Chapter 1

FORGOD (Draft Version)

PART 1 — THE DIVINE REALM

Scene 1: The World Above the Clouds

Above the clouds, there was a vast world known as the Divine Realm.

It was a mysterious place filled with endless clouds. The sky seemed to have no end, and the space around it was beyond ordinary imagination.

In this realm, there were twelve Gods.

They were so enormous that their complete forms could not easily be seen. Their bodies were hidden among the clouds, and only parts of them were visible.

Among these Gods was God Number 7.

He was resting peacefully among the clouds. His appearance was calm, and his face carried a gentle smile. He seemed relaxed and wise, as if he had all the time in the world.

He was not the kind of God who always looked serious or frightening. He could be calm, playful, and clever when he spoke.

Suddenly, the soul of a young boy appeared before God Number 7.

[Conversation between the young boy and God Number 7 — to be written later.]

The young boy asked God Number 7 for a particular object.

God Number 7 looked at him and made sure that the boy truly wanted it.

After confirming his wish, God Number 7 gave him the object.

But the object was not ordinary.

It had a consciousness of its own.

The moment the boy received it, the object rejected him. It did not accept the boy as its owner.

The object then fell towards Earth.

[Conversation between the young boy and God Number 7 after the object rejects the boy — to be written later.]

God Number 7 decided that the object needed to be handled safely. He could not simply leave the matter unattended.

He called for Aesha, one of his Ansh.

Aesha was quiet by nature. He did not speak unnecessarily, and he usually accepted the decisions of those above him without arguing.

God Number 7 also summoned Aesha's two companions. They looked like pets, but they were also Ansh of God Number 7.

Together, Aesha and his companions were given responsibility for the object.

The young boy would accompany them on the journey as well.

[Conversation between God Number 7, Aesha, his two companions, and the young boy — to be written later.]

Scene 2: The Journey Begins

After receiving their instructions, Aesha, his two companions, and the young boy prepared to leave the Divine Realm.

Their mission was to reach Earth and safely handle the object that had fallen there.

As they were preparing to depart, they encountered an Ansh of God Number 5.

He had been sent by God Number 5 to help them with their mission.

God Number 5 was one of the powerful Gods, and his Ansh was among the strongest Ansh.

God Number 5 and God Number 7 shared a good relationship. Because of this, his Ansh had come to assist the group.

[Conversation between Aesha's group and the Ansh of God Number 5 — to be written later.]

After their conversation, the group was ready to begin the journey.

They moved towards the edge of the cloud-filled realm and jumped down towards Earth.

One by one, they began travelling downwards.

The young boy and the others continued towards their destination.

But something unexpected happened.

Aesha did not move downwards with the others.

Instead, he began moving upwards.

While everyone else was heading towards Earth, Aesha was travelling in the opposite direction.

He continued moving upwards, away from his companions and the path he was supposed to follow.

He was no longer going towards the place where the others were headed.

Instead, Aesha found himself going towards a completely different destination.

The Main Council.

And so, while the others continued their journey towards Earth, Aesha was heading towards the place where the Gods' important matters were discussed.

This was the beginning of Aesha's unexpected journey to the Main Council.

THE ALPHA WHO REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE

Merrell Bunting: This story has a unique take on the shifter world. It is fairly quick moving and holds your interest but has some pretty glaring continuity issues which are distracting. I also did not care for the male lead’s complete refusal to acknowledge any emotional feelings for his mate. He always referred to...
