Chapter one :Bad Friday
It was a gloomy rainy Friday night and the moon was at its peak. A small girl is seen clutching a huge man's pants and sobbing,it seems that Friday was a bad one for her
Her mother had just been laid to rest and her father Mr Ashford is trying to calm her down.
"Flora, I'm sorry for not being there when she needed me the most but I promise I won't leave you again,do you forgive daddy"
"No I don't" she cleans her tears and walked to the Jet black Jeep packed just outside the cemetery and waited for her father to join her in the car.
"Richard start the car" Mr Ashford said to the driver before he started driving.
Meanwhile howling could be heard in a distant, frightening poor Flora.
"It's dark dad, I'm scared"she held her dad tightly
"Don't worry sweetheart we'll soon be home okay"he assured his daughter
"Dad can't you bring mom back?"she asked her dad
"I'm sorry Flora but that I can't do, your mother is resting with the angels in heaven but..... Flora "
"Yes daddy "
Ashford brought out a bracelet that was embedded with crystals and glowing"it's your mothers' and she said I should give it to you but no one must have it"he said as he wore it on her fragile hand.
"But what is it dad"she asked as she kept staring at the bracelet.
"When it's time you'd know its potential"Ashford answered while hugging his daughter and carefully tucking her hair strands back to her hair.
The car jerked once,then again before stopping, the light flickered in the dark rainy empty road before going off.
"Richard what happened?"Ashford asked him
"Don't know sir but let me have a look"Richard said before stepping out to check what happened to the car with something took him away as he screamed.
"Dad what happened, where's Mr Richard,where is he"Flora frightenedly asked while holding her Dad's sleeve
"Don't know but I'll go have a look "he said pulling out his pistol and putting it in his pocket.
"Dad don't leave me, remember you promised not to leave me alone so I'm coming too"Flora said already preparing to come down
"I don't know what's out there so I must go alone"
"No please I'm scared what if you leave and that strange creatures comes back for me"
What she suggested was somewhat right so he agreed and she followed suit.
It was cold in the open forest,just trees and nothing else in sight. Flora's dad yelled Richard's name but no response was heard,his torchlight was becoming dim and he was worried about his daughter when they both heard growling and howling and behold a huge wolf was approaching them and behind it three big wolves with a young pup and the pup was hiding behind its mother's back just as Flora was hiding behind her father.
"Where's my driver, I know you have him so release him "Ashford yelled at the wolves.
"Daddy they can't understand a word you're saying,they are ANIMALS "the moment the word ANIMALS left her mouth,a wolf launched at her and luckily her shot it and it dropped dead and it angered the alpha.
"Flora I need you to run as fast as possible"Ashford told his daughter
"But to where daddy"she asked "Anywhere but here now go"he pushed her and she started running while crying.
Now it turns out Ashford knows the alpha cause the alpha morphed into a human.
"What do you want from me, you and the elders already killed Emilia (Flora's mother)so what else "Ashford yelled at the alpha.
"I want the bracelet of life and death then I shall leave you and your daughter alone "the alpha replied flatly.
"Not on my watch, Emilia knew this day would come when her own pack would turn against her so she instructed me to give the bracelet to our daughter"Ashford told them.
"How dare she, the bracelet belongs to the pack and she stole it"the alpha said while gritting his teeth.
"Liar!..."Ashford yelled "Emilia was the Luna of the bloodhound pack so therefore the bracelet is all right hers"Ashford said codly to the alpha
"You gave the bracelet of life and death to a miniture girl, you've ruined us all, humans have always stopped at nothing to destroy our kind and that foolish Emilia went ahead and married one and also had a child but no problem since you won't give up the bracelet peacefully, I shall have to use force "the alpha signalled one of the wolf to chase flora while he wanted to kill Antonio himself.
"Emilia wanted peace but no -you wild beast wanted her dead all for your selfish needs and now she is dead, you want her only child she has left well I know I won't leave here alive so I'm taking yours with me"Ashford said positioning his pistol firmly to the alpha.The pup whinned and the mother not wanting her husband to die, quickly pushed the alpha and she died after the bullet already injuried the alpha's left eye.with anger, the alpha tore screaming Ashford in shreds and Flora heard as she continued running not stopping.
The brown wolf was still chasing her and finally caught up with her before throwing her off balance making her hit the ground hard, bleeding from her nose and mouth, the wolf about to devour her when the bracelet glowed with ancient power and a crystallic,shadowy like bow and arrow appeared then she picked the arrow and struck the wolf countless times before turning to dust and the bow and arrow returned.
She was drenched, sweating, panting and sobbing and in one night she lost both parents and swore to destroy every monster alive, with that she fainted cause she was weak.
