☆ The First Page : Just the Beginning ☆
I was eighteen. Long black hair I never bothered to fix, a school schedule that sucked the life out of me and a routine so boring I could do it blindfolded. Wake up, dread school, survive six hours of bullshit, crawl back home and rot on my bed staring at a screen until I pass out. That was it. Nothing special.

By the time I got home from school and classes, it was already close to 5 pm. I dumped my bag in the corner then headed straight to the shower. For whole 15 minutes or more.. there I was, singing my heart out like I was auditioning for some reality show.
“Please shut up! You’re bleeding our ears!” my little sister yelled from outside the bathroom, like she could do any better. I just laughed and went even higher on the chorus, probably just to spite her.
After finally changing, I flopped onto my bed, hair damp and comfy in my pajamas. My phone instantly found its way into my hand-it always did. TikTok opened on its own like it knew I needed it. I did all that by myself but imma pretend like that just happened automatically.
“Can you bring the clothes in from outside?” Mom shouted from the kitchen.
Why did she have to call me JUST when I flopped down on the bed. I groaned, rolling over like the world had ended. “Ughh can I do it later please?” I yelled back, knowing very well I wouldn’t.
Two minutes later- yup, she called again. And yup, I gave the same answer.
“Ah Mom, I’ll just do it later” I shouted even though we both knew “later” actually meant never until my mom does the work herself with a glare that could burn a hole in my face.
I kept scrolling. TikTok after TikTok: some girl dancing in a perfect kitchen, some couple doing some cutesy thing. I didn’t even really watch them. I just kept swiping out of habit.
Little did I know, while I was lying there ignoring my mom and procrastinating like a pro, he was about to ride straight into my life...The boy behind the helmet.
