Summary

Amara Grey thought the secrets were finally over. The Circle had fallen. Gideon was behind bars. Her family had survived. But when a photograph from 1952 reveals that Gideon was never the beginning, Amara is pulled into a mystery far older than the organization she thought she understood. Beneath the old Grey property lies the First House—a hidden world filled with forgotten records, buried memories, ancient symbols, and a door that existed long before the Grey family. As Amara searches for the truth, she discovers that her childhood memories were deliberately changed, Noah was connected to her long before they remembered meeting, and her sister Elara holds memories of a secret that could change everything. Then the past returns. Marcus Vale’s hidden recordings reveal another layer of the conspiracy. Jonas Vale emerges as the last Keeper of the Origin. Lydia Grey returns with a devastating secret. And Hope, the mysterious girl who first appeared at the garage, may be connected to the First Door in a way no one expected. Amara thought she was searching for the first Grey. Instead, she is about to discover what existed before the Greys ever had a name. The door has opened. And something has been waiting behind it.

Chapter One: The Photograph from 1952

Three months had passed since the Archive opened.

Amara Grey had almost convinced herself that the nightmare was finally over.

The Circle had fallen.

The Watchers had been exposed.

Gideon was behind bars.

Her family was together.

For the first time in years, the old garage felt like a home instead of a crime scene.

Then Adrian walked through the door.

He didn't say hello.

He didn't even take off his coat.

He simply placed a photograph on the workbench.

Amara stared at it.

Four men stood outside an old stone building.

One was Gideon.

The second was Gabriel.

The third was Elias.

And the fourth man...

Amara's breath stopped.

She had never seen him before.

But there was something familiar about his face.

Something unsettling.

Noah stepped closer.

"What's the date?"

Adrian turned the photograph over.

1952.

Beneath the date was a single sentence.

THE FIRST GREY WAS HERE.

Lena frowned.

"First Grey?"

Elias had gone completely silent.

Amara looked at him.

"Dad?"

Elias didn't answer.

Instead, he looked at the wrench lying beside the photograph.

The strange symbol carved into its metal had begun glowing again.

Mara's voice suddenly came from the doorway.

"Now you understand why I came."

Everyone turned.

Mara looked directly at Amara.

"The man in that photograph isn't the person you should be afraid of."

She pointed toward the wrench.

"You should be afraid of the door it opens."
