Summary

The Last Train Every night at 11:47, Daniel stood at the same train station. He never boarded. He was waiting for someone. People thought he was strange. Some laughed at him. Others ignored him. Then, one rainy night, the train stopped. The doors opened. A girl stepped out. Daniel stopped breathing. She was wearing the same blue coat she had worn three years ago. The same smile. The same eyes. She walked toward him. “Daniel,” she whispered. His hands began to shake. “You're dead.” The girl smiled. “I know.” Behind her, the train doors closed. Daniel looked at the empty tracks. There was no train. No girl. Only the blue coat lying on the wet ground. Inside the pocket was a small piece of paper. Four words were written on it: “You can come home.”

The Last Train

Every night at 11:47, Daniel stood at the same train station.

He never boarded.

He was waiting for someone.

People thought he was strange. Some laughed at him. Others ignored him.

Then, one rainy night, the train stopped.

The doors opened.

A girl stepped out.

Daniel stopped breathing.

She was wearing the same blue coat she had worn three years ago.

The same smile.

The same eyes.

She walked toward him.

“Daniel,” she whispered.

His hands began to shake.

“You're dead.”

The girl smiled.

“I know.”

Behind her, the train doors closed.

Daniel looked at the empty tracks.

There was no train.

No girl.

Only the blue coat lying on the wet ground.

Inside the pocket was a small piece of paper.

Four words were written on it:

“You can come home.”

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel
