🐺 MY NEIGHBOR, THE ALPHA
Claire thought he was just a stray wolf. Nate let her believe it.
Welcome to Pinehaven, Montana, where the mountains are breathtaking, the forests stretch endlessly, the neighbors are a little strange, and not every creature walking on four legs is what it seems.
Claire Bennett only wanted a fresh start.
A quiet house. A little peace. Cool evenings on the porch, hot coffee, a job she could do from home, and finally, a place that truly belonged to her.
When she manages to buy an old house on the edge of the forest for a ridiculously low price, Claire thinks she’s simply gotten lucky.
She hasn’t.
Because her new home sits right in the middle of a werewolf pack’s territory.
Of course, nobody bothers to tell Claire that.
Just as nobody mentions that her grumpy, annoyingly handsome, and slightly too curious neighbor, Nathaniel “Nate” Hawthorne, isn’t merely one of the most influential men in the area.
He’s the Alpha of the Blackpine Pack.
In his forty-two years, Nate has learned how to lead a pack, protect his territory, and silence an entire room with a single look.
What nobody prepared him for, however, was a human woman moving into the middle of his territory, refusing to sell him her house, and then encountering his enormous black wolf one evening.
Claire, naturally, assumes he’s a stray.
She feeds him.
Leaves out water for him.
Lets him onto her porch.
Scratches him behind the ears.
And eventually, she even gives him a name.
Boris.
A human woman has just named the feared Alpha of the Blackpine Pack Boris.
Nate has every opportunity to clear up the misunderstanding.
He doesn’t.
Maybe it’s because of the ham.
Maybe it’s because of the ear scratches.
Maybe it’s because, in his wolf form, he can show Claire a side of himself he hasn’t allowed anyone to see in a very long time.
Or maybe it’s because Nate’s wolf recognizes something long before the man is ready to admit it.
Claire isn’t simply a stranger living on their territory.
Little by little, she’s becoming part of the pack.
The wolves bring her firewood. They repair her fence. They dig her car out of the snow. The older women bring her homemade meals, the children adore her, and Nate’s family begins treating her with alarming speed as though she’s always belonged with them.
There’s just one tiny problem.
Claire still thinks Boris is an ordinary wolf.
And when the truth finally comes out, Nate is about to discover that an angry human woman can be far more terrifying than a rival Alpha.
My Neighbor, the Alpha is a lighthearted, slow-burn paranormal romance filled with humor, small-town charm, and strong found-family themes.
What to expect:
🐺 A werewolf Alpha
❤️ A human heroine
🏡 Small-town romance
🌲 Montana’s forests and mountains
🔥 Slow-burn romance
✨ Fated mates and a special mate bond
🚪 Neighbors to lovers
🐾 A hidden supernatural world
👨👩👧👦 Found family
☕ Lots of coffee
🥩 Ham that makes excellent bribery material
😂 A pack that will never, ever forget the infamous “Boris Incident”
🖤 And one feared Alpha who insists he absolutely did NOT enjoy having Claire scratch behind his ears.
The pack, naturally, remembers things a little differently.
This is, first and foremost, a romance.
Although there will be supernatural conflicts, pack politics, and a few dangerous moments, the heart of the story will always be Claire and Nate’s growing relationship, along with the strange, loud, and lovable family Claire accidentally finds herself becoming part of.
And one very important warning:
PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE ALPHA.
Once he gets used to finding dinner waiting for him on the porch every evening, getting rid of him becomes practically impossible.
Although Claire probably won’t want to anyway. 🐺❤️
Content Note: This story contains paranormal themes, romantic tension, and occasional supernatural conflicts. Some chapters may include mild violence and moments of danger. The main focus remains on romance, humor, and found family.
