Prologue

In a whole different world, away from the earth, there was another earth-like planet.
The name of this planet was Aetheria. Aetheria and earth were both similar, except that on Aetheria there was no climat problem. Nature wasn't dying.
On this planet lived werewolves. In Aetheria there was one kingdom: Aetheria.
Aetheria was ruled by one werewolf king, Alpha king Asher.
Asher had one younger brother, who's name was Cole.
Alpha's have beta's. Alpha king Ashers beta was called Damien.
The kingdom was one pack, with many packs in it. Alpha's who were chosen by Asher himself.
One biggest Alpha was Alpha Kane. He and Asher were very close friends.
Alpha kane's mate was Ivy, who he loves.
Alpha's find usually their mate quickly, otherwise they would lose their minds.
Asher was different, at age twenty-three, he hadn't found his mate yet. That's six years later than usual.
He never stopped searching, but therefore, he became ruthless and cold.
Cole was nineteen and had found his mate one month ago from now. Aisha was his everything. He found her working at a petstore.
One alpha, in the north was also known for being ruthless, cold and had a temper.
His name was alpha Damien.
He mistreated his pack, but on paper, everything was wonderful.
Reality was very different, he had twenty maids in his house and one slave. The slave was called Avery. She was a debt paid by her parents.
Her parents were alcoholists and went to the casino. When alpha Damien came to collect the debt, they gave him their only daughter.
She was traumatised.
Three days before the ball, she would be set free from alpha Damiens wrath.
Avery wanted to survive.
Asher wanted his mate.
He didn't expect anything anymore, he had no hope left that he would find his mate at this mate ball.
The mate ball, is a place where all the packs unmated wolves would go once a year. It was held at the royal palace.
Many found their loved ones, many didn't.
Centuries ago elementals lived on Aetheria with the werewolves.
But because of an unknown reason they all died. Except that isn't comletely true.
In Aetheria there was still one elemental alive.
Fire elementals died.
Water elementals died.
Earth elementals died.
Air elementals died.
But not all air elementals died.
Avery is the last elemental. She controls air.
Avery has been training for years behind alpha Damiens back.
She was handed over when she was seven. She just started learning then.
She continued learning while being with alpha Damien.
Honestly? She could win a fight against alpha Damien.
