Trailer Park Treatment
Azure Keagen is a university student working his way to becoming a business entrepreneur, along with his four best friends. The only difference was, he lived in a trailer park.
Since that morning in Galway, Ireland, Azure had been sitting by the entrance of Galway Business School, while typing on his laptop. He had dark black hair, wavy mullet hairstyle, and sky blue eyes. He was wearing a dark blue wool jacket, black T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers.
Sending in his assignment, the laptop was snatched before his very eyes. He sighed, completely aware of who it was. Glancing at him, it was the very person he despised. Aiden Pedler. With light blonde hair and tapered quiff hairstyle, he had chocolate brown eyes. He was dressed in a white sweater and black jeans with black and white sneakers.
With a cold tone, he asked Aiden if there was a reason to snatch his laptop. With a mocking tone, he demanded Azure to go back to where he came from.
"That's funny, I don't remember your rich daddy owning this school, not to mention how much you've been held back." Azure replied. "What was that punk?!" He held Azure by the collar of his shirt.
Just as he was about to throw a punch, someone stepped in. Cara Joyce. Her caramel brunette hair were soft waves, and her teak wood eyes determined bravery. She was wearing a baby blue blouse, black wool jacket, grey skirt, black silk leggings, and sable boots.
She warned Aiden to simply back off. Aiden took it as an offence and pushed her on the ground. With a yelp, Azure stood up properly. He couldn't help but lose it. With a punch landing on Aiden's face, a fight between the two escalated. Everyone in the surrounding area began breaking up the fight.
Later that morning, all three of them were in the principal’s office, standing in front of his desk. Azure and Aiden looked like a mess after fighting.
"If I witness either of you causing trouble again, I'll take bigger measures. I don't support you pushing anyone off, especially young ladies such as Cara. And I don't support you for starting the fight. I'm letting you off just this once, seeing as we're near the exams, and it's what you should be focusing on. You three are dismissed." The principal stated.
Everyone walked out of the office. While walking through the corridor, Aiden gave a slight push to Azure and chuckled mockingly.
"I'll see you later. Trailer park losers." He mocked and laughed, as he walked through the corridor. Cara scoffed and asked if he was okay. Azure reminded her that he wasn't the one who was on the ground getting beaten. Cara chuckled.
They both thanked each other in unison. Azure advised her not to come in between them next time, worried over Aiden's motives towards her. Cara softly sighed, not figuring out why Aiden always treated them as garbage.
They entered the classroom and separated to find their seats. Azure sat with one of his best friends. Tyrus Lee. He had sandy blonde hair, spiky fringe, and cognac eyes. He was wearing an ultramarine blue open jacket, white T-shirt, black jeans, and black and amber orange sneakers.
He informed him that he heard he ran into trouble with Aiden. Azure mentioned to Tyrus that Aiden brought the trouble instead. He whispered that they would talk about it after the lesson. With a gentle nod, their eyes remained on the teacher.
Cara sat with one of their best friends. Maeve Malone. She had cream blonde hair, a relaxed fishtail, and honey eyes. She was wearing a white buttoned sweater, deep blue T-shirt, black jeans, and grey boots.
Looking concerned, she asked if she was okay. She heard that Aiden pushed her. With a worried yet soft sigh, she softly nodded and assured her that she was fine. She told her that they would talk about it after the lesson. Maeve softly nodded, beginning to pay attention to the lesson.
After the lesson, Azure, Cara, Tyrus, and Maeve were in the car park. Azure explained to them the reason they fought Aiden. Tyrus flapped his arms once, determined to beat up Aiden now. Azure immediately advised him not to.
"Two of my best friends get picked on, and I shouldn't do a thing?!" Tyrus asked with an aggressive tone. "If you do so, you're only doing what he wants you to do. We can figure out another way to get him off our backs. Besides, the exams are near, and soon we're done. He won't bother us afterwards." Azure said.
Tyrus softly nodded, convinced to not attack Aiden. A.sigh of frustration escaped his mouth, irritated by the fact he couldn't do anything. Maeve looked at Cara looking upset. She shook her head softly and stepped forward to look at them.
"I don't get it! What does he want from us? Why does he treat us like garbage?! Ever since we told the class that we all lived in a trailer park, he has always picked on us for no reason!" Maeve asked.
Cara closed her eyes for a few seconds. She opened them again and told Maeve that he was a spoilt brat.
"You know how, in movies and shows, the rich treat other people that aren't rich? Well, those don't just happen on TV," Cara said, looking down. "I can also assure you that Azure and Aiden would've been punished just like every other student. But because he's rich and keeps threatening that his daddy will take him out of the job, he gets away with it. And to make it fair, he made up the excuse to give him and Azure a pass, so Azure wouldn't be punished at all."
Azure sighed and softly nodded. He looked at Maeve and agreed with Cara. He also believed the principal was being threatened by Aiden for taking away his job. Cara found it sick what the spoilt rich would do.
Aiden was passing by them. He laughed at them with a small group of friends.
"Don't worry! The containers are over there, trailer park losers!" He laughed before getting into his car and driving away.
Everyone looked down and sighed. Azure looked at everyone and came up with an idea. "Let’s get out of here. I know what we're going to do today!" Azure said with enthusiasm. He got into his car. Everyone followed in.
A few hours had passed on a cloudy afternoon with the open sky. The soundtrack "Mr. Blue Sky" by Electric Light Orchestra was playing on the radio.
While Azure and Tyrus were in front, Cara and Maeve were checking out some grocery bags. Cara appreciated him for driving them back and forth ever since he got the car.
"Of course! We're all best friends, aren't we?" Azure said with optimism. "Yeah, best friends!" She said, showing red blushing cheeks.
"Someone's in love..." Maeve mocked her by whispering. "Shut up!" Cara whispered while covering her cheeks. Maeve couldn't help but giggle.
Tyrus still looked upset. Azure looked at him and urged him to cheer up. He reminded him that once they all passed the exams, Aiden would be out of their lives. Tyrus mentioned that he just wanted Aiden to quit picking on them. Azure told him that it was what they all wanted.
"But let's face it. As long as he's spoilt, he won't stop picking on us. Some people are just like that." Azure said. Tyrus gently nodded and sighed. He asked if he brought the cake and pies. Maeve held a cherry pie in the middle of the car. She assured him that they had brought cake. Tyrus thanked her. Blushing in pink, she assured him that it was no problem.
"Someone's in love..." Cara teased back. "Shut up!" Maeve covered her cheeks. Cara couldn't help but giggle.
After a while, they drove through O'Hallorans Caravan Park and parked the car next to Azure's mobile home.
Soon after, they had some cherry and lemon pies, hot dogs, burgers, and cake on the table. They also had a basket filled with water balloons. Taking a bite of the lemon pie, Azure felt delighted. Cara giggled and asked if he preferred it more than the cherry one.
"Not me! I pick cherries for living!" Cara smiled. "Speaking of cherries..." Tyrus was playing Pac-Man on his phone and ate the cherry in the game.
"And that's how I won!" Tyrus stood up and chuckled confidently. Nevertheless, Inky from Pac-Man ended up getting him and causing him to lose the game. "And that's how you lost the game." Azure laughed.
Tyrus glared, held a water balloon and threw it at Azure's face. Cara and Maeve started laughing. "Now you've done it!" Azure said as he held a water balloon.
He was ready to throw it at Tyrus, until he slipped and threw it at Maeve by mistake. With a laugh escaping her open smile, she stood on the table holding two water balloons and threw them, one at Tyrus, while the other was headed to Azure. Until he dodged and hit Cara instead.
Cara held three at the same time and threw each one at Azure, Tyrus, and Maeve. Everyone was wet and were staring at each other. In a matter of seconds, it turned into a water balloon fight around the trailer park. Screams and laughter surrounded the trailer park area.
After running around and having fun, Azure was sitting on the table, sky gazing. Cara approached him and forgot how fun water balloon fights were. Azure chuckled while watching the sky. She looked up and asked what he was doing.
"Sky gazing." He answered. "Okay, without the obvious answer, what are you doing? Why do you always stare at the sky?" She enquired.
Azure looked at her and held her hand. She blushed with a slight gasp, as he pulled her up. She sat on the table. He had one arm holding her right waist towards him, while she had her head on his shoulder, watching the sky. Both were quiet while watching the sky. Until, Azure spoke something.
"What a lot of people don't understand, is the meaning behind the big blue sky," Azure stated. "Care to elaborate?" Cara asked. "I'm happy to." He accepted to explain to her. They spent the day gazing at the big blue sky, after partying with water balloons...
