Summary

Can there be really someone who can love you even after you push them away not once, not twice but each and every time? Yessssss. There is and there will be someone choosing you over and over again each time, but sadly they exist in books. So this book is about a second chance,a bit of drama, and a lot of romance. I don't write dark romance but it's a slow burn. I hope you enjoy this story about the journey of Neera Yadav and Sergino Orsini.

Eyes

I was sitting in the concourse, I wasn't waiting for someone nor do I was directionless but the pain, the throbbing pain in my chest it was there, preventing me from taking any step further.I was here , in my dream country, ITALY. The one dream for which I waited three years proved myself through boards, through my bachelor's degree but still the conservative mindset never leaves my parents but now as I am finally here why it pains now.

Tears brimmed in my eyes, my eyelids heavy with resentment I didn't realise when tears started flowing down my cheeks , I missed them ,my father who never let me go out on my own didn't even came to bid me goodbye, was it really my fault? To dream? To desire?I was lost, I felt pathetic , I wiped my tears harshly which made my wheatish skin red. My legs felt weak and these stupid tears never stopped as i again tried wiping them a hand appeared offering me tissue paper.

I didn't look up no I couldn't, I grabbed the tissue paper and wiped my tears. He sat beside me and I shifted away from him I don't know why I did that but closeness of unknown people suffocates me .I was quite now , the pain was replaced by something else ,a feeling which doesn't suffocates me, doesn't cage me.

I felt his gaze on my right side, "c'è qualche problema, signorina?"He said something in Italian I could only make out signorina(miss). I didn't reply him sensing my incomprehended state he switched to english , "Is there a problem Miss?" he asked in his hoarse voice yet soft voice , or should I say tried speaking softly.

I shook my head in no, "I think this is your first time here." he remarked and I nodded.

"Thank you-" I was cut off mid sentenced when I saw his eyes reflection on my mirror bracelet. His icy grey eyes, they were so beautiful, eyes i had only read in books, they held intensity, a passion of claiming what was his.Though he spoke less, but his eyes said volumes. As I raised my head to take in his face . "NEERA YADAV" a voice echoed in the concourse I turned my head to my left and there was the cab driver , I booked.

As I stood takking my luggage and turned to right , the man was gone , i looked around but as if he vanished in thin air , the cab driver took my luggage and drove to the location I provided him, all through the ride I could only think of him. Mr icy grey eyes. I didn't realise when I drifted to sleep but it was already evening when I reached my place.

I stood in front of an apartment, I got this from my scholarship.

People looked at me and gathered around me asking me questions. They were really kind , an old lady, weary eyes , yet elegance in her walk with measured steps approached me ,"cara(darling),you are new here but please take care of yourself and beware of your surroundings. If you need any help you can ask me." She patted my cheeks just like my mother and for a while I melted in her touch . How come someone else touch is so soothing.

I came into my room and changed in my home clothes , I was hungry but well too tired to make something as I opened my bag I found different snacks and preserved food i know who kept it . My mumma. Tears again blurred my vision I miss her . I called her it was 8 pm here so it would be around 11:30 there , mumma picked my call and bombarded me with questions. We talked for 15 minutes.

Appa(dad) didn't talked me .I made myself a cup of tea because as an Indian no matter where you go a cup of tea fixes it all .

I sat in my balcony. First time I'm having a balcony so beautiful, my surroundings was beautiful and peaceful .people walked their dogs home, some heading home from office as I was busy taking in the views and capturing them.I felt something, a feeling of being watched . But I ignored it isn't like someone got obsessed with me and he is stalking me it's all because of my dark romance obsessive soul is taking over me. I disregarded it and went inside as I lay on my bed , I was again remembered of those icy grey eyes. Huh! Mr beautiful eyes.

I rubbed my face to dismiss thinking of those eyes when I realised my mirror bracelet."where is it?when did I took it off?"ohh nii what did you do ?"It was the last gift I had of him.

Why am I so careless?I cried my heart out and didn't realise when sleep took over me.
