Athena
Me and Derek are the queen and king of all supernaturals. We are very powerful vampires, and we have abilities that no one else has. I’m also very pregnant with a baby girl that we named Seraphina. Seraphina will change the world with how powerful she will be. Me and Derek were watching TV, and I started to feel pain. I looked at Derek and said, “I think I’m about to go into labor, and we need to get to the hospital now.” He nodded and grabbed the baby bag, and we left for the hospital. Once we got there, the nurse looked at us and said, “You look like you’re going into labor. I will get Naida. Come on, let’s get you to the room.” The nurse got me a wheelchair, and we went to the room where I could give birth. I lay down in the bed, and Naida came in and asked me, “Are you ready to have Seraphina?” I smiled and said, “Yes me and Derek are ready to see Seraphina.” Naida smiled and said, “Start pushing.” That’s exactly what I did.
Derek
Athena started pushing Seraphina out, and Seraphina finally arrived. Naida handed Seraphina to us, and we both smiled. I looked at Seraphina, and I said, “Welcome to the world, little princess.” Naida then said, “Let’s get her cleaned up.” Athena gave Seraphina to Naida and Naida gave Seraphina a bath that was sitting in a corner of the room. Once she was done, she handed Seraphina back to us, and Athena smiled and said, “Our little princess seems to love you.” I smiled and said, “She’s Daddy’s little girl.” That made us both happy. Naida came back in with a small bed that rolls, and she put it next to Athena. Athena fell asleep, and so did Seraphina. I put Seraphina in the bed, and I sat down on the couch and started to read. Seraphina is going to grow up beautiful.
Twelve Years Later
Seraphina
It’s my twelfth birthday, and my parents, Naida, Sally, and Oliver were there too, and they all threw me a birthday party. It was very fun, and everyone stayed till ten pm. Then they went home, and me and my parents cleaned up, and once we were done we all three went to bed. I didn’t fall asleep, though, because I was excited to draw and paint, and I stayed in my room so that I wouldn’t wake up my parents, but I do need animal blood so I have protein in my body after eating a lot of cake. We did have steak, and everyone else had something else because they’re not vampires like me and my parents are. While I was drawing I heard screaming coming from my parents room and I remember that they said if I hear a scream coming from my room is to go hide in the walls and that’s what I did. I got out of my chair and went to my closet. I closed the closet door, locked it, and went through a secret door that led to the inside of the walls. Once I was in there, I stayed quiet and sneaked around to the secret door that led to my parents’ room and I saw four men and I sniffed the air and realized that they were vampire hunters and I saw my parents dead in their bed. I started to cry and crawled in the walls to make it to the other side of the house to watch the vampire hunters look around the house for me, but they couldn’t find me, and I stayed in the walls till the police and FBI came, and they caught the hunters. Josh, the big boss of the FBI, called my name, and I was too scared to leave, but I needed to tell him what happened. I crawled to the secret door that led to the kitchen, and I walked to the living room, and Josh looked at me and said, “I’m so sorry about your parents. We need to get you to a safe place, and I will watch over you.” I nodded my head, and I asked him, “Where am I going to go?” He smiled sadly and said, “We will be going to Colorado. There is a lady there named Lyra; she said that she will take you in and help you. She has a son named Brontez and a boyfriend named Sylvan. Her son has a girlfriend named Ella. I will be living next door to also help you and protect you.” Then I said, “Ok let me pack my things, and we can leave.” Josh nodded his head, and I went upstairs to pack my things. New life starts now.
