Summary

For a hundred years, Vera has wanted only one thing: to be left alone. Her secluded home was a sanctuary long before werewolves spread into the surrounding forests. But now the wolves are getting closer-and Vera will do anything to protect her frail younger sister and the woman they call Mother. Even walk willingly into the territory of their natural predator. Vera's plan is simple: find the Alpha and convince him to keep his pack away from her home. She never reaches him. Captured and thrown into a cell, the five-foot-two vampire is beaten and interrogated by wolves who would rather kill her than tolerate her presence. But Vera refuses to break. And word of the fearless vampire eventually reaches Draven Ravencroft. At six-foot-six, Draven is intimidating enough as a man. As a rare Alpha capable of transforming into an eight-foot-three bipedal beast, he's something even vampires have learned to fear. He enters Vera's cell intending to interrogate her himself. Then he meets her. Defiant. Bloodied. Fearless. And suddenly, Draven doesn't want answers. He wants **her**. His pack wants the vampire dead. Vera wants nothing to do with him. And Draven is about to discover that claiming the one woman who refuses to fear him may be far more dangerous than letting her go.

AI Use Transparency

I wanted to make a section here to state i DO use AI for these things

~I Type up my chapters on OpenOffice and i then feed it threw ChatGPT to fix any grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, i am Dyslexic so doing this helps me

~Any Images i use for my story are made by AI to give visuals of how the characters etc look

i want to be fully transparent with my readers in regards to AI use :)

I honestly did not love Dev, he had no character growth and no arc I just didnt like who he is as a person and that made it hard to keep going about half way through. Without Jaspers ...
