Dear Readers,

Welcome to Wrong Number, Dangerous Man.

This story started with a simple question: What if the wrong number turned out to be the right person?

Aria Bennett was only trying to reach someone she trusted when a message sent to an old number brought Massimo Vitale into her life. She had no idea the number no longer belonged to the man she was looking for or that the stranger on the other end would change everything.

What follows is a story filled with danger, secrets, unexpected humour, complicated feelings and a relationship neither of them saw coming.

This is a mafia romance and romantic suspense story with cyber-thriller elements. It contains violence, betrayal, emotional conflict, danger and mature sexual content. Some characters will make choices you agree with; others may make choices that leave you angry, confused or questioning whose side you are on.

And that is exactly how I want it.

I want you to laugh with Aria, get frustrated with Massimo, grow attached to the people around them, question the secrets they keep and hopefully find yourself arguing with the characters as much as they argue with each other.

Most importantly, this is a story about trust and control.

About the difference between protecting someone and possessing them.

And about choosing someone not because you have to, but because you want to.

So settle in, keep your coffee close and be careful whom you trust.

After all… sometimes the wrong number can change everything.

The number is saved in her phone under the name of Elias Voss, a trusted professional contact from her past. She has no reason to believe anything has changed. Instead, a stranger replies. Wrong number. She should apologize, delete the conversation and move on. She doesn’t. Neither does he. Massimo Vitale is not a cybersecurity expert and he certainly isn’t the man Aria meant to reach. He is a powerful businessman and the Don of the Vitale Organization, a criminal empire built on loyalty, power, violence and rules Aria knows nothing about. Aria has problems of her own. Her career was nearly destroyed by a cybersecurity breach she insists she didn’t cause, and the questions she has spent years trying to answer are beginning to surface again. When those questions unexpectedly collide with Massimo’s world, it becomes clear that what happened to her may be connected to something far bigger than either of them first realized. What begins with late-night messages and sarcastic banter soon becomes an unlikely partnership. Aria needs answers and Massimo has resources she can’t access on her own. Somewhere between encrypted files, dangerous secrets, stolen coffee and far too many arguments, the line between working together and wanting each other begins to blur. But Massimo’s world has rules, and Aria has never been particularly good at following them. The closer they get to the truth, the more dangerous their connection becomes and neither of them realizes just how many people have been keeping secrets. Someone is watching. Someone is manipulating the pieces. And someone has already decided Aria knows too much. Because sometimes the stranger on the other end of the phone isn’t a mistake.
