Chapter 1 THE HUMAN CLEANER
CHAPTER 1: THE HUMAN CLEANER
Every girl in Nightfall Pack wanted to work in the Alpha mansion. Every girl except me.
Because every girl in Nightfall was a wolf. I was the only human.
"Human! You are late!" Beta shouted.
I ran with my mop bucket. My mother died last year, my father sold me to the pack to pay debt. Now I clean the floors the wolves dirty with their big boots.
The mansion was dark. Too quiet. Today was Alpha's ceremony — everyone was supposed to be at the temple.
"Hello?" I whispered. "I came to clean..."
Then I smelled it. Blood. And something else. Like storm and cinnamon.
I pushed open the Alpha bedroom door.
And saw them.
Two men. Identical. Same tall body, same black hair, same gold eyes that glowed. Both shirtless, both bleeding from a fight with each other.
They both looked at me at the same time. And their gold eyes turned bright, brighter than moon.
"MINE," they growled together.
I dropped my bucket.
"Wh-what?" I stepped back. My back hit the wall.
The one on the left — scar on his lip — walked to me slowly. "You smell like... mate."
The one on the right — calmer, but eyes just as wild — sniffed the air. "Impossible. She is human. Humans don't have mates."
"Then why is my wolf screaming?" the scarred one asked, his hand now on the wall beside my head. He didn't touch me, but his heat was everywhere. "What's your name, little human?"
"Mi-Mira," I whispered. "Mira Ojo. The cleaner. I... I should go..."
"You are not going anywhere," Scar said. "Not when we just found you."
The other twin grabbed his brother's shoulder. "Aiden, don't scare her. Can't you see she is human? Fragile."
Aiden — the scarred one — laughed, but his eyes never left mine. "Fragile. Yes. Ours to protect. Ours to share."
"Ours?" The other twin frowned. "Ethan, we don't share."
Ethan — the calm one — looked at me like I was something holy. "We might have to. Because if she is our mate... she belongs to both of us."
My knees were shaking. I had read about mates in old pack books. One wolf, one mate, forever. But twins sharing ONE human mate? That never happened. That was forbidden.
"Please," I whispered. "I am just human. I don't even have a wolf..."
Aiden finally touched me — just one finger under my chin, lifting my face. His touch burned.
"Exactly," he whispered. "That's why you need two Alphas to keep you alive tonight. Because the whole pack just smelled that we found our mate. And they are coming."
From outside, I heard it. Wolves howling. Coming to the mansion. Coming for me.

ooo good start, i'm already team Ethan
It's interesting! I love the length and I love how the characters already have personalities!
