Wedding Night-Siobhan and Marcus
Siobhan couldn’t stop smiling.
The door to their suite closed behind them with a soft click, and suddenly the noise of the celebration—the music, the laughter, the endless well-wishes—faded into blessed silence. She turned to face Marcus, her new mate, her husband, and felt Enya surge forward with pure, unfiltered joy.OURS, the she-wolf sang. FINALLY OURS. MARKED. MATED. HOME.
Marcus was watching her with an expression that made her heart skip—wonder and desire and something deeper, something that made her feel like the most precious thing in the world. “Hi,” she said, suddenly shy despite the fact that they’d been together all evening. “Hi.” His voice was rough, and she could see Aspen in his eyes—the wolf’s fierce devotion layered beneath Marcus’s human restraint.
Siobhan took a step toward him, then another, until she was close enough to touch. She reached up and traced the fresh mark on his neck—the bite she’d given him during the ceremony, the symbol of their eternal bond. Marcus shuddered under her touch, and she felt his body respond—felt the heat radiating from his skin, the way his muscles tensed beneath her fingertips.
“I’ve been thinking about this moment since I was fourteen,” Siobhan admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. “I used to imagine what my wedding night would be like. Who my mate would be. What it would feel like to finally be his.” She paused, her cheeks flushing. “But now that we’re here, I’m... I’m nervous.”
“And?” Marcus’s hands rested on her waist, gentle but possessive. “Does reality live up to the fantasy?” Siobhan laughed, the sound a little breathless. “Reality is so much better. And so much scarier.”YES, Enya agreed with absolute certainty. Aspen is PERFECT. Strong. Loyal. OURS. But we don’t know what to DO.
Through the mate bond, Siobhan felt Aspen’s response—a wave of fierce protectiveness and devotion so intense it made her breath catch. Our mate, Aspen declared. Our Enya. Our Siobhan. OURS to protect. OURS to cherish. OURS to teach. She doesn’t need to know anything. We’ll show her everything.
Marcus pulled her closer, his forehead resting against hers. “I’m going to spend the rest of my life making sure you never regret choosing me.” “I could never regret you.” Siobhan’s hands slid up his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath her palms—and the hard planes of muscle, the warmth of his skin through the thin fabric of his shirt. “You’re my fated mate. The moon goddess chose you for me.”
“The moon goddess has excellent taste.”
Siobhan laughed again, and then Marcus was kissing her—slow and deep and full of promise. The mate bond flared between them, amplifying every sensation, every emotion, until Siobhan felt like she was drowning in the best possible way.
Want him, Enya whispered, her voice thick with need. Want our mate. Want to be CLOSE. But scared. What if we do it wrong? We won’t, Siobhan promised, though her own heart was racing. We’ll figure it out together.
When they finally pulled apart, both breathing hard, Marcus’s eyes had darkened with desire. Siobhan could feel the evidence of his arousal pressing against her hip, and the knowledge that she’d done that to him—that he wanted her that much—sent a thrill through her entire body. “Siobhan,” he said carefully, his voice strained, “we don’t have to—I mean, if you’re not ready..”
“I’m ready.” She cut him off, her voice firm despite the trembling in her hands. “I’ve been ready since the moment the mate bond snapped. I want this. I want you.” She bit her lip. “I just... I don’t really know what I’m doing.” Marcus’s expression softened. “You don’t have to know anything. I’ll show you. We’ll learn together.”“But you’ve—” Siobhan stopped, suddenly uncertain. “You’ve done this before, right?”
“Once. A long time ago, before I knew about fated mates.” Marcus cupped her face gently. “But this? With you? This is different. This is everything. And I promise you, Siobhan—you could do absolutely nothing, and I’d still be the luckiest man alive.”
“I want to do more than nothing,” she said, her voice small. “I want to make you feel good. I just... what if I’m not good at it?” “You will be.” Marcus’s thumb traced her lower lip. “Because you’re mine. Because the mate bond means we’re made for each other. Your touch is the only one that matters to me.”
Siobhan felt some of her nervousness ease. “Okay. So... help me with this?” She reached for the zipper of her wedding dress, but her hands were shaking so badly she couldn’t quite grasp it. Marcus’s hands covered hers, steadying them. “Let me.”
His fingers were gentle as he slowly lowered the zipper, his touch reverent as each layer of fabric fell away. Siobhan felt exposed under his gaze—vulnerable in a way she’d never been before—but also beautiful.
When she stood before him in nothing but the delicate white lingerie she’d chosen for this night, Marcus looked at her like she was the moon itself—something sacred and precious and worth worshipping. “You’re so beautiful,” he said, his voice rough with emotion. “So perfect.”
Siobhan’s confidence grew a little. “Your turn.” She reached for his shirt, her fingers fumbling with the buttons. “I’m sorry, I’m—” “You’re perfect,” Marcus said again, covering her hands with his. “Here. Let me help.”
Together, they worked the buttons free, and Siobhan pushed the shirt off his shoulders. Her breath caught at the sight of him—all hard muscle and golden skin, the mark she’d given him standing out proudly on his neck. “Can I—” She reached out tentatively, then pulled back. “Is it okay if I touch you?” “Siobhan.” Marcus’s voice was strained. “You can do anything you want to me. Anything. I’m yours.”
Siobhan placed her hands on his chest, feeling his heart racing beneath her palms. She explored slowly, learning the contours of his body—the ridges of muscle, the warmth of his skin, the way he shuddered when her fingers traced lower. “Am I doing this right?” she asked, her voice uncertain. “God, yes.” Marcus’s hands came to rest on her hips, his grip tightening. “You’re doing everything right.”
Emboldened, Siobhan let her hands wander lower, to the waistband of his pants. She could see the evidence of his arousal straining against the fabric, and the knowledge that she’d done that—that he wanted her that much—made her feel powerful. “Can I—” She looked up at him, her cheeks flushed. “I want to see you. All of you.” Marcus groaned. “You’re going to kill me.” “Is that a yes?” She asked.
“That’s a ‘please, for the love of the moon goddess, yes.’”
Siobhan laughed, some of her nervousness dissolving into excitement. She worked at his belt, her fingers clumsy but determined. When she finally got his pants open and pushed them down, she couldn’t help but stare.
He was... impressive. And clearly very, very aroused.
“Oh,” she breathed. “That’s... wow.” Marcus’s laugh was strained. “Is that a good ‘wow’ or a terrified ‘wow’?” “Both?” Siobhan admitted. “I mean, you’re... and I’m...” She gestured vaguely. “What if it doesn’t fit?” “It will fit.” Marcus pulled her close, his hands sliding up her back. “I promise. The mate bond makes sure of it. But we’re going to take this slow, okay? I’m going to make sure you’re ready.”
“How do you make sure I’m ready?”
Marcus’s eyes darkened. “Let me show you.”
He lifted her into his arms—she let out a surprised laugh—and carried her to the bed. He laid her down gently, then followed her down, his body covering hers in a way that felt protective and possessive and exactly right. “I love you,” he said, his eyes locked on hers. “I’m going to love you for the rest of our lives.” “I love you too.” Siobhan pulled him down for a kiss. “Now show me. Teach me. I want to learn everything.”
Through the mate bond, she felt Aspen’s approval—and then Marcus was kissing her again, deeper this time, his tongue exploring her mouth in a way that made her entire body heat.
His hands moved to her lingerie, and he paused. “Can I take this off?”
“Yes,” Siobhan breathed. “Please.”
He removed the delicate fabric slowly, reverently, until she was completely bare beneath him. Siobhan fought the urge to cover herself, to hide from his intense gaze. “Don’t,” Marcus said softly, as if reading her mind. “Don’t hide from me. You’re perfect.”
“I don’t feel perfect,” she admitted. “I feel nervous and inexperienced and—” “And absolutely stunning.” Marcus’s hand traced down her side, making her shiver. “And mine. And about to learn exactly how much I want you.”
His hand moved lower, between her thighs, and Siobhan gasped at the first touch. She was already wet—embarrassingly so—and Marcus groaned when he felt it. “See?” he murmured against her neck. “Your body knows exactly what it wants. You’re already ready for me.” “That’s—oh—” Siobhan’s words dissolved into a moan as his fingers moved in slow, deliberate circles. “That feels—”
“Good?”
“Really good.” She arched into his touch, her nervousness giving way to pure sensation. “Don’t stop.” “I won’t.” Marcus kissed down her neck, her collarbone, lower. “I’m going to make you feel so good, Siobhan. I’m going to worship every inch of you.”
Marcus’s mouth found her breast, and Siobhan cried out at the sensation—his tongue, his teeth, the way he sucked gently while his fingers continued their maddening rhythm between her legs. “Marcus,” she gasped. “I think—I think something’s happening—” “Let it happen,” he murmured against her skin. “Let go. I’ve got you.”
The pleasure built and built until Siobhan thought she might shatter from it. And then she did—crying out as her first orgasm crashed over her, her body arching off the bed, her hands fisting in the sheets.
When she came back to herself, Marcus was watching her with an expression of pure male satisfaction. “That was—” Siobhan couldn’t find words. “I didn’t know it could feel like that.” “That was just the beginning.” Marcus kissed her softly. “Are you ready for more?”
“Yes.” Siobhan reached for him, her confidence growing. “But I want—can I touch you? Like you touched me?” Marcus groaned. “You don’t have to—” “I want to.” Siobhan pushed him onto his back, straddling his thighs. “I want to make you feel good too. Will you show me how?”
Marcus guided her hand to his length, showing her how to stroke, how much pressure to use. Siobhan watched his face as she learned—watched the way his jaw clenched, the way his eyes darkened, the way his breathing became ragged. “Am I doing it right?” she asked, her voice breathless.
“God, yes.” Marcus’s hips jerked into her touch. “You’re perfect. You’re—Siobhan, you need to stop, or this is going to be over before it starts.” “I don’t want to stop,” she said, feeling powerful and desired and completely in control. “I like watching you. I like knowing I can make you feel this way.”
“You’re going to be the death of me.” Marcus pulled her hand away gently, then flipped their positions so she was beneath him again. “But right now, I need to be inside you. I need to claim you properly. Are you ready?” Siobhan felt a flutter of nervousness return, but desire overwhelmed it. “Yes. I’m ready.”
Marcus positioned himself between her thighs, the head of his length pressing against her entrance. “This might hurt at first,” he warned. “But I promise it gets better. And if you need me to stop—” “I won’t need you to stop.” Siobhan pulled him down for a kiss. “I trust you. I want this. I want you.”
There was a moment of pressure, of stretching, of sharp discomfort—and then he was fully seated inside her, and Siobhan felt complete in a way she’d never imagined possible. “Okay?” Marcus asked, his voice strained with the effort of holding still. “Okay,” Siobhan breathed. “More than okay. You can—you can move.”
Marcus began to move slowly, carefully, letting her body adjust to the intrusion. And as he did, the discomfort faded, replaced by pleasure—deep, overwhelming pleasure that built with every thrust. Siobhan wrapped her legs around Marcus’s waist, pulling him deeper, meeting his thrusts with her own. The nervousness was gone now, replaced by pure instinct—the knowledge that this was right, that they were made for this, made for each other.
“Marcus,” she gasped. “I think—it’s happening again—” “Let go,” he commanded, his voice rough. “Come for me, Siobhan. Let me feel you.” And she did—crying out as pleasure crashed over her, even more intense than before. Through the mate bond, she felt Marcus’s release, felt him spill inside her as he groaned her name.
They collapsed together, both breathing hard, their bodies still joined. Siobhan felt tears on her cheeks—not from pain or fear, but from overwhelming joy. “That was—” She couldn’t find words. “Perfect,” Marcus finished, kissing her softly. “You were perfect.”
“I was so nervous,” Siobhan admitted. “I thought I’d do something wrong.” “You could never do anything wrong.” Marcus pulled her close, their bodies still intimately connected. “You’re my mate. Everything you do is perfect.”
Siobhan smiled, feeling complete, loved, and absolutely cherished. “Can we do that again?” Marcus laughed, the sound full of joy and promise. “We have the rest of our lives to do that again. But yes. Definitely yes.”
As they came together again—slower this time, more confident, learning each other’s bodies with growing expertise—Siobhan realized something important. This was what she’d been waiting for.
This was home.
