# Luest N'ot Generic — Chapter 1: Junior High Frie
Everything began just like any other day. The morning sky looked peaceful as two teenagers walked down the sidewalk, laughing and chatting animatedly: Urama Ara and his friend, Akenia.
"Hurry up, dummy!" Akenia shouted with a mischievous grin, giving Urama’s backpack a sudden tug.
"You’re the one who overslept!" he complained in response. "I’ve been awake since six in the morning."
"Sure, you were probably training to become the most boring guy in class."
The two of them dashed into the junior high school right before the gates slammed shut. Once inside the classroom, Urama slumped into his seat, positioning himself right in front of his best friend, Duck Chain, who already wore an expression of absolute boredom toward the upcoming lecture. Meanwhile, Akenia walked toward the back of the room to sit next to Kurohime, another very close friend of theirs.
The moment the teacher turned around to write on the blackboard, Duck leaned forward, whispering into his friend’s ear.
"Did you do the homework?"
"What homework?" Urama replied, turning his head slightly.
"Yesterday's, man! I told you to do it."
Urama let out a heavy sigh, internally cursing his terrible memory as he realized he had completely forgotten about it again. In a serious tone, he shot back:
"And assuming you’re asking me... you didn't do it either, did you?"
"Exactly! You guessed it, bro," Duck replied with his typical, carefree spark.
"I didn't guess. I just predicted the obvious."
The school hours flew by. From across the room, Urama noticed that Akenia, as usual, spent the entire time whispering with Kurohime instead of paying the slightest bit of attention to the teacher.
When the bell announced recess, the four friends headed out to the courtyard together. However, after a few minutes, Duck ended up splitting from the group to go his own way, and Kurohime did the same shortly after, leaving Urama and Akenia alone once again. They ended up sharing the same juice box, since Urama had forgotten to bring any money... or perhaps, his pockets were simply empty.
As they walked, Akenia pulled out her phone to check social media. She stumbled upon a recent news report about a tragic fire at a local shop, where a teenage girl had reportedly passed away after being trapped inside. The atmosphere grew heavy for a second, but Akenia quickly shut off her screen to avoid getting caught by the teachers.
Recess ended, and the rest of the classes went by with total tranquility until, finally, the dismissal bell rang.
Duck was the first to vanish, darting out of the classroom without waiting for anyone. Kurohime and Akenia walked together toward the main exit, while Urama purposely lagged behind, wanting to leave by himself so he could get home quickly. However, Akenia noticed his escape attempt immediately; she quickly said goodbye to Kurohime and ran after him, catching up in just a few strides.
"Hey, Ara! Can we go to a clothing store?" she asked, catching up from behind.
Urama sighed heavily, knowing perfectly well that it was impossible to escape his friend's persistence. With a resigned grimace, he gave a reluctant nod.
"Fine... as long as the place is quiet, I'll go."
Akenia gave a little hop of joy, flashing a wide smile. Without asking permission, she grabbed Urama by the hand and guided him directly toward the nearest clothing store.
After walking for a few minutes, they entered a shop that seemed completely new to the area. Akenia moved without hesitation through the aisles, picking out the best clothing item in sight.
"I’m going to try this on," she said, holding up a T-shirt. "Don't you dare mock me if it looks ugly on me, idiot."
Urama nodded with his usual, bored stare. While standing there waiting, he glanced toward the large window facing the street. For a brief moment, he spotted a small, yellow-headed parrot flying peacefully beneath the sun. The sight brought an odd sense of peace over him, making him smile slightly.
His tranquility was shattered all at once when the fitting room door swung wide open. Akenia stepped out, modeling the shirt and striking an exaggerated pose.
"Well? How do I look?"
"Horrible," Urama replied, his expression unchanging.
Akenia froze in silence for a second, and in the next instant, she smacked him right on the head.
"I told you not to mock me!"
"Ouch!" Urama rubbed the spot where she hit him, complaining. "Fine, alright, it was just a joke... but you didn't have to go that far."
Akenia nodded, satisfied with her minor revenge, and walked quickly to the cash register to pay for her new shirt.
Once outside, the sky was beginning to blend into the colors of dusk. Urama walked in silence while Akenia babbled endlessly about how much she loved her new purchase. The journey went by pleasantly until the girl stopped, realizing she was only a few steps away from her front door.
"Goodbye, Urama!" she called out, waving her hand. "I’ll see you tomorrow, and don't you dare skip class!”
