Obomejero Praise Oghenetekevwe is an experienced and mature Christian who found Christ at an early age. He has followed Christ from his teenage years into adult life. His many years as a born-again Christian serve as a valuable asset and encouragement to the body of Christ.

CHAPTER 1: The Trap of Distraction and Wrong Connections

Life is a game; sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but in all you do, never fall for someone you don't love. Most times, boredom and emotional voids force us into relationships with people we originally don't love, ending in heartbreak. In life, you have to be focused—focused to the point where you aren't easily distracted by anyone, steady in your pursuits, and acting at the right time so you aren't left behind.

At a young age, I began stepping away from my peer group because most of them weren't going the same way in life. Getting disconnected from a person doesn't mean you hate them; it simply shows you aren't on the same lane. You must understand this early and be prepared. There are sacrifices you must make as an individual that determine whether you go far or remain a regular individual.
