I thought if I loved them enough, they would love me back.
But I was wrong.
It was a rainy evening when the mirror of my expectations finally shattered. I overheard a conversation that changed everything. The people I called my 'world' were laughing at my innocence. To my friends, I was just a convenience. To my family, I was a duty. And to the person I loved... I was just an option.
