Summary

Some people are born knowing exactly where they belong. She wasn’t one of them. She grew up learning how to survive expectations, uncertainty, loneliness, and the quiet pressure to become someone the world would understand. Somewhere along the way, she began writing a list—not of things she wanted to own, but of things she wanted to become. A career that meant something. A chance to study beyond the boundaries of home. A life she could call her own. Stories she wanted to create. Places she wanted to see. And perhaps, someday, someone she could genuinely connect with. But life rarely follows a carefully written list. Between social work, research, dreams of a future abroad, family, friendships, changing identities, and the strange loneliness of growing into yourself, she begins to realize that becoming an adult isn't about having all the answers. Sometimes it is about continuing to walk even when you don't know where the road ends. This is not a story about a perfect girl who gets everything she wants. It is about an ordinary girl with extraordinary dreams, learning to choose herself without losing the people she loves. A story about ambition, loneliness, friendship, identity, hope, and the courage to begin again. Because sometimes the life you are searching for isn't waiting at the end of the list. Sometimes, you have to become the person who writes a new one.

Chapter 1 - "THE LIST"

She had never been good at knowing what came next.

Other people seemed to have maps.

They knew what they wanted to study, where they wanted to work, who they wanted to love, when they wanted to settle down, and what their lives were supposed to look like.

She had questions.

Too many of them.

So one evening, instead of trying to answer them, she took a blank page and wrote a heading at the top.

**THE LIST.**

Underneath it, she began writing.

*Finish my studies.*

*Do something meaningful.*

*Work with people.*

*Study abroad.*

*See places I've only seen on a screen.*

*Create something that belongs to me.*

*Become independent.*

She paused.....

The next one took longer.....

*Find out who I really am.*

She stared at the sentence for a while before continuing.

There were things she couldn't write so easily.

Love, for example.

Everyone seemed to talk about it as if it were something inevitable—

as if one day the right person would arrive and suddenly everything inside her would make sense.

But she had never understood that feeling.

Maybe she would someday.

Maybe she wouldn't.

For now, she didn't want to force herself into a story simply because everyone else was reading it.

She wanted a life first.

A life that felt like hers.

She looked at the growing list.

It wasn't a perfect plan. It wasn't even close.

It was just proof that somewhere inside her, beneath all the uncertainty, there was still a girl who believed her life could become something more.

She picked up her pen again.

At the bottom of the page, she drew a

tiny arrow.

Then another.

And beneath them, she wrote:

**One goal. One arrow.**

She didn't know where the arrow would take her.

She only knew she had to shoot it.

Because staying still had started to hurt more than being afraid of what came next.
