Prologue…

Some people are written into your story long before they ever meet you.

There are people who arrive like storms-loud, sudden, impossible to ignore.

And then there are those who arrive like autumn.

Quietly.

With Patience.

Without asking for attention, they change the color of everything you once knew.

Rishiv Singhania had always believed life was meant to be carefully designed, like the interiors he dreamed of creating-every wall measured, every color chosen, every corner carrying purpose. He trusted plans more than promises and silence more than words.

While, Varinya Goenka, carried success as effortlessly as he carried responsibility. People admired her confidence, envied her achievements, and assumed they knew her because they saw the smile she wore.Love, to her, belonged between the pages of novels she secretly read after midnight, never in the reality she lived. She had no idea that the universe had been sketching a different blueprint.

No one noticed the loneliness hidden beneath it.

She had learned that even the brightest rooms could feel empty when no one truly belonged in them.

Their worlds were strangers.

Different families.

Different dreams.

Different destinies.

Yet fate has an amusing habit of laughing at human plans.

Sometimes it waits years before placing two souls on the same path.

Sometimes it lets them walk past each other without a second glance.

And sometimes...

it brings them together when they have stopped believing anyone was meant to stay.

Neither of them was searching for love.

One was trying to build a future.

The other was trying to outrun her past.

But love has never cared about perfect timing.

It only asks one question.

What happens when two hearts, bruised by life in different ways, finally find a place where they can rest?

It is the story of stolen glances that lingered too long.

Of conversations that felt like home.

Of laughter that healed wounds no one else could see.

Of choices that demanded courage.

And of two souls who discovered that sometimes, the right person doesn't complete you-

they simply remind you that you were never incomplete to begin with.

Because every season ends.

Except the one created by the person who becomes your forever.

And this...

is where their autumn begins......
