you’d probably starve to death.”
He seemed amused by me and that drove me to try and keep the conversation going. Talking was something I could do. I loved to talk to people. I just usually didn’t also want their lips all over my body. I also didn’t usually talk to men that I had only met an hour before and already puked on.
Damn, his lips though. I couldn’t stop thinking about them. I couldn’t stop wanting them to press against my lips.
“I can usually find what I want to eat when I want it.”
My face went red. He said it like he wanted to eat me. Fuck. My mind raced with an effort at a good comeback, but I just couldn’t think straight. Everything about this man had me feeling so off center. I just stood there and smiled like some sort of weirdo.
“What do you like to eat?” I asked in a totally unsexy way.
I couldn’t believe my own words. I was like a child! He was obviously flirting with me and I kept talking about food. I didn’t deserve to have a guy like him if I couldn’t even come up with a good flirting game.
He smiled at me and stepped closer.
The fridge was opened and I stood between him and his very small amount of groceries. The cool refrigerator air made my nipples hard and I felt them as they stood at attention for Matthew.
“I lied to you, I’m sorry.”
“What?” I laughed. He looked so serious. “We only met an hour ago what could you have lied about already?”
His eye focused onto my lips and I stood there shocked as he moved toward me. My lips sat half parted and totally unprepared for the kiss he planted on me.
Slowly I opened my mouth and accepted his tongue into me. Our lips moved together and I felt my knees get weak at the taste of him. His hand reached up and passed by my breasts, but he stopped and let his fingers linger on my hard nipple.
He squeezed my nipple between his fingers for just a moment before her let his hand continued the journey up to my cheek. As he placed his hand on my cheek, he pulled away to look at me.
I was dazed. In shock most likely. He tasted so good I could have kissed him for days and days. I watched him as he took a deep breath and appeared to ponder what to do next. He looked at me like he wanted me so desperately he might explode. But something held him back.
“I’m sorry I said I wouldn’t try to sleep with you. It was a lie,” he said.
Suddenly he reached down and grabbed me by the ass and lifted me up to the island in the middle of his kitchen. I let out a startled cry and laughed. He picked me up like I was a rag doll or something.
My hands rested on his biceps and I felt his strength. He was at least twice my size, probably around 200 pounds of pure muscle. At 6’2” or so he was tall but his stature seemed even more commanding because of his confidence.
“Oh, you are going to try and sleep with me?” I giggled.
“Fuck, that was a lie also.”
“Why? You’re not going to sleep with me?”
I couldn’t help but smile. He had a boyish grin that flashed as he held onto me. My bare ass on his countertop, his eyes even with mine.
“I’m not going to try at all. I’m going to do,” he said with emphasis on the ‘do’.
He pulled me back toward him and lifted me into his arms. My legs straddled him and my arms wrapped around his neck to support myself. Although he did just fine supporting me. I probably weighed less than the weights he lifted at the gym.
Matthew walked diligently toward his bedroom and fell onto the bed backward with me on top of him. I couldn’t stop laughing. It was just crazy that he wanted me, but I wasn’t about to deny him.
I was only a few days away from moving to Washington D.C. and would likely never see this guy again. Having a fun fling with him was just what I needed to feel like I had truly transitioned from a college girl to a woman.
“Your face is flushed,” he said as his hand gently touched my cheek. “Are you nervous?”
Fuck yeah, I was nervous. This was a man. He wasn’t some jock from college. This guy knew what he wanted and probably knew a lot more than I did when I came to sex. I was nervous as hell.
“No,” I lied.
I leaned down and kissed him in an effort to take control. I wanted to show him I was confident and willing to take what I wanted.
His lips filled my body with lust that I hadn’t felt like that ever. I wanted to feel him inside of me. I would have said yes to anything he asked at that moment because my need for him had taken over any reasoning that I might have had.
“Take off your shirt,” he ordered with a smile.
He put his hands behind his head and just looked at me as I did as he asked. His deep brown eyes penetrated my defenses and I couldn’t keep eye contact with him. I quickly reverted to the shyness that I found comfort in. My eyes looked down at him.
The smile he held on his face was childlike, yet he was such a man. He was probably close to forty years old, but he had aged very well. His hands looked like he had once worked very hard in life, but most recently appeared they were probably behind a desk most of the day.
“Anything else you want me to take off?” I asked.
“My shirt, my pants, just take everything off of us,” he grinned.
His light-hearted way about him was appealing and fun. He seemed like the kind of guy you would want around if you were having a bad day.
I slowly lifted his shirt above his head and left it stuck there with his arms in it. I moved down to his jeans and looked up at him as I undid the first button.
He started to take his arms out of his shirt.
“Oh, no, no, no. You keep those arms there,” I said with authority.
He humored me and kept his arms above his head.
My ability to take control in the bedroom was certainly not something I had tried before. But there was something about him that put me at ease and made me feel like I could go out of my comfort zone, at least for the night.
For a minute, I felt like the sexiest seductress in all of Chicago.
I let me eyes look up intently at Matthew as I unbuttoned his pants one button at a time. I slid them down just enough so I could see his bulge. Oh, it was a bulge too. My hand reached up and I felt the girth of him.
“Oh, yes,” he whispered under his breath as my hand stroked against him.
I couldn’t wait. My new seductress attitude had me in a hurry to see just what he was packing in that bulge of his.
Slowly I pulled him out and watched as he sprung to attention. His size made me wet instantly. My mouth moved above him and I slid the tip of his cock between my lips slowly. He grunted with pleasure and I saw he had taken his arms out of his shirt.
Deliberately, slowly, I teased him with my lips. I moved down his shaft slow and as deep as I could take him in. Then I came back up the shaft just as slowly.
I watched him as he seemed tortured by my mouth. He kept closing his eyes and moaned with pleasure. It intoxicated me and made me feel powerful. A man like him being taken by a girl like me, it was a power switch that I loved.
My urge to show him that I wasn’t a little girl continued on. I moved from between his legs to the side of him. Then I straddled his face. If he wanted a take control woman, then that was exactly what I would give him. Or at least pretend to be that woman because literally I had no idea what I was doing.
I moved my mouth up and down his shaft with a firmness that made his hips thrust up into the air. I used one of my hands to hold onto his balls and the other to help me stroke his enormous shaft. Harder and faster I moved until his lips touched my center.
Suddenly I stopped.
The feeling of his lips on my pussy sent pleasure signals to my brain that made it impossible for me to keep moving. He moved his tongue and flicked it over me with such force that I couldn’t concentrate.
“Oh, she likes this,” he said as I moaned.
Without warning, he grabbed my legs and pulled me up to him. My pussy sat smack dab on top of his face. He held onto my thighs and prevented me from tilting back over to play with him. In fact, he held me so hard I couldn’t move at all.
His lips, mouth, and tongue, sucked and licked me with forceful pleasure that I had never even come close to before.
“Oh, yes,” I moaned as my body reacted to him.
My brain was frozen and I couldn’t think about anything except the pleasure that he gave to me. My hips started to thrust with desire and I felt the building of an explosion. I tried to stop myself. I tried to calm the ecstasy that he delivered, but there was no way I could.
As his hands held my pussy up to his face, I shook with an explosion of epic proportions. I tried to get away. I tried to stop the shaking that came from my body being so pleased. But he had a hold of me and wasn’t about to let me go.
Again, without warning, he grabbed me and flipped me over onto my stomach. He let me lay there naked as he finished taking off his clothes. I heard him reach into a drawer and looked back to see him sliding a condom on over his cock.
My desire, to feel his bulging girth inside of me drove me to press my ass into the air. I liked that he wanted to take me from behind. I wouldn’t have to look him in the face and give away just how much pleasure his body was sure to deliver to me.
He grabbed my ass and pulled me toward him, but then decided against it. With one swift motion, he leveraged his hands on my hips and flipped me over onto my back.
The vision of him as he kneeled over me with his bulging cock will never leave my brain. The muscles of his stomach were tight as he leaned down onto me.
“I want to see you while I make you cum,” he said with that damn smile of his.
“Oh, you think you’ll just be able to make me cum again?”
“Yes.”
He continued to smile as his cock slid inside of me. I felt my walls clench around him in shock at his size. My desire to have him enter me was more than my body could handle. I winced as he pressed in farther.
“Are you good?” He asked gently.
His lips moved down and touched mine ever so slightly. I shook my head yes and wrapped my arms around his neck and held him there up against me.
I wasn’t one hundred percent sure I was alright, but as my body started to relax, I motioned with my hips that he could continue.
He moved slowly and we continued to kiss. As my body took him in I couldn’t help but thrust harder and harder against him.
The pleasure came on again quickly, more quickly than I wanted it too. He saw my body as it thrust quicker and quicker so he stopped moving. We kissed. His lips gently touched mine and then pulled away. His hand rubbed my cheek and then down the side of my body like he was memorizing each curve.
I tried to thrust my hips against him. I tried to urge him to continue, but he had willpower much stronger than mine. He continued to nipple my lip, then moved to my earlobe. His hand traced my side from my hip all the way to my breast.
“You are a beautiful woman Michaela,” he said between kisses.
“Thank you.”
“Don’t ever settle for a jerk like me.”
He started to thrust harder and my body reacted in unison with him. I felt the rise in pleasure as it started in my wall and moved out to my whole pelvis. He stopped kissing me and tucked his head into the area under my ear.
His thrusts delivered his cock deep inside of me. So deep that I shook all over when my body finally gave into the orgasm. I held onto him as he continued to move, determined to get to his finish line.
The pleasure that my body felt was beyond my previous experience. I wanted to feel him thrusting hard into me. I wanted to feel my body give in to him over and over again.
“Promise me,” he said as he continued to thrust inside of me.
“What? Promise you what?”
My breath was fast and I could hardly get the words out. What did he want me to promise him?
“Promise you won’t settle for a jerk like me in life. Find your dream man.”
I kind of thought I was in the middle of being fucked by my dream man, but I wasn’t about to admit to that.
“Ok,” I said in hopes that it would satisfy him.
I really had no idea what I promised him. He wasn’t a jerk at all. I had found him to be very funny and a total gentleman. Maybe that wasn’t who he really was, but the Matthew I met that night was certainly not a jerk.
His movements quickened and I moved my hands down to his ass and held onto it as he moved hard inside of me. His ass was tight with strength and I felt the contraction as his final thrust delivered pleasure to me.
For my first one night stand, Matthew had turned out to be a guy that I probably wouldn’t be able to live up to with any other one night stand.
He leaned down and kissed me softly one last time before he got up and went to the restroom. I lay on his bed totally having an out of body moment. This was the start of my new life. I wasn’t a girl anymore, that was for damn sure; I was a woman.
I had just fucked what had to have been one of the hottest guys in all of Illinois. I felt like my womanly mojo was in full force and I was about to take over the world. My new job started in just a few days and I had a new confidence that I was going to be pretty damn good at it.
My desire to be involved in politics had finally culminated with this job and I wasn’t about to let the opportunity slip by. After four years of studying politics, I was finally on my way to getting to be part of it.
“I’m going to hop in the shower, be out in a second,” Matthew said as he opened the bathroom door.
He stood there wrapped in a towel and looked like some sort of cover model out of a magazine. If I hadn’t already had plans to go to Washington D.C., I would have loved to of stayed in Chicago and seen Matthew again. I doubted he was the kind of guy that kept a steady girlfriend, but even just a fun fling with him would have been great.
The thought of walking into a restaurant with him by my side made me smile. People would automatically think I was some sort of money hungry sugar baby or something. I wouldn’t mind, though. I bet it would be fun to go out on the town with him and have the people staring.
But it didn’t matter. I was about to leave for Washington D.C. and a whole new life, which wouldn’t involve any handsome men like Matthew.
My life was about to be engulfed in the old man politics of Washington and my desire to try and find a way to fit in. The old boys club of Washington was going to be a tough place to break into and I had no intention of sleeping my way into power. I wanted to grow a career I could be proud of and only hard work and dedication would work for that.
I needed to leave.
The awkwardness that would happen when Matthew came out of the shower was not something I wanted to deal with. I knew there was no future with a guy like him. There was no need to get my hopes up and think he would call me. Even if he did show an interest, I was about to move to the other side of the country.
I grabbed his t-shirt and pulled a pair of his sweatpants off the floor. I slipped them on and made my way out to the living room to grab my purse and my shoes.
The refrigerator door was still opened and I smiled as I shut it. How pitiful his fridge looked so empty. He was a true bachelor with a fridge like that. The only thing that would have made it more bachelor-like would have been if it was filled with beer.
I grabbed a cup of water and drank it quickly to cure the dry mouth that had overcome me. The thought of just leaving without giving Matthew my contact information weighed heavily on me. I didn’t want to seem like a slut who just slept with anyone, so I looked around for some paper to write on.
On the kitchen table, I saw a small notepad and a pen.
’Matthew, thank you for a delightful night. I’ll keep my promise, Kayla.”
I stood up to bring the paper into the kitchen and saw what looked like a picture of Matthew on the front of a magazine on his table.
Slowly I dropped the paper onto the floor and grabbed the magazine out of shock. Had I just slept with some sort of celebrity? Oh God! It hit me. I knew who he was.
‘He’s about to take the world by Storm’ the front of the magazine said.
I flipped through it as fast as I could to try and find the story. Maybe he wasn’t who I thought he was. Maybe he was some sort of investor? A model? No, he didn’t seem like either of those. Maybe he owned some big corporation or something.
My hands shook and I looked back toward the bedroom in hopes that he wouldn’t come out. I flipped through the magazine so fast that I couldn’t find the story.
My mind raced as I tried to flip through the magazine slower so I could actually find what I was looking for.
‘Matthew Storm, the hottest young Senator in Washington, has his sights on the White House.’
The first line of the article was all I needed to see. It was him. I had just fucked Senator Matthew Storm, my new boss. I ran out of the apartment just as he came out of his bathroom. What the hell was I going to do now?
Matthew
Back in D.C. and it was time to get serious about work. My complex plan would take years to put fully in place, but I was never one to shy away from a little work.
With the new legislative session in the works, I had lists and lists of people I needed to mingle with. The first of which was Senator Joel Edwards. He was a fresh fish to politics and had won Iowa in a landslide. It wasn’t often we had a new guy in our midst and I wanted to be one of the first people to welcome him.
I hoped that building a relationship with him would get me in the door with his mentor, Senator Stickney. Andrew Stickney was harder to crack than any other Senator in Washington. He was on the senate arms committee and pretty much said whether someone would be considered or not. But I had yet to get a one on one meeting with the man.
Senator Stickney, wasn’t interested in the politics of Washington and instead always said he was dedicated to his constituents. It was an admirable way of working, but it would never get him what he wanted in Washington. The only way to get ahead in this town was through relationships.
Joel had won over his small town and then served one term as governor, which was pretty fresh meat to be walking into the Senate. Most new guys, and girls, typically had at least ten years of small town or state politics before they ended up in Washington.
I had watched Joel’s campaign and admired it from afar. He was a dedicated social media expert in politics and that was a great new way of building a following. I personally was fascinated by the power of social media and couldn’t wait to implement it into my plan when the time was right.
I didn’t fit into the ten-year rule either, but since I come from a political family it made sense for me to move quicker up the political ladder. After my father had passed away, people looked for someone to take over his legacy; both in business and politics. I was ready for the challenge. After business school I had already planned to work my way up in his company, his death just accelerated my move. I was confident I would have ended up in the exact same position had I been given more time and my father. But alas, I couldn’t change the fact that he was gone.
Washington was an intricate subculture that many new Senators struggled with. Everyone you talked to was out for themselves. It took me a whole year to truly understand this. You get asked to lunch and feel like someone is being genuine and wants to help you, then bam you get asked to join a committee or co-sponsor a bill.
I ended up on eight committees because of my lack of understanding when I first came to D.C. That number had dwindled down to six, but still a heinous amount of time out of my schedule. Yet the one committee that I needed to get on had eluded me. The arms committee was reserved for the long timers, yet that’s where I had to make my move this year.
Planning out the longevity of a political career was similar to trying to eat an ice cream cone in one hundred degree heat. Constantly I had to change my plans and prepare for what was next. Many of my days were spent keeping the ice cream from hitting the floor; or the shit from hitting the fan. Politics got messy and I was known as the clean-up man.
It wasn’t officially a title. But many of my colleges had learned that I was excellent at spinning the press in their favor if they needed it. There was a certain tact to controlling the media though and I needed to understand the social media end of things if I was ever going to truly win them over.
Without fail, I would get on that arms committee though. It was an absolutely necessity for my future in politics. My first push would be with the mix of Senators I was already friends with. They had to get my name out there as someone who could fill the empty position.
“Senator Edwards. Joel, it’s nice to meet you,” I said as we shook hands in the cafeteria.
As much as we would like to have meetings in fancy restaurants, most of us Senators were too busy for that. Lunch meetings were typically catered in our offices or in front of lunch trays in the cafeteria.
“Matthew, it’s great to see you,” he said with his strong handshake.
The kid was green. I could tell the nervousness in his hands as he shook mine. But he should be nervous. I planned to eat him up and spit him out by the end of the year. My plan needed a pawn and Joel Edwards was the perfect person for the job. Of course Andrew Stickney would have to be used as well, but my plan for him was much more painful and career ending than my plan for Joel.
As we sat and ate our meal, we exchanged niceties and discussed what life was like on the hill. It was more than just making laws and giving back to society. There was a dark underground that I warned Joel about. It was more than most young Senators understood and it wasn’t something I could have him falling prey to. I needed him to remain fresh meat so he was trustworthy and someone that I could use to get what I needed.
“So Joel, any big plans for your first term?” I asked.
“Not really. I know many people are worried about health care reform and that stuff, but I’m just going to sit back and take everything in at first. It’s a lot to try and understand.”
“Definitely. I think that’s the biggest mistake I made when I got here. I tried to take over the place. The older guys really hate that and get defensive. Sitting back and letting others come to you will be a much better plan.”
“Thanks, Matthew. Hey, I was sorry to hear about your father. He was a good man.”
“Yes, he was. Thanks.”
I hated it when people brought up my father. Yes, he was a good man. But he had passed away four years before and I wanted to move on from it. Unfortunately, no one else wanted to move on, they all still loved talking about my father and his politics and business throughout the years.
“Do you feel like you have a similar style as him?”
“I have a style of my own, it’s…”
I stopped talking. My brain couldn’t process what I saw. I could have sworn I saw Kayla walk through the hallway on the other side of the cafeteria with a fresh batch of interns and political aids getting their first-day tour.
Certainly it couldn’t have been her. She ran out on our night together in Chicago. There was no way she was there in Washington D.C. My mind must have been playing a trick on me.
I had thought about her a lot since that night. Probably because she had been so sweet and hadn’t wanted anything from me. In fact she left without even a ‘goodbye’ to me. But even a sweet girl usually wouldn’t garner all that much attention from me after she was gone. There was something about Kayla that kept drawing my memory back to her. And now I was even having visual hallucinations that she was there in Washington D.C.
Yet, my eyes didn’t lie. I remembered her so vividly. Her touch. Her lips. The smell of her body. My cock reacted to just the thought of her. I normally had better self-control over my body than that. It wasn’t something I was prepared to deal with there at the cafeteria table.
Maybe I just wanted to see her there? I was still pissed that she had left without giving me her number or even saying goodbye. She had no way of contacting me and I had no way of reaching her. It wasn’t my typical one night stand. Normally I had to make an excuse as to why I couldn’t keep in touch.
Never did the women try and get rid of me before I tried to dump her. But I figured there was a first time for everything. Kayla must have gotten spooked by something, I just couldn’t figure out what it was. It had haunted me that whole next day as I replayed the evening and tried to figure out why she had left so quickly.
I couldn’t stand the idea that Kayla was there in D.C. If it was her, and I couldn’t stand the mystery so I excused myself for a moment and made my way to the tunnel area where I saw the new aids tour heading. I had to see if it was her. My brain said it couldn’t be, but my body said it was definitely her.
When I came around the corner, I saw her standing with the group. It was her. One hundred percent it was Kayla.
Fuck!
I turned back to finish my meal with Joel. There was no way I could have Kayla anywhere around me. I had work that needed to be done during the legislative season and an ass like hers would be way too distracting.
Hopefully, she was with a Senator in one of the other buildings and not mine. That was all I could hope for at that point. At least that way I could avoid her if I knew who she was going to work with.
Kayla
My heart pounded out of control as I walked down the hallway to Senator Storm’s office. I had no idea how I was going to handle the situation. It wasn’t anything I had thought would ever be an issue.
In general, I was pretty good dealing with my ex-boyfriends. We typically broke up on good terms and were able to work together, or run into each other, and be civil around each other. But I had never been in a potential situation like the one I was faced with. Never had I ever dated my boss.
I wasn’t the kind of girl who slept with a guy like Matthew normally anyway. In fact, I absolutely wouldn’t have gone home with him if I knew who he was. Even if I had been a little buzzed when we met, if I recognized him there was no way I would have gone home with him. I would have told him about my plans to work with him in Washington. I would have geeked out totally and tried to talk politics all night long. It would have been a very boring date.
But I couldn’t say I was sorry that I had gone with him. His hands still ran through my mind when I remembered that night. Everything about him was perfect. His body, his lips, his cock. Matthew was the kind of man I dreamed of having. But not at the expense of giving up my dreams of working in politics.
When I saw him in the office, I would just explain that I didn’t know who he was. Right away I would have to get that out in the open. I didn’t want him to think that I had purposely slept with him because of who he was.
Actually, there was no way he could think that. Right? I mean he approached me on the street, it wasn’t the other way around. Surely he had to know I wasn’t some sort of strange college girl stalker. I wouldn’t act like that. Never.
My breathing was labored and I couldn’t seem to calm myself. There was no way this was going to work out. All I could think about was trying to concentrate with him around. My mind would always be on what it was like to have him inside of me. I would always be thinking about his thrusts and my moans.
Maybe I could transfer to work with another Senator. There were plenty of them around and I was relatively positive other women would be interested in trading with me. Matthew was the hottest Senator in Washington D.C., it wasn’t likely anyone would turn down an invitation to come work for him.
I stopped and turned back toward the elevator. It just wasn’t going to work. I couldn’t work as an aid to a man I had slept with and then ran out on. Never. It seemed like a bad made for T.V. movie. My career was worth more than that and I needed to find out how I could trade my Senator to a new one.
Or I could leave and not work in politics? How would I explain that?
The idea that I just left and didn’t say goodbye or give Matthew a chance was pretty bad. But leaving at that moment would be worse. I needed to figure out an explanation for why I didn’t even leave information about how to reach me. Surely that is the part that would sit badly in Matthew’s memory. It was childish to have left like that. But I couldn’t just stay there and have to talk to him after I realized who he was.
I stood by the elevator as I tried to play out the possible scenarios in my head. None of them seemed very good.
“Hey, are you a new intern? Do you need help finding your way?” A nicely dressed guy asked as he got off the elevator.
“Um, yes sort of. I’m a first-year aid, worker. I’m working with Senator Storm.”
“Oh, hey, yeah, that’s great. I’m Steven. I work with Senator Storm too. Come this way,” Steven seemed really excited and had much more energy than I typically did.
“I’m Michaela Wilson,” I said as I followed him into the office.
Instantly I looked around to see if Matthew was there. His office door was open though and it didn’t appear anyone was there. Finally, I could relax for a moment.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Michaela. As I said, I’m Steven. And this is Sarah and Jeannette. We were all interns last year. Now I think our title is legislative aids, but not sure. Sarah, do you know what our job title is?”
“Nope, not sure. Aren’t we called slaves?”
I couldn’t help but laugh. The three of them seemed to get along really well and had great senses of humor. I could only hope that they would make this year fun for me after all. If I worked with a group of fun co-workers that would be a great way to take my mind off of my own issues with Matthew.
“So are you the intern or the aid?” Jeannette asked.
“I’m an aid. I just graduated from college.”
“Crap, that means the intern is lost. Sarah, can you go try and find her?”
“There was a girl crying downstairs,” I offered.
“Alright, so Michaela was your name?” Steven asked me.
“Yes, but I go by Kayla.”
“Ok, Kayla, so here’s the deal. Although you are one tiny step up from an intern, you’re still pretty much the low person on the totem pole. If I or Sarah, or Jeannette asks you to do something you need to just do it. If Senator Storm asks you, it’s necessary to do it even faster than humanly possible.”
“Ok.”
“I’m serious. Mr. Storm doesn’t take kindly to slowness. You need to get the job done quickly or he’ll fire you and have a new person in here by tomorrow. He’s all business while he’s in the office and doesn’t appreciate any distractions.”
“Alright.”
The way Steven talked about Matthew was not at all like the man I had spent the night with. I couldn’t even imagine Matthew being as tough of a boss as Steven made him out to be. I figured he was a tough boss at least, but not someone people would be afraid of.
“Kayla, look at me. If he even smells weakness on you, he will eat you alive.”
I snickered.
Not because I was afraid of Matthew, Senator Storm. But because Matthew had literally already eaten me. His mouth had been all over my body, tasting every inch of it. Oh, how Steven would flip his shit if he knew I had fucked his beloved Senator Storm already. But of course, that wasn’t something I was about to tell anyone. It was going to have to be my little secret for as long as I worked in the office.
“I’m sorry for laughing. Um, does the Senator work out of his office very often?”
“This isn’t a game Kayla. It’s serious. We work at least eighty hours a week and there’s very little thanks involved in this job. As a first year employee, you can expect to file, order food, and do other errands. But you’ll need to do it with a smile. And yes Senator Storm works out of his office here a lot.”
“I’ll make sure I do everything I’m asked to do.”
“Now that we have that clear, I’m going to have you join some of the interns and first years on a tour of everything. It’s a lot to take in, but you should at least get the basics down after the tour.”
“Sounds good to me.”
We made our way back downstairs where Sarah was talking to the crying girl. It didn’t seem like she was going to be coming on the tour. Her makeup was running down her face and she was almost hyperventilating she was crying so hard.
I knew how she felt. I desperately wanted to just sit in the corner and cry, but that just wasn’t a possibility. That kind of weakness wasn’t my thing. I was more interested in pushing forward to the next big adventure.
“She’s definitely not going to last,” Steven said as we walked across the road to the capital building.
“Why is she crying?” I asked, knowing that Steven didn’t have the answer either.
“A lot of students aren’t prepared to be away from their family and stuck here for the whole semester. Usually, it takes them getting yelled at by Senator Storm before they break down, though.”
“He yells?”
“Let me put it to you this way. Stay on his good side. If you get on his bad side, you’ll be gone by the end of the day.”
“Wow, he sounds like an ass.”
“Oh, he is.”
That did not sit well with me. My brain couldn’t get around the idea that Matthew was really a jerk. That wasn’t the guy I had met. The man I met on the street in Chicago went out of his way to make sure I was safe. He was kind and gentle and certainly not even close to being a jerk.
Steven left me with all the other new employees and interns so I could get the in-depth tour of the capital building. It was fascinating for me. I had visited once before when I was in high school. But now, as my career was getting started in the political world; the tour took on a whole new meaning for me.
Every room, every hallway, it all seemed bigger than life when I was in high school. Now, as I walked through the capital building, my thoughts turned to the power that was held in each of the rooms. The men and women that worked in Washington were among the most powerful in the country. They had the power to vote bills into laws and change how we as citizens function in our day to day life. I wanted that power someday.
***
“How was the tour?” Steven asked as I finally made my way back to the office.
“It was exhausting. I didn’t know there were so many rooms, my tour in high school only covered a few,” I said as I sat down in exhaustion.
My feet hurt horribly bad and all I could think about was how great it would be to take my shoes off and put my feet up. But I suspected that would not be a very professional thing to do on my first day of work. Perhaps on my second day, I laughed to myself.
“Sorry, no time for resting. I need you to go into Mr. Storms office and unload those boxes of books onto his bookshelf for him.”
At the mention of Matthew’s name, I perked up right away. I still hadn’t seen him yet and I was eager to get my explanation out of the way about why I was there. I was sure it would be very uncomfortable, but as soon as I assured him I was there to work I was sure we would be alright with our arrangement.
“Is he here?”
“Mr. Storm is still out at committee meetings. I don’t expect he’ll be here much today. There will be plenty of time for meeting him later, don’t worry.”
“Sure, I understand.”
I made my way into his office and started to unload the boxes. As I placed them on the shelf, I looked back at the office door to make sure he wasn’t coming. The last thing I wanted was to meet him with my ass up in the air while I was unloading the books from the boxes.
My heart pounded at the thought of getting to see Matthew again. I don’t know why I was so excited. That night when I left him I was terrified of this moment, of this day, and now all I could think about was looking in his eyes again. My heart thumped with a desire to see him and I felt my face turn flush red just thinking about Matthew.
The memory of his body naked on top of mine, still sent chills through my body. I had wanted him so badly that I almost orgasmed the second he slid inside of me. His body was filled with muscles and his eyes peered down at me with such command. Even days later I could remember the look in his eyes as he watched me orgasm. The pleasure it brought him was evident for sure.
As I finished the first box, I felt the presence of someone behind me. I paused, I knew it was him before he even said a word. His smell was specific. I didn’t know what cologne he wore but I knew it was Matthew before I even heard him or turned around.
“Looks like you’re working hard. I like that in a new intern,” I heard Matthew say from behind me.
Slowly I stood up and turned around to face him. My heart fluttered with desire. It had only been a few days, but I had forgotten just how weak in the knees he made me. I smiled and looked into his eyes as I tried to find the right words to explain why I was standing in his office. Surely there was a better way to explain the situation, but my words just wouldn’t come to me.
“Hi,” I said as I tried not to make eye contact with him anymore.
My plan to explain everything went right out the window when I was faced with him right in front of me. I lost my words and just stood there. His eyes penetrated through me and even though I had looked away, I still felt them.
“I’m Matthew Storm,” he said as he put his hand out for me to shake. “Are you the new intern?”
Didn’t he know who I was? My mind swirled with what the hell was going on. Why was he introducing himself to me? Of course, he knew who I was. Was he playing a game? I didn’t know what to say.
“Um, hi,” I said as I reached my hand out to shake his.
“So you’re the new intern?”
“No, I’m a first-year aid, or assistant, or whatever you call us. Names Michaela,” I said jokingly.
Surely he knew who I was. Perhaps he just wanted to keep things professional at work. Or maybe he was playing some sort of game. Either way, it made me feel pretty shitty to think that he really didn’t recognize me.
“Great, it’s nice to have you on board,” he said as he turned and walked to his desk.
I had no idea what was going on but embarrassment seeped into my cheeks and I wanted to get out of that room as fast as possible. My expectation was that I would have to explain why I was there. I did not expect for him to have no idea who the hell I was.
Did he seriously sleep with so many women that he didn’t remember having me in his bed only a few days before? It baffled me. Then it infuriated me. I had never met a man who could anger me and excite me so quickly.
All of my lovely thoughts about my night with Matthew were now gone. Instead, I stood there filled with anxiety and self-doubt about why I had slept with a man who cared so little about who he had in his bed. How could he seriously not remember me? I had felt like we had something special, a special connection between the two of us. But maybe I had imagined it all. Maybe there was no special connection at all. I didn’t know. Nothing made sense in that moment.
Nothing about the moment was comfortable at all either and I needed to get out of that room as fast as possible.
I finished putting the last few books onto the shelf and then stormed out of his office and back to my small desk in the other room.
“Well, I see you met Senator Storm,” Sarah said as I sat at my desk with tears forming in my eyes.
“He’s an ass.”
“You’ll get used to him. He’s just efficient. Don’t worry about it too much. He’s got an assistant who he works with most of the time, Alex is his name. Even Steven and I don’t work with the Senator all that much. So you’ll be safe out here. We will give you most of your tasks anyways.”
“Okay,” I said as I tried to calm my anger.
There was no way I could explain to Sarah exactly why I was so angry. She didn’t need to know that I had been naked in Matthews bed only a few short days before.
“I’ve got a list of errands we need done before tomorrow. How do you feel about doing them?” Sarah asked as she handed me the list.
I knew she wasn’t really asking me, it was more like telling me. But I was happy to get out of the office for a little bit. I certainly didn’t want to have to talk to Matthew again, especially since he seemed to not have any idea who I was.
“Sure, I can handle a few errands.”
“Just pick this stuff up and get it back here and you can head out for the night.”
“Sounds good. Thanks, Sarah.”
I grabbed my jacket and made my way out to the main hallways. As I looked through the list, it didn’t seem too difficult. The problem was I had to leave my car at the park n’ ride about ten miles out of town. Surely I could find most of the items at the stores around the capital, though, or at least I thought I could.
It was much tougher than I thought it was going to be. As I made my way around town, I desperately searched for a store that had all the supplies I needed, but I didn’t have much luck. All the stores in the downtown area were specialty stores.
One store had the paper I needed, another the notepads, but none of them had the red pens I needed to find. I lugged around my purchases from one store to the next trying to find the last item on my list.
Finally, about two miles away from the capital, I found a store that carried the red pens I needed. It was well past six o’clock when I made my way back to the office. Again I felt the exhaustion of the day.
My arms hurt from carrying everything for the last several miles and I was utterly exhausted. This job was turning out to be much more work than I had expected. But perhaps I was just exhausted from all the first-day stuff.
“Hey, are you Michaela?” A man in a suit said to me as I came into the office.
“Yep.”
“Hi, I’m Alex. I’m Senator Storms assistant. I was getting a little worried about you. Sarah said you left a few hours ago to get the supplies.”
“Yeah, sorry. I didn’t really know where I was going.”
“No problem. I just wanted to make sure I had the chance to introduce myself before you left for the day.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Alex.”
“You too. Well, I’m going to head home and get some sleep. You should too. Everyday can last forever here if you don’t make it a priority to leave.”
“I’m right behind you. I just need to put these things away.”
As Alex left, I slumped into my chair out of exhaustion. It had been a really long day and I couldn’t wait to get back to my little apartment and get some sleep.
The place I was renting was a little ways out of town, and not in the best neighborhood, but it had a bed. Oh, how I wanted my bed so badly at that moment.
I finished putting the first sack of items away and then I heard a noise coming from Matthew’s office. My stomach churned as I realized who was there.
Crap he was still there!
I kept my eyes on the door as I hurried to finish putting the supplies away so I could leave before he came out of his office. I absolutely didn’t want to have to deal with him again. And I couldn’t bare the embarrassment of him not knowing who I was again.
Just as I had finished putting everything away and I was about to leave, Matthew came out of his office. My luck just never quit worked out how I wanted it to.
He looked at me and then looked around the room like he was making sure no one else was still around.
“Is everyone gone?”
“Yes.”
“Well we should get out of here also I suppose,” Matthew said with a smile.
I couldn’t figure out if he smiled at me or if he just smiled because he wanted to leave the office. But then again, he didn’t even recognize me so he certainly wasn’t going to start smiling at me.
“Yes, I was just heading out.”
“You really shouldn’t leave alone this late at night. Washington is pretty dangerous.”
“I’ll try to leave earlier next time.”
It was driving me nuts that he didn’t know who I was. How was it even possible that we had spent a whole night together and he didn’t remember me? My mind swirled with the possibilities and none of them seemed good at all.
He could have been so drunk he didn’t remember me. He could have been on some sort of drugs. Or worse yet, Matthew could sleep with so many women he couldn’t keep them straight in his mind.
None of those possibilities seemed like they were true though. I knew he remembered me. I just knew it. But I didn’t know why he was pretending like he didn’t know me.
But then I started to think about the fact that I had left him that morning without saying goodbye or giving him any way to reach me. Maybe he was still angry about that? I had no idea. He didn’t seem like the type of guy to hold a grudge, but perhaps that was what was going on at that moment.
“Let me walk with you to your car. Are you parked near here?” Matthew said as we got into the elevator.
Standing alone with him in the elevator I could feel sexual tension like I had never felt before. It might have only been one-sided sexual tension, but I certainly felt it between us. There was a power that sat in the air between our bodies and it wasn’t going away.
“I took the train in. My car is up north a few miles,” I managed to say.
My brain wasn’t thinking straight. Every fiber of my body wanted Matthew to put his hands on me again. But he wouldn’t even look at me. His eyes were focused on his phone and he only half paid attention to the fact that I was even in the elevator with him.
“The train? Where are you staying?”
“I got a good deal on a studio apartment up north.”
“North as in the worst neighborhood in town? Where the shootings happen, every night and even my security guard wouldn’t go alone?”
I couldn’t help but laugh. He had described my new neighborhood exactly. I was terrified to live there and really hoped I wouldn’t have to stay for very long. Luckily the apartment I rented was in a building owned by an elderly couple and the people in my building seemed nice. The problem was coming and going from my building scared me to death.
“Yep, that’s the right neighborhood,” I said as the elevator opened I turned right toward the subway station. “See you tomorrow.”
There was no way I wanted to continue our conversation. I felt an unstoppable urge to wrap my arms around him and kiss him. Yet he didn’t even remember who I was. I felt like I was only moments away from making a total fool of myself and I couldn’t risk that. Nothing about the current situation was good. But the fact that I hadn’t embarrassed myself by kissing Matthew was at least a decent start.
This was going to be a really long year of working with Senator Storm. I couldn’t think of anything worse than having to work with him and he didn’t even remember me. He certainly wasn’t going to remember anything good I did around the office. Or remember any details to give me a letter of recommendation.
“Where are you going, Kayla?”
“To the train.”
“Come this way. I can’t let you take the train to that neighborhood at this hour.”
I hesitated for a minute but then followed him out the other side of the building. While we were walking, I played the conversation back in my mind. He called my Kayla instead of Michaela, he knew who I was. There was no way he didn’t. Even if he was a womanizing jerk, he couldn’t have forgotten me already. But why was he acting like he didn’t know me at all?
I didn’t know what kind of game he was playing and I was exhausted and didn’t really care about his games anyways. I just wanted to make it to my apartment and crawl onto my mattress on the floor. Then I wanted to sleep all night long without hearing any gunshots in my neighborhood. It was a simple idea, but none of it would happen until I got my butt home soon.
We walked into the parking garage and I followed a few steps behind him as we made our way to his car. It was a black BMW with black leather inside. It seemed perfectly suited for Matthew.
He opened my door for me and let me inside. It was a chivalrous thing to do considering he was pretending like he didn’t know me at all. It was driving me crazy.
I wanted to scream at him. To yell and call him names for pretending like he didn’t know me. It was crazy. Why would a grown man act like that? I didn’t know, but I could hardly hold in my anger anymore.
When we started to pull out of the parking garage, I was just about to say something when his hand reached over and he rubbed my thigh.
What was going on?
I felt like I was going crazy. He ignored me all afternoon and then suddenly Matthew is getting all handsy with me. I couldn’t take it anymore.
“What are you doing?” I blurted out.
“Touching your deliciously smooth thigh.”
“What the hell? You pretended not to know who I was?”
Matthew just smiled at me and moved his hand back to the wheel. He continued to drive and totally ignored me and how angry I was. So of course, I continued on with my angry rant.
“Matthew, I didn’t know who you were that night. But when I saw who you were I left, I’m sorry about that. But seriously you just made me feel stupid like you actually didn’t remember me. That was totally uncalled for. What was I supposed to think?”
Suddenly Matthew pulled the car over into an empty parking meter. The move was sudden and caught me off guard. He jerked the car into park and grabbed my face and kissed me hard.
His kiss had more passion in it than I had anticipated. He wanted me. The way his mouth moved around mine I felt his desire. As much as I wanted to continue to argue with him, I couldn’t argue while my body gave in and I took his tongue deep into my mouth.
I turned my body toward him and moved in closer as I felt his hand on my thigh again. It was crazy to think that he had ignored me all afternoon, but I was willing to sit and kiss him in his car. There was no logic to it, I just felt good when he touched me.
My whole body wanted him and I couldn’t help but sink into his kiss. More, I wanted more and more from him. If he had taken me to a bed at that very moment, I would have given in to him. There was a power between us that I couldn’t stop. No amount of anger was capable of stopping the electricity between us.
“I can’t be seen fraternizing with an employee. I’m sorry I was so standoffish at the office,” Matthew said as he finally pulled away from my lips.
“So you knew who I was?” I said with a smile.
“Fuck I saw your ass bent over in my office and it took every last bit of my self-control not to bend you over my desk and fuck you right there.”
I smiled at the thought of him fucking me in his office. I knew it was wrong, but the idea still seemed so right. Suddenly what I thought was going to be a hard year of working with Matthew, now looked extremely promising.
“You should have,” I said as we looked at each other.
Both of us had this look of desire in our eyes. I wasn’t exactly sure how he had hidden it from me so well when we saw each other in his office, but he certainly wasn’t hiding it now.
“Yes, I should have,” Matthew said as his fingers traced their way up and down my inner thigh.
“Doesn’t your door have a lock?”
“Hmmm, I’m not sure. If it doesn’t, I’m going to make sure and get one added right away.”
“I could always pretend like we don’t know each other. I wouldn’t want you to get in trouble at work.”
“We will have to act like we don’t know each other at all. There is no way I would be talking to a first-year aid very much. Typically I just work with Alex and he directs everyone else on what needs to be done.”
“Ok.”
“Why didn’t you tell me you were going to be working for me?”
There it was. The big questions.
“I didn’t know you were you.”
Matthew looked at me with a silly smile on his face. I knew it was hard to believe that I didn’t know who he was that night when we first met, but I genuinely didn’t know. Seeing someone in person as compared to television or print was just totally different. Plus I was drunk when we first met on the dark streets of Chicago.
“So you applied to work for me, but then when you met me you didn’t know who I was?”
Ugh, I knew he wasn’t going to believe me. I hated looking like I was some sort of stalker or something like that.
“If you remember right, I was drunk and you rescued me.”
“Oh, I remember every last detail of that night,” Matthew let his fingers slide up to my panties and rubbed me as he continued to talk. “I remember your moans, your taste, your touch.”
My face was bright red as I tried not to get embarrassed as he looked at me. His gaze was intense. More than I could handle and my body got wet with desire.
“We should get going. My neighborhood gets more and more dangerous as the night goes on.”
It was the truth and if I was going to make it to my apartment without too much commotion, then I really did need to get to the park n’ ride where my car was.
“Yes, we better get you to your car.”
It was only a few minutes’ drive away, but Matthew seemed to be taking every wrong turn possible. It dawned on me that he probably didn’t do much driving while he was in Washington D.C. He probably just drove to the capital and then back to his place each day.
When we finally pulled into the park n’ ride, the place was almost totally deserted. I pointed out my car and Matthew drove up and parked next to it. I was about to get out when Matthew’s hand returned to my thigh.
“I really should get going,” I said as I looked out into the dark night air.
“I’ll take you home.”
“No. I have my car right here,” I said as I totally missed the fact that he probably wanted to take me home and stay there with me.
“Then I’ll take you here.”
Matthew leaned in and kissed me hard as his hand moved up my thigh and right under my panties. I was caught off guard and it took me a moment to figure out what he had said. “Take you here?” Did he mean he wanted to fuck right there in the parking lot? Oh, I couldn’t do that.
“I should get going,” I said as I moved my lips away from his.
He moved his lips to my neck and then down and pulled out my nipple. The hard sucking motion he made had my whole body wet with desire and I couldn’t help but consider inviting him home with me.
The main thing that kept getting me to say no was just how horrible my apartment was. It was only a one room apartment and I didn’t have any furniture and my mattress was on the ground. I didn’t want anyone to see how I was living and certainly not Matthew.
My problem was I also really wanted to feel the pleasure of Matthew and it was getting harder and harder to resist him. Maybe we could just mess around for a little bit longer, I thought as we continued to kiss.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him toward me. Letting him know that I wanted him as close to me as possible. Our lips touched each other gently and then we would move hard against each other. We alternated in our search for the perfect feeling.
His fingers moved up my thigh and I found myself opened up to him.
“You won’t be needing these,” he said as he pulled my panties off and threw them into his back seat.
“Matthew!”
I turned to go grab them but couldn’t reach that far back.
“Should we go back there?” He said with a mischievous smile.
For someone who was deathly afraid of getting caught in his office with me, he certainly didn’t have any fear of getting caught having sex in public.
“No!” I said as I turned and kissed him again. “We aren’t going into the back seat.”
“Alright. Then I’ll just make you cum right there.”
His eyes looked down at my skirt and my legs. They were spread apart with his hand all the way up my skirt. I knew what he was about to do. I should have protested, but I didn’t.
I held onto his head as we kissed and I let my fingers move through his hair. It felt good to have a little control over him, but I knew it wasn’t going to last for very long.
Soon his fingers had total control over me.
As he thrust two inside of me, I moaned out in pleasure. Instinctively I looked around the parking lot to make sure there was no one else coming. When I was assured that the lot was still empty, I closed my eyes again.
The rhythm of his movement had my body soaking wet. I felt the wetness as I dripped on the leather seat, but I couldn’t stop myself. I thrust hard against him and tried to figure out a way that I could have him right there in the car.
No longer did I care about the parking lot. The more he moved his fingers, the more I wanted to feel his body inside of mine.
I moaned out again, but this time Matthew quieted me by kissing me with such passion that I could hardly breathe. More and more he gave me until my legs shook with ecstasy.
“Yes…yes…yes,” I screamed out as I finally climaxed against him.
Matthew just smiled and looked down at me with satisfaction in his eyes. He seemed utterly delighted that I had cum for him in his car. I knew if I had said yes to him coming to my apartment, we would have spent the whole night making love; but honestly I did want to sleep.
My chest heaved as I tried to catch my breath.
“You sure you don’t want me to come over?” He asked.
Was it horrible that I just wanted to sleep? Especially after having just used up my energy with that orgasm.
I was exhausted from my travels and my first day at work. The emotional turmoil of seeing Matthew there certainly didn’t help either. I absolutely couldn’t invite him up.
“I can’t. I need to sleep.”
Matthew let out a long breath and then kissed me roughly. He was not happy with my answer. I could tell he wanted his way with me.
I kissed him back, put my pants back on and then opened the car door to leave.
My legs were still weak with desire as I walked to my car. Matthew stayed there next to my car for a moment and waited until I was all the way inside my car.
I looked at him and was going to wave goodbye, but he was already gone. No ‘goodbye’. No ‘I’ll see you tomorrow’. He just left.
For as much as he was worried about me and my neighborhood, he didn’t seem to be all that worried when I decided he couldn’t come home with me. Instead, he left as quickly as possible without even a goodbye.
