The unexpected morning
It was a holiday, and Lily never expected her day to turn out like this.
Lily was a girl who lived with her single mother. She loved sleeping late whenever she got the chance, especially on holidays.
That morning, however, her peaceful sleep was interrupted by her mother's voice.
“Lily! Wake up!”
Lily slowly opened her eyes.
“Coming, Mom!”
She got out of bed and went downstairs. Still half-asleep, she walked past her mother and went straight to the refrigerator to get some water.
After taking a few sips, she turned around to leave the room.
Then she stopped.
Someone was sitting on the sofa.
Lily blinked and looked again.
Wait...
She quickly moved behind the corner of the doorway and peeked into the room.
There were four handsome boys sitting on the sofa with their mother.
Who are they?
Lily immediately rushed back upstairs to the bathroom. She washed her sleepy face, fixed her hair, and took a deep breath before going downstairs again.
Her mother noticed her.
“Lily, come here. I want you to meet some people.”
Lily walked over.
“These are my friends,” her mother explained. “And these are their children—Avil, Adien, kavin and Zopesh.”
Lily looked at the three boys for a moment.
“Hi,” she said quietly.
“Hi,” they replied.
Before Lily could say anything else, one of the women smiled at her.
“So, Lily, where do you study? Are you in school or college?”
Lily hesitated.
“Auntie, I was in junior school, but I haven't found a high school yet.”
“Don't worry,” her auntie said warmly. “Our boys also go to high school. You can go with them.”
Lily thought about it for a moment.
“Okay.”
She gave them a small smile and went back to her room.
She had no idea that this small conversation would change her life.
Meanwhile, downstairs, the four boys began whispering among themselves about something Lily knew nothing about.
A few minutes later, their mothers left with them.
Lily sat quietly in her room, completely unaware that she had just met four people who would soon become an important part of her life. 🌙
