The quiet room – 1
1. The invitation – Everyone gets a handwritten note: "You left something behind. Come get it". The handwriting matches their own. They all show up.
2. Room Assignments – The rooms are labelled with nicknames no one uses anymore: "Liar", "Shadow", "Echo". No one questions it out.
3. Dinner Rules – The caretaker says: "Eat everything on your plate. We don't waste here". One person can't finish. The lights flicker.
4. The Old Photo – A photo from ten years ago is on the wall. When entering the school, the photo was seen, everyone was visible but now one person is blurred out. Everyone acts like they don't notice.
5. Whisper Game – They play a childhood game where you pass a sentence by whispering. By the end, it's: "It was your fault". No one admits starting it.
6. Missing Keys– The front door locks from the inside. No one has the key. Everyone checks their pockets anyway.
7. The Mirror Hall – Mirrors line the hallway. In one, someone sees themselves ten years oldser. They don't tell the others.
8. Night Shifts – A schedule appears for "Night Watch". Everyone is assigned a two hour slot. Refusing isn't an option.
9. The Diary – A diary is found with entries written in present tense. Today's entry ends with: " They still don't know I heard everything".
10. Lost Time – Between 2:00 and 3:00 AM, no one can account for where they were. The clocks all stopped at 2:00.
11. Confession Booth – An old confession booth is set up. People go in, come out quieter. No one says what they said.
12. The Song – A lullaby plays from an unseen radio. It's the song they sang at the funeral they never talk about.
13. Broken Trust – Two people find identical letters addressed to each other, accusing them of betrayal. Both letters are signed by the third.
14. The Basement Door – Ir opens on its own at night. A cold draft smells like rain and metal. No one checks inside.
15. Role Swap – Everyone wakes up with a note under their pillow: "Be them for a day". They act out someone else's worst habit.
16. The Offer – A voice on the intercom: "One of you can leave now. The rest stay forever". No one moves.
17. Forgotten Face – They try to describe the person who's missing from the photo. Every description is different.
18. The Verdict – A mock trial is held in the dining hall. The charge is never stated. Everyone vote guilty.
19. The Truth - At 2:00 AM, the power dies. In the dark, someone says: "I remember now". The room goes silent.
20. The Quiet Room – The door to room 0 opens. Inside is a recording of their voices from ten years ago, saying: "We promised never to speak of it". The recording ends. The retreat is over. None of them leave together.
