Chapter1: Introduction

Lee Si Woo was a cold, intimidating, and arrogant guy. No one dared to get in his way or piss him off. He was the kind of person people avoided for their own peace.

He only had one friend, his cousin, Park Tae Hyun, who was also the only person who could handle his attitude.

One day, Lee Si Woo and Park Tae Hyun were heading back to their condo after lectures. As they walked through the parking lot, they noticed a group of people gathered around the exact spot where Lee Si Woo had parked his car.

Lee Si Woo stopped walking.

“What happened?”

Nobody answered immediately.

He walked closer, and his eyes landed on his car.

The bumper was broken.

His expression changed instantly.

“Who did this?”

His voice was loud enough to make everyone around him fall silent.

A few people exchanged nervous glances before pointing toward a guy standing among the crowd.

“Choi Min Jae.”

Choi Min Jae slowly stepped forward.

“I’m sorry. It was an accident.”

Lee Si Woo stared at him.

“An accident?”

Choi Min Jae swallowed nervously.

“I didn’t mean to—”

Before he could finish, Lee Si Woo threw a punch at him.

Choi Min Jae stumbled backward, immediately holding his nose as blood began to trickle down.

Everyone gasped.

Lee Si Woo stared at him coldly.

He wasn't done.

He moved toward Choi Min Jae again, but Park Tae Hyun quickly grabbed his arm.

“Lee Si Woo, enough!”

“Let go of me.”

“Come on. You’ve already hit him.”

Park Tae Hyun pulled him back, trying to calm him down.

But Lee Si Woo was still furious.

“He broke my car!”

“I know, but beating him won't fix it. Just leave it.”

Lee Si Woo shoved Park Tae Hyun away.

“Stay out of this.”

He turned around and headed back toward Choi Min Jae.

Choi Min Jae was still standing there, blood running from his nose.

Lee Si Woo raised his fist again.

But before he could throw another punch, Park Tae Hyun stepped directly in front of him.

The punch landed on Park Tae Hyun instead.

Lee Si Woo froze.

For a moment, everything around him seemed to disappear.

His anger vanished.

The coldness in his eyes was replaced by shock.

“Park Tae Hyun...”

Park Tae Hyun looked at him with anger and disappointment.

He didn't say anything.

He simply turned around and walked away.

Lee Si Woo stood there, staring after him.

He didn't know what to do.

Park Tae Hyun was the only person he had.

The only person who had stayed beside him despite his terrible attitude.

He couldn't lose him.

“Park Tae Hyun!”

Lee Si Woo ran after him.

But Tae Hyun didn't stop.

“Park Tae Hyun, wait!”

He kept walking.

Eventually, Lee Si Woo stopped.

He knew Tae Hyun needed time to cool down, so he let him go.

After a while, Lee Si Woo hailed a taxi and returned to their condo.

When he arrived, he immediately went to his room.

Tae Hyun wasn't there.

Lee Si Woo picked up his phone and called him.

No answer.

He called again.

Still nothing.

He sat on his bed, staring at his phone.

Minutes passed.

Then the door opened.

Park Tae Hyun walked in.

Lee Si Woo immediately stood up.

He walked toward him and knelt down.

“I’m sorry.”

Tae Hyun looked at him.

Lee Si Woo lowered his head.

“I shouldn't have pushed you.”

Tae Hyun stared at him for a few seconds.

Then, to Lee Si Woo's surprise, a small smile appeared on his face.

“I’m not angry anymore.”

Lee Si Woo looked up.

“Really?”

Tae Hyun nodded.

“Yes. Now get up and bring the first-aid kit.”

Lee Si Woo immediately stood up and went to get it.

When he returned, Tae Hyun sat down and cleaned the wound on his face.

For a while, neither of them said anything.

Then they both smiled.

For the next few hours, everything seemed normal again.

Until Lee Si Woo's phone started ringing.

He glanced at the screen.

Dad.

He didn't answer.

The call ended.

A few seconds later, his father's name appeared on Tae Hyun's phone.

Lee Si Woo's expression changed.

“Don't answer it.”

Tae Hyun looked at the phone, then at him.

“Why?”

Lee Si Woo didn't answer.

Before Tae Hyun could ask again, a knock sounded at the door.

Tae Hyun stood up.

“I'll get it.”

He walked to the door and opened it.

One of Governor Lee Jae Sung's men stood outside.

“Mr. Lee Si Woo's father wants him to come home immediately.”

Lee Si Woo shook his head.

“I'm not going.”

The man remained expressionless.

“Your father said you should come home now.”

“I said I'm not going.”

Tae Hyun looked at him.

“Lee Si Woo.”

Si Woo turned toward him.

Tae Hyun sighed.

“Just go.”

Si Woo stared at him.

“I'm not going without you.”

Tae Hyun looked at him for a moment before sighing again.

“Fine. I'll come with you.”

Lee Si Woo grabbed his jacket.

“Let's go.”

They followed the man to the car and drove away.

When they reached Governor Lee Jae Sung's house, Lee Si Woo had barely stepped inside when his father walked toward him and slapped him.

Lee Si Woo's face turned to the side from the impact.

Tae Hyun froze.

Slowly, Lee Si Woo turned his face back toward his father.

His eyes were cold.

“What did I do this time?”

His father stared at him furiously.

“What did you do?”

Lee Si Woo said nothing.

His father stepped closer.

“How dare you lay your hands on my friend's son?”

Lee Si Woo frowned.

“Who?”

His father's expression darkened.

He slapped Lee Si Woo again.

Tae Hyun couldn't bear it anymore and started to move forward, but Lee Si Woo immediately raised a hand, stopping him.

His father continued.

“You beat up Choi Min Jae until he bled!”

Lee Si Woo suddenly smiled.

“Who is Choi Min Jae?”

His father stared at him in disbelief.

For a moment, he couldn't even answer.

The smile slowly disappeared from Lee Si Woo's face.

His father took a deep breath.

“You will come with me and apologize to Choi Min Jae and his father.”

Lee Si Woo shook his head.

“I won't do that.”

His father's eyes narrowed.

“What did you say?”

“I said I won't.”

Lee Si Woo turned around and started walking toward the door.

Tae Hyun followed him.

But before Lee Si Woo could reach the door, his father's voice stopped him.

“Lee Si Woo.”

He stopped.

Slowly, he turned around.

His father's expression had changed.

There was something in his eyes that made Lee Si Woo pause.

“You think you can just walk away from this?”

Lee Si Woo stared at him.

His father took a step forward.

“If you won't apologize to Choi Min Jae and his father...”

He paused.

The silence in the room seemed to grow heavier.

Then he spoke.

“Then I'll have no choice but to send you away.”

Lee Si Woo's eyes narrowed.

“Send me where?”

His father smiled coldly.

“Somewhere you'll finally learn how to behave.”

Lee Si Woo stared at him.

“Where?”

His father didn't answer.

Instead, he turned away.

“You'll find out tomorrow.”

Lee Si Woo's expression changed.

“Tomorrow?”

His father continued walking.

“Pack your things tonight.”

Lee Si Woo stood completely still.

Tae Hyun looked at him, but even he didn't know what to say.

Lee Si Woo stared at his father as he disappeared from the room.

For the first time, he had no idea what his father was planning.

And whatever it was...

He knew his life was about to change.

That night, after returning to the condo, Si Woo couldn’t sit still. The slap still burned on his cheek. The threat of being sent away sat heavy in his chest. He told Tae Hyun he needed air and left.

He ended up at a quiet bar on the edge of the city. He ordered soju and kept drinking until the edges of the world blurred.

Across the room, a man in a simple black t-shirt and dark jeans sat alone, nursing a glass of whiskey. Casual clothes. Nothing flashy. He looked tired, like someone who had argued with his wife earlier and was still carrying the weight of a secret he couldn’t say out loud.

Si Woo barely registered him until a girl slid onto the stool beside him, smiling too brightly. She ordered something sweet, laughed at nothing, and at some point her hand brushed his glass. He didn’t notice the faint spray that settled against his neck and the side of his face.

The heat hit him fast — sharp, unnatural, crawling under his skin like fire. His body reacted before his mind could catch up. He stumbled toward the restroom, vision swimming. The girl followed.

Inside the narrow bathroom she pushed him against the wall, hands already working at his belt. Si Woo tried to shove her away, but the drug made his limbs slow and heavy. He struggled, cursed, but she only laughed and pressed closer.

The door slammed open.

The man in the black t-shirt grabbed the girl by the arm and yanked her back.

“Get out.”

She left.

Si Woo was still panting, body burning, the aphrodisiac pulsing through him in waves. The man stepped closer. Si Woo moved first. He dragged the man down into a messy, desperate kiss, all tongue and teeth.

They barely made it into the back seat of the man’s black sedan. Clothes were shoved aside. Si Woo’s hands were rough, impatient. He pushed the man down onto the seat, yanked his jeans open, and slicked himself with spit.

Then he pushed in.

The man — Kang Do Hyun — let out a broken sound as Si Woo sank into him in one long, burning thrust. Si Woo didn’t give him time to adjust. He gripped Do Hyun’s hips and started fucking him hard, the car rocking with every deep snap of his hips. Do Hyun’s moans filled the confined space, mixed with the wet sound of skin on skin.

“Harder—” Do Hyun gasped, voice wrecked.

Si Woo gave it to him, slamming deep until Do Hyun came with a choked cry, clenching around him. Si Woo followed a few thrusts later, burying himself to the hilt and flooding him with heat.

They stayed locked together for a moment, both breathing hard. Then Si Woo pulled out, cleaned himself roughly with tissues, and slumped back against the seat. The drug and alcohol finally pulled him under.

He passed out.

When he woke the next morning, he was in an unfamiliar apartment, alone, head pounding, and with zero memory of the night before. No name. No face. Nothing.

He got dressed and left without a word.

Later that day at university, Si Woo was walking down the corridor when someone rounded the corner too quickly. They collided hard.

Si Woo barely glanced up, cold and irritated.

“Watch where you’re going.”

He didn’t apologise. He didn’t even look properly.

The man he had bumped into was Kang Do Hyun — his new lecturer for Advanced Political Theory. Casual black t-shirt replaced by a neat shirt and glasses, but the same face. The same body Si Woo had held down and fucked the night before.

Do Hyun recognised him instantly.

The same sharp eyes. The same arrogant mouth. The same hands.

Si Woo, however, looked at him like he was a complete stranger.

Do Hyun’s voice came out lower than usual.

“…Mr. Lee.”

Si Woo didn’t even slow down. He just gave a short, dismissive glance over his shoulder and continued walking, as if the man wasn’t worth another second of his attention.

No recognition.

No apology.

No memory.

Just the same cold, untouchable student who had no idea he had spent the night buried inside his new lecturer.

And Kang Do Hyun was left standing in the corridor, pulse racing, the memory of every moan and every thrust still burning under his skin.
