Sovereign of Shadows
In the year 1896, Marienburg Castle located in Hannover, stood high up on the dark and jagged hill. Deep within the gothic heart of the gracious black forest, looming over the landscape like a giant stone crown in the pale moonlight. The weather surrounding the estate was permanently dark and dreadful, perfectly akin to the cold majesty of the towering stone walls and sharp, black Gothic windows, inside of which lived an ancient, aristocratic and wealthy vampire named Count Adrian Alder Karnstein Von Kronenberg. He was a man of striking, chilling elegance; his skin possessed the deathly, translucent pallor of carved marble and his dark eyes held a faint, crimson gleam when caught by the firelight. He carried himself with the absolute, rigid stillness of a statue, observing his domain with calculating hunger.
