Anyways—welcome to "No Permission"
This story is about a very weird character—and this is probably the most bizarre cast I've ever written. I can't wait for you guys to meet everyone, and trust me, this time there is no fucking slow burn.
In fact, there won't be any brakes at all.
You'll get dropped off right in the middle of everything, while learning to understand the world through Kayden's eyes.
I hope you'll enjoy him as much as I will enjoy writing this. Doing men's perspectives is very fun to me. I'm also kinda glad I've already written from the perspective of a sociopathic male serial killer—not because that's remotely comparable to autism, jeez—but because I've had some practice writing a brain that operates very differently from mine.
Kayden is delicate territory, though, and I hope I portray his autism with the care and accuracy he deserves.
