Surrender obey survive

The story starts in a small town called Finland. At the Finland airport, about 100 teenagers between the ages of 16 and 19 were traveling on an airplane. They were all orphans. Some had lost their parents in a dangerous accident when they were young, while others had lost their parents for different reasons.

Some of the teenagers who were 18 were going to start a new life, while others were going to live with their new families.

But Leonardo, his sister Hazel, and Scarlett were trying to escape from the city. That was why they had boarded the plane.

Suddenly, the airplane started malfunctioning.

All the students became scared.

Xavier said, "What's happening?"

The pilot replied, "Everyone, calm down."

Scarlett stood up and said to Leonardo, "I need to use the restroom. I'll be right back."

Then she left.

Hazel looked at Leonardo.

"What's going on?"

"I don't know. I'm not the pilot. Everything is going to be alright," Leonardo replied.

Then suddenly, everything went black.

Everyone started panicking. Some were screaming, while others were crying.

A few minutes later, the students blacked out.

When they opened their eyes, they found themselves in an abandoned town.

Each person had their name written on their wrist, along with a different number on their neck.

They felt different and strange.

Everyone was scared, confused, and worried. Some were even crying.

They started looking for the pilot, but he was nowhere to be found.

Even the airplane was missing.

Everyone found it strange.

They began walking around, looking for clues or anything that could help them.

Immediately, the ground opened and separated the children into four equal groups.

Leonardo looked around.

Something about this place felt familiar.

Then suddenly, the ground opened beneath them.

Leonardo watched as his sister Hazel was separated from him.

He still couldn't find Scarlett.

He tried as hard as he could to hold onto Hazel, but they were separated.

All he could do was take a picture of the one she was holding.

It was a picture they had taken together four years ago.

Leonardo and Hazel were orphans, but their lives weren't bad before.

Flashback to four years ago.

When their parents were alive, everything was good. Their mom, Eva, was a scientist, while their father, Mike, was a game developer. Everything was going well until Mr. Ben, their father's former high school friend, came over.

Mr. Ben smiled. "Hey, Mike. How are you doing?"

Mike replied, "I'm doing well. And you?"

Mr. Ben smiled. "I'm alright. Wow, look at you, Mike. You're now a family man."

Eva greeted Mr. Ben as she brought some snacks and drinks for them.

Mike replied, "Well, what can I say? A married man is a happy man."

Then they laughed.

A few minutes later, Hazel and Leonardo came back from school, arguing as always.

Hazel said angrily, "Why did you give him the letter?"

Leon smirked. "Oh."

Hazel stared at him. "Oh? That's all you have to say, Leon?"

Leon replied, "Come on. You like Owen. That kid. I was just trying to help you. You're welcome."

Hazel said, "But he's Jesse's twin brother."

Leon rolled his eyes. "So? I mean, you wrote a lot of letters about him. His flower smell and sweet voice. Gross. Girls are weird. And you're angry because Jesse got 100 and you got 99? Seriously?"

Hazel said, "How can I get 99? How disappointing."

Leon looked at his sister like she was crazy.

As they were still arguing, their father suddenly spoke.

Mike said, "How was school today?"Hazel immediately smiled and went to hug her father.

Hazel replied, "It was great as usual."

Leon said, "You're back early. How was work today?"

Mike said, "That's good. Oh, Ben, this is my children, Leonardo and Hazel."

Leonardo said, "Hello."

Hazel added, "Hi."

Mr. Ben smiled. "Oh, nice to meet you too. Mike, you have such lovely children."

Mike replied, "Thank you."

Leonardo looked around as if he was looking for something.

Mr. Ben asked, "What's the matter, Leonardo?"

Leonardo said, "Nothing. Oh, Dad, is Mom back?"

Mike replied, "Yes, she's in the kitchen."

Leonardo nodded. "Alright. I'll go change."

Hazel smirked. "Aww, someone looks disappointed because Scarlett is not here."

Mike smiled while Leon glared at his sister.

Leonardo said, "Oh, maybe there are more letters in your room. I'll go and check."

Hazel immediately stood up from the couch and went upstairs.

Leon smiled, and Hazel threw a ball at him.

Leonardo looked surprised. "Did you see what she did to me, Dad?"

Mike smiled. "She's your little sister. Take care of her."

Leon just looked at Hazel as she smiled, rolled his eyes, and went to his room.

Mr. Ben then laughed and continued their conversation. He said that he had just come back to town and was finding it difficult to find a place to stay. He asked Mike if he could stay there for a while.

Mike hesitated for a second, then agreed.

At first, Hazel and the rest of the family didn't mind because he was their father's friend.

He stayed for some months before finding a house of his own.

Everything was okay.

Then he started coming over all the time, buying things for the children and their mom.

Mr. Ben was a businessman who loved inventing and could do anything for money and fame.

One day, a wealthy filmmaker who was higher than him offered him a huge amount of money to create something dangerous.

Because he was also in a big business circle, he agreed without even knowing what they wanted.

Mr. David, a man in his mid-40s with a scar on his face, told him that they needed a movie in a game setting that felt real, something people would enjoy.

At first, Mr. Ben disagreed, saying that he didn't know how to create such a thing.

But Mr. David snapped his fingers, and two huge men came in with a guy.

Mr. David said, "We have already signed a contract. It's editing. You walk out of here alive or dead. Choose one."

Ben became scared, then agreed.

He then talked to Mike, and Mike agreed because that was his job, creating games.

Mike didn't know the kind of contract Ben had signed. He was in the dark.

They told him the kind of game he would produce. It was a horrific and scary game.

At first, Leonardo's father found it weird, but who was he to judge?

So he created the game.

He was just a game developer.

After many sleepless nights, Mike finally finished creating the game.

He decided to visit his friends at his office unannounced. As he went inside, he saw Mr. Ben taking a teenage girl to the game site.

He immediately recognized the girl as Scarlett, the girl from the orphanage. She also assisted his wife with her scientific research.

When Scarlett passed by him, she looked scared, like she wanted to tell him something.

Mike asked, "Scarlett, what are you doing here?"

Then Mr. Ben quickly interrupted.

"Oh, Mike! Why didn't you tell me you were coming? Anyway, let me introduce you to my new adopted daughter, Sophie. Do you two know each other?"

Mike replied, "Well, yeah. I mean, I know her as Scarlett. She's my wife's apprentice."

Mr. Ben became worried and gave Scarlett a threatening look.

Then Scarlett said, "Sorry, Mr. Mike. I didn't tell you that I have a new father."

She paused.

"Oh, Mr. Mike, I remembered something you always say."

Mike replied, "What is it?"

Scarlett said, "You always tell us that people have to surrender and obey in order to survive. You're right."

Ben didn't know that Mike understood what the girl meant by "surrender, obey, and survive." He just agreed with her.

As he was talking, Scarlett, being the clever girl she was, gave Mr. Mike an SOS sign without letting Mr. Ben know.

Mike immediately understood what "surrender, obey, and survive" meant. If you take out the first letter of each word, it spells SOS.

That meant she was in trouble, and his wife was in danger.

Mike had taught his children how to make an SOS sign without letting bad guys know. He also treated Scarlett like one of his children because she was an orphan, and she was one year younger than his son Leonardo.

He taught them how to escape when they were in trouble, find each other, and look for other escape routes. He also taught them how to create codes and hack.

Mike looked around. There were only four security men, so he could take them.

Immediately, he started fighting them. During the fight, he was struck, but he still managed to grab Scarlett's hand and started running toward the car.

As soon as they got to the car, Scarlett started crying.

"They took your wife," she said. "They told her that if she didn't create the chemical they needed for the game, they would kill me, you, and your children."

When Mr. Mike heard that, he stopped. He felt like his life had just ended.

So Ben, his best friend, had been monitoring him after all this time.

He knew that his wife had just discovered a new experiment that could control people's emotions, change them into something else, and turn fear into reality.

But his wife had said that it was too dangerous and that she would destroy it.

The next day, the experiment was gone.

They searched everywhere, but they couldn't find it.

Eva was scared.

"Mike, we have to find the experiment. It's too dangerous. It can kill people."

Mike tried to comfort his wife.

"Don't worry, Eva. We will find it."

Eva cried. "If the experiment gets into the wrong hands, it's not good. It's all my fault."

Mr. Ben said, "Please don't be hard on yourself. Mike is like a brother to me, and you are his wife. I'll do everything I can to find it."

Eva said, "Thank you. And also, the experiment can't be opened without me, so I think we're safe."

Mr. Ben became curious.

"So, are you saying you are the only one who can open the virus?"

Eva answered confidently, "Yes, so we're safe."

Mr. Ben smiled.

"I see. Very well, then."

Then Mike suddenly remembered.

He had been played and cheated by Ben.

He thought to himself, How could I have been so dumb?

And if he had to die, he would die protecting his family.

He then told Scarlett to take Leonardo and Hazel as far away as possible.

Scarlett agreed and drove off with the car.

Mr. Mike knew that he was going to die, so he called home.

Hazel as the one who picked up the call. She was just 13 years old.

She smiled through the phone.

"Dad, how are you doing?"

Mr. Mike tried to hold back his tears.

"Hey, baby. I'm good. I just missed you and your brother and wanted to hear your voice one last time."

Hazel replied, confused, "What do you mean, one last time? Mom just called. I don't know what happened, but she was crying, saying she would miss us. Dad, what's going on? You all are scaring me."

Immediately, Mike heard Hazel mention his wife, and he started crying.

Then Leonardo took the phone from Hazel.

"Dad, what's going on?" he asked worriedly. "Mom just called, and she was crying. She said that we should be happy. Dad, is this some kind of joke or something? Did you and Mom have a fight?"

Mike calmed himself and said, "Leonardo, Scarlett will be home in 30 minutes. When she comes back, take Hazel and Scarlett and run away with them somewhere safe. Take care of yourself, your sister, and Scarlett. They are your family now."

As Mike was talking, Leonardo heard gunshots through the phone.

Then his father dropped the phone.

Leonardo's heart dropped.

He wasn't an idiot. He knew what had happened.

Their parents were going to die, and there was nothing he could do.

He didn't have time to cry. He just took his sister, who was still asking questions.

"What happened, Leo? Is Mom and Dad not coming for dinner? Are they okay?"

Before Leonardo could answer, two men covered their mouths and faces, and they fell unconscious.

Then the men took them away.

When Scarlett came, she saw the black car taking them away.

At first, she wanted to follow them, but then she stopped.

She went inside the house and used the street CCTV cameras to find out where they were taking the kids. Then she disabled everything, including the game, because Hazel's mom had given her the code to disable everything so that they wouldn't be used again.

Eva knew that she was going to die, so she gave Scarlett the code and told her to change it and never tell anyone.

When Scarlett disabled everything and changed the codes into something else, she proceeded with her plan to save Hazel and Leonardo.

When they opened their eyes, they were in a beautiful lab, and they were tied to different chairs.

Hazel said, "Brother, where are we?"

Leo replied, "I don't know. Is Scarlett here yet?"

Hazel said, "No."

Leon said, "Then it's just a matter of time until she finds us. Just be still."

Then Hazel reached into her pocket and took out a small knife. She used it to cut the rope.

Leon said, "Huh? How did you manage to get that?"

Hazel replied, "Stop asking me stupid questions and think of a way we can get the keys and get out of here. We don't have time to wait for Scarlett. I never really liked that girl anyway."

Then she cut the rope from her brother's hands.

They started thinking of a way to get out of the place.

Then Leon thought of an idea. Because the men's fingerprints were on the door, he looked around and saw some powder on the other side.

Meanwhile, Hazel was looking for a way to send a signal to Scarlett so that she would know where they were.

Just then, Hazel saw some electronic parts that, if she fixed them, could create a signal that she could send to Scarlett so that she could pick them up.

Suddenly, Leonardo and Hazel looked at each other.

This was too easy.

It was like someone was watching them and putting all these things there to test them.

Hazel thought, How could all the things we needed for our escape plan be right there in front of us?

From the knife, to the signal device, and even the powder they could use to figure out the PIN the men pressed to open the door.

Then Hazel walked around the lab and saw a camera.

She pretended as if she hadn't noticed it, then gave her brother a sign.

He immediately understood.

Then he pretended to be angry and annoyed, picked up a chair, and destroyed the camera.
