In Bi City, Zou Di, the 18-year-old young master of the low-ranked Zou Clan, struggles with his weak cultivation. His father, Zou Fang, is the clan master. Seeing stronger clans bully weaker ones, Zou Di becomes determined to gain power and change his clan's fate. While investigating the mysterious black light, Zou Di enters the Light Forest and discovers a small house. There, he meets a mysterious man named Plotter. During their conversation, Plotter explains that cultivation involves six types of energy—Im, Win, Wind, Mine, Gu, and Du—with Light and Dark existing as two additional energies. Plotter also explains the first three cultivation realms: Du Realm, Du Master Realm, and Du Grandmaster Realm. Each has ten levels, except Du Grandmaster, which has nine. Zou Di is currently at Level 1 of the Du Realm. When Zou Di asks how he can become powerful, Plotter tells him to return the following evening. Plotter then mysteriously disappears and secretly follows Zou Di through the sky. On his way home, Zou Di encounters Le Dong, the young master of the Le Clan, who orders his followers to beat him. Chapter:- 1 INTRODUCTION

Chapter 1: Introduction

Darkness stretched across the endless universe.

A strange white light appeared in the void. Slowly, black and white intertwined, forming a mysterious vortex.

Suddenly, a beam of black light shot out of the vortex.

It crossed the endless universe, heading toward a distant world.

A world known as the Lu World.

---

Lu World — Bi City

Today, the

Zou Clan

was accepting new disciples.

Within Bi City, the Zou Clan was known as a low-ranked cultivation clan. Its influence was limited, and it struggled to compete with more powerful clans.

Zou Fang, the clan master, had an eighteen-year-old son named Zou Di.

Unfortunately, Zou Di was neither a cultivation genius nor an outstanding talent. His cultivation was unremarkable, and compared with the geniuses of powerful clans, he had a long way to go.

Despite being the young master of the Zou Clan, he could not change his clan's situation with his current strength.

Meanwhile, the Le Clan continued to bully the Avor Clan.

As Zou Di walked toward the Light Forest, his expression grew heavy.

Why are we so weak?

‘The Le Clan can bully the Avor Clan because they possess greater strength. If this continues, what will happen to clans like ours?’

He clenched his fists.

‘How can I become stronger?’

Zou Di had no answer.

He continued walking until he noticed a small, isolated house hidden among the trees.

He stopped.

‘

Someone lives here? In the Light Forest

?’

Curiosity overcame his hesitation. Zou Di approached the house and pushed open the door.

Inside, a man was sitting calmly on a chair.

The man glanced at him and smiled.

Man

: "Welcome."

Zou Di immediately cupped his hands in greeting.

Zou Di

:"Greetings, Senior. Why are you living in the Light Forest? This place is dangerous."

The man smiled faintly.

Man

: "Don't worry about me. I'm perfectly fine here. But tell me, young man, why have you come here?"

(Zou Di hesitated for a moment before answering.)

Zou Di

: "Last night! , I saw a strange black light descend from the universe. It seemed to be heading toward the Light Forest, so I came to investigate."

He paused, then asked respectfully,

Zou Di

: "Senior, may I know your name?"

The man studied Zou Di for a moment.

‘Hmm. This child…’

His eyes held a hint of curiosity, but his expression remained relaxed.

Man

:"My name is Plotter."

He leaned back in his chair.

Plotter

: "That light is dangerous. You shouldn't involve yourself with it."

Zou Di's expression became serious.

Zou Di

: "Thank you for your concern, Senior."

However, he couldn't help thinking,

*

This man is dangerous

.*

He couldn't explain why, but something about Plotter made him feel that the man was far more mysterious than he appeared.

Still, Zou Di did not leave.

He lowered his head slightly and spoke with determination.

Zou Di

: "Senior, I want power. My clan is weak, and we are constantly looked down upon by stronger clans. I don't want to remain powerless forever."

He raised his eyes toward Plotter.

Zou Di

:"Please tell me... is there a way for someone like me to become stronger?”

Plotter

: *(Enjoying himself)* "Child cultivation involves six types of energy."

(Zou Di listened carefully.)

Plotter raised six fingers as he explained.

"

Im. Win. Wind. Mine. Gu. And Du

."

"These are the six types of energy that cultivators practice. But there are also two special energies:

Light and Dark

. They exist beyond the six ordinary types."

Zou Di looked surprised.

Zou Di

: "Oh, I see! These are the cultivation realms?"

(Plotter chuckled.)

Plotter

: "No, child. Those are energies, not realms. Cultivation realms are an entirely different matter."

He paused before continuing.

"Let me explain some of the basics."

"There are three realms you should know about."

‘

First: Du Realm

’ — ten levels.

‘

Second: Du Master Realm

’ — ten levels.

‘

Third: Du Grandmaster Realm

’— nine levels.

Plotter glanced at Zou Di.

"You are currently at the first level of the Du Realm. You have a long way to go."

Zou Di lowered his head. He already knew how weak he was, but hearing it from someone like Plotter made him even more aware of the gap between himself and the powerful cultivators of the world.

Zou Di

: "I know I'm weak, Senior. But how can I become powerful?"

(Plotter smiled faintly.)

Plotter: "Come here tomorrow, in the middle of the evening."

(Before Zou Di could ask another question, Plotter's figure suddenly disappeared.)

There was no sound. No visible movement. One moment he was sitting in his chair; the next, he was gone.

(Zou Di froze.)

Zou Di

: "What...?"

He stared at the empty chair.

Zou Di:

"I knew it... He's not an ordinary person."

High above the forest, Plotter was already following Zou Di through the sky, flying silently and remaining invisible.

Plotter

: *(Thinking to himself)* "He's far too weak right now."

(Meanwhile, Zou Di continued toward home, unaware that someone was watching over him.)

(However, before he could reach the Zou Clan's territory, a group of young cultivators blocked his path.)

At their front stood a familiar face.

Le Dong, the young master of the Le Clan.

(Zou Di's expression darkened.)

Zou Di

: "Le Dong! Why are you here?"

(He clenched his fists.)

Zou Di

: "One day, I'll defeat you!"

Le Dong laughed.

Le Dong

: "You? Defeat me? You're only a first-level cultivator. What makes you think you can challenge me?"

He turned toward his followers.

Le Dong

: "Guys, teach him a lesson."

The young cultivators surrounded Zou Di.

Zou Di tried to resist, but the difference in their strength was overwhelming.

High in the sky, Plotter watched without revealing himself.

Plotter

: *(

Thinking

)* "Hmm. He's even weaker than I expected."

---

Zou Clan

When Zou Di finally returned home, his father, Zou Fang, immediately noticed that something was wrong.

Zou Fang

: "Zou Di! What happened to your hand?"

Zou Di hesitated.

Zou Di

: "I... I..."

He quickly searched for an excuse.

Zou Di

: "I fell while sleeping on the floor."

Zou Fang frowned.

Zou Fang

: "Come here. Let me heal you."

He reached toward Zou Di's injured hand.

The moment he began treating it, Zou Di cried out.

Zou Di

: "Ahhhhh! Father, it hurts!"

Zou Fang continued carefully, his expression growing serious.

He knew his son was hiding something.

But he didn't force him to speak.

For now, he could only help him recover.

And somewhere beyond the walls of the Zou Clan, an enigmatic man was waiting for tomorrow to arrive.

.

To be continued...

*Chapter 2 coming.

Merrell Bunting: Well written, kind of quiet story, I enjoyed it. I am still a bit perplexed over whether this was a second chance mating story with choosing or completely a chosen mate story. If it is a chosen mate tale it leaves one a bit worried about a fated mate showing up. Either way it was a nice read.
