Chapter 1 first day of my school
Today I woke up early in the morning because it was the first day at my new school, and I was getting ready. Just then Papa said, “Should I drop you?” I said, “No, I’ll go by myself.” I was my parents’ only daughter. So I got the most love. Whatever I asked for, I got it. But until today, I had never accepted anyone’s proposal.
I was walking towards school when suddenly I heard a voice: “Hey, you’ll be late! Hurry up, come on!” I thought he was talking to someone else, but he held my hand and made me run along with him.
As long as he held my hand, I couldn’t understand anything—what should I do? And I didn’t even realize when I reached school. My attention was on his eyes. After asking, I found my class—10th, English medium.
And the real surprise was when he was in my class too—the same boy who had held my hand. I don’t know why, but I didn’t know him, and he didn’t know me either. Even then, he helped me.
