Tiana And The Family Secret - part 1
🌟 Tiana and the Family Secret 🌟
Chapter 1: The Family That Could Never Have a Normal Saturday 😂🏡
My name is Tiana, and if there is one thing you should know about my family, it is this:
Peace does not live here. 😂
Our house was always loud, chaotic, dramatic, and somehow full of people arguing about things that made absolutely no sense.
My husband, Jordan, was the calm one.
I was the mother who tried to keep everyone organized.
And our children?
Well…
Let’s just say I sometimes wondered whether I had raised children or accidentally opened a zoo. 😭😂
Our oldest was Hagar, sixteen years old.
He was known for his bad attitude, his dramatic eye-rolls, and his incredible ability to turn a simple question into an argument.
Then came Enosh, fourteen.
Enosh was quieter than Hagar, but that did not mean he was innocent. He loved watching family drama from a safe distance while pretending he had nothing to do with it.
Then there was Jared, eleven.
Jared was completely different.
He was kind.
Respectful.
Sweet.
He thanked people even when they did something as small as holding a door open.
He helped elderly neighbors carry groceries.
He shared his lunch at school.
He even apologized when someone else bumped into him.
Honestly, sometimes I thought the boy had been sent to us by a group of extremely polite angels. 😭❤️
And finally, there was little Nora, the youngest.
Nora was only ten, but she had the confidence of someone who owned the entire planet.
If she wanted the last cookie, she took the last cookie.
If she wanted to watch television, she announced the schedule.
And if anybody disagreed?
Good luck. 😂
One Saturday morning, I was in the kitchen preparing breakfast when Jordan walked in.
“Tiana,” he said calmly.
“Yes?”
“Why is the toaster smoking?”
I froze.
“…What?”
We both stared at the toaster.
Smoke was rising from it like a tiny volcano.
Suddenly, Nora ran into the kitchen.
“DON’T PANIC!”
Jordan and I looked at her.
“Nora,” I said slowly, “why would we panic?”
She paused.
“Because I put cheese in the toaster.”
My mouth dropped open.
“WHY?!”
“I wanted grilled cheese.”
Jordan rubbed his forehead.
“We own a frying pan.”
“I know.”
“Then why use the toaster?”
Nora shrugged.
“It looked faster.” 😭😂
From upstairs, Hagar shouted:
“WHO IS SCREAMING THIS EARLY?!”
I shouted back.
“YOUR SISTER ALMOST BURNED THE HOUSE DOWN!”
There was silence.
Then Hagar answered:
“Okay. Reasonable.”
I stared at Jordan.
Jordan stared at me.
Then we both burst out laughing.
Our life was ridiculous.
But I loved it.
Every loud argument.
Every silly mistake.
Every crazy morning.
Even Hagar.
Although I wasn’t sure Hagar would admit he loved us back.
Chapter 2: The Boy Everyone Mocked 💔🏫
Meanwhile, Jared’s life at school wasn’t nearly as funny.
Jared was a very kind boy, and unfortunately, some students thought kindness made him weak.
At school, people often teased him.
“Hey, Jared!”
Jared turned around.
One boy laughed.
“Why are you always helping everybody?”
Jared smiled.
“Because helping people feels good.”
Another student laughed.
“You’re too nice!”
Jared simply shrugged.
“I don’t think being nice is a bad thing.”
The boy rolled his eyes.
But Jared didn’t fight.
That was just who he was.
His closest friends were James and Henry.
James was hilarious and always had some ridiculous comment ready.
Henry was more serious, but he secretly laughed at James’ jokes all the time.
One morning, James rushed into class.
“JARED!”
Jared looked up.
“What happened?”
James pointed dramatically toward the hallway.
“We have a crisis.”
Henry walked in behind him.
“It’s not a crisis.”
“It is.”
“It isn’t.”
James lowered his voice.
“The vending machine ate my money.”
Jared blinked.
“That is your crisis?”
“Yes!”
Henry sighed.
“You spent twenty minutes shaking it.”
James crossed his arms.
“It was a strategic operation.”
Jared laughed.
“You two are crazy.”
James smiled.
“That’s why we’re friends.”
But there was one other person Jared noticed a lot at school.
Her name was Zanop.
She had been his friend for two years.
They had worked on school projects together, laughed at silly jokes, and helped each other with homework.
Jared admired how thoughtful she was.
He enjoyed talking to her.
Sometimes when she walked into class, Jared suddenly became much quieter.
James noticed.
Of course James noticed.
One day, James leaned toward Henry.
“Do you see Jared?”
Henry looked over.
“Yeah.”
“He’s staring at Zanop again.”
Henry smirked.
“Ohhh.”
Jared immediately turned around.
“I wasn’t staring!”
James raised one eyebrow.
“You were looking in her direction with the concentration of a detective.”
“I was thinking!”
“About what?”
“Math!”
Henry laughed.
“You were looking at Zanop while thinking about math?”
Jared’s face went red.
“Maybe!”
James started laughing.
“Ladies and gentlemen, our genius mathematician has discovered another equation!”
Jared covered his face.
“Please stop.”
The boys laughed.
Still, Jared’s feelings were innocent and simple.
He liked being around Zanop.
He thought she was a wonderful friend.
And most importantly, he respected her.
He didn’t want to make things awkward.
So he kept his feelings quietly to himself.
Chapter 3: Binace, the School Superstar 🌟🏆
Then there was Binace.
Binace was probably the most popular student in school.
Everybody knew her.
Teachers knew her.
Students knew her.
Even students from other classes knew her.
She was confident, friendly, talented, and somehow always surrounded by people.
Whenever she walked through the hallway, someone was calling her name.
“Binace!”
“Hey, Binace!”
“Did you see the announcement?”
“Are you coming to the game?”
It was like she had her own fan club. 😂
But Binace wasn’t arrogant.
One afternoon, she noticed several students laughing at Jared.
One boy said,
“Look at Mr. Perfect! Helping everybody again.”
Jared picked up some books that had fallen on the floor.
“Here.”
The student grabbed them.
“Why are you always acting like a hero?”
Jared smiled.
“I’m not acting like anything.”
Binace walked over.
“Actually,” she said, “he’s just being helpful.”
The students went quiet.
Binace looked at Jared.
“You okay?”
Jared nodded.
“I’m fine.”
James whispered,
“Binace just saved you.”
Henry whispered back,
“Please don’t make it weird.”
James nodded seriously.
“I make everything weird.”
Jared laughed.
Binace smiled.
And suddenly the students who had been teasing Jared walked away.
For once, someone had defended kindness instead of mocking it.
Chapter 4: The Family Weekend 😭😂
Every weekend, I visited my best friend Mary.
Mary had been my friend for years.
No matter what happened, she was always there.
That Saturday afternoon, I walked into her house carrying a bag of snacks.
Mary opened the door.
“Tiana!”
“Mary!”
We hugged.
Then Mary looked at my bag.
“What did you bring?”
“Snacks.”
“Good.”
She grabbed the bag immediately.
I stared at her.
“You didn’t even invite me inside.”
“Snacks first. Friendship second.” 😂
We both laughed.
Meanwhile, back home, Jordan was trying to control the children.
“Everyone,” he announced, “I have an important question.”
Hagar looked up from his phone.
“What?”
“Who broke the lamp?”
Silence.
Enosh looked at Jared.
Jared looked at Nora.
Nora looked at the ceiling.
Jordan narrowed his eyes.
“Nora?”
“I didn’t break it.”
“Then who did?”
She pointed toward Hagar.
“Him.”
Hagar jumped up.
“WHAT?!”
“I saw you near it.”
“I was walking past it!”
“You walked aggressively.”
“What does that even mean?!”
Enosh covered his mouth.
James wasn’t even there, but somehow the family still had enough chaos to compete with him.
Hagar glared at Nora.
“You’re unbelievable.”
Nora crossed her arms.
“And you’re dramatic.”
Jordan sighed.
“Everybody calm down.”
Then the dog barked.
Everyone jumped.
Jordan looked at the broken lamp.
“I have one more question.”
“What?” Hagar asked.
“Why is there a football beside the lamp?”
Nobody answered.
Finally, Enosh said:
“…Richard’s fault?”
Everyone stared at him.
Enosh shrugged.
“I don’t know. It sounded convincing.” 😂
Chapter 5: Hagar’s Secret Anger 😡
Hagar had a difficult relationship with me.
He often acted as though he couldn’t stand me.
Whenever I asked him to clean his room:
“I’m busy.”
Whenever I asked him to come downstairs:
“Why?”
Whenever I tried to talk to him:
“Later.”
Sometimes his words hurt.
But I knew there was something beneath his anger.
One evening, I found him sitting alone outside.
I sat beside him.
He didn’t look at me.
“What do you want?”
“Nothing.”
“Then why are you here?”
“Because you’re my son.”
He rolled his eyes.
“I don’t need anyone watching me.”
“I know.”
Silence.
After a while, Hagar finally spoke.
“You don’t understand me.”
I looked at him.
“Maybe not yet.”
He looked surprised.
“But I’m still trying,” I said.
Hagar looked away.
For a moment, the anger disappeared from his face.
He just looked tired.
Then he stood up.
“I’m going inside.”
I nodded.
“Okay.”
He walked away.
It wasn’t a miracle.
It didn’t fix everything.
But sometimes, the smallest moment can be the beginning of something bigger.
Chapter 6: Richard’s Big Challenge 🏃♂️🏆
At school, another major event was coming.
The annual sports competition.
And everybody knew one thing:
Richard was the best athlete in school.
He was fast, confident, and incredibly competitive.
James whispered to Jared,
“Do you think Richard ever walks?”
Henry looked at him.
“What do you mean?”
“I think he runs everywhere.”
Jared laughed.
During practice, Richard noticed Jared.
“You should join the race.”
Jared pointed at himself.
“Me?”
“Yes.”
“I don’t think I’m very good at sports.”
Richard smiled.
“That’s why you should try.”
Jared hesitated.
Then he nodded.
“Okay.”
On the day of the competition, the field was packed.
Students were cheering.
Teachers were organizing teams.
Binace was helping coordinate the event.
Zanop was sitting with some classmates.
James and Henry were yelling louder than everyone else.
“JARED!”
Henry shouted,
“YOU BETTER WIN!”
James added,
“OR AT LEAST FINISH WITHOUT COLLAPSING!” 😂
Jared laughed nervously.
“Thanks for the encouragement!”
Richard stood beside him.
“Just focus.”
The whistle blew.
Everyone started running.
Richard immediately took the lead.
Jared kept going.
He wasn’t the fastest.
But he didn’t stop.
Halfway through the race, another student tripped.
Jared stopped.
He helped the student get back up.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes.”
“Come on!”
They continued.
Jared eventually crossed the finish line far behind Richard.
But the crowd cheered.
Binace clapped.
Zanop smiled.
James was screaming like they had just won the Olympics.
“THAT’S MY FRIEND!”
Henry laughed.
“He didn’t even win!”
James pointed at Jared.
“He won something better!”
“What?”
“Respect!”
Jared smiled.
Richard walked over.
“You stopped to help someone.”
Jared nodded.
“Yeah.”
Richard smiled.
“That was more impressive than winning.”
For once, nobody mocked Jared.
Instead, everyone applauded.
Chapter 7: The Unexpected Announcement 📢😱
After the competition, the principal stepped onto the stage.
“Students, I have an announcement.”
Everyone became quiet.
“This year’s school charity project will be led by…”
He paused dramatically.
“…Jared.”
Jared nearly fell over.
“WHAT?!”
James screamed.
Henry laughed.
Binace clapped.
Zanop smiled.
Richard gave him a thumbs-up.
The principal continued.
“Jared has shown exceptional kindness, responsibility, and respect.”
Jared looked shocked.
“But…”
James whispered,
“Bro, you’re famous now.”
Jared whispered back,
“Please stop.”
“You’ve become Binace.”
Binace overheard.
“Excuse me?”
James froze.
“I meant… extremely responsible.”
Binace laughed.
Everyone started laughing.
Even Jared.
Chapter 8: The Family Secret 🤫
That evening, I returned home from Mary’s house.
Jordan was waiting in the living room.
“Tiana,” he said.
“Yes?”
“We need to talk.”
I immediately became worried.
“What happened?”
He pointed toward the stairs.
“Hagar, Enosh, Jared, and Nora are all hiding upstairs.”
I blinked.
“Why?”
Jordan shook his head.
“I don’t know.”
We climbed the stairs quietly.
Then we heard whispering.
“Is it ready?”
“Almost.”
“Don’t let Mom see!”
“She’s coming!”
I opened the door.
Everyone froze.
Jared was holding a cake.
Nora was holding balloons.
Enosh had confetti.
And Hagar stood in the middle of the room looking extremely embarrassed.
I stared.
“What is all this?”
Jared smiled.
“We wanted to surprise you.”
I looked at Hagar.
He shrugged.
“Don’t make a big deal about it.”
My eyes filled with tears.
“You all…”
Nora interrupted.
“Mom, please don’t cry. The cake is already emotional enough.” 😂
I laughed through my tears.
Jordan smiled.
“Happy weekend, Tiana.”
I hugged all of them.
Even Hagar.
At first, he stood stiffly.
Then he quietly hugged me back.
It lasted only a few seconds.
But to me, it meant everything.
I realized something that night.
A family doesn’t have to be perfect.
Sometimes families argue.
Sometimes people say things they don’t mean.
Sometimes children make mistakes.
Sometimes parents make mistakes too.
But love doesn’t disappear just because things get difficult.
And our family?
We were messy.
Loud.
Ridiculous.
And absolutely chaotic.
But we were together. ❤️
🌈 The Next Monday…
Jared returned to school.
James immediately ran toward him.
“JARED!”
“What?”
“We’re famous!”
Henry looked confused.
“Why are you saying that?”
James pointed at Jared.
“He’s the charity project leader!”
Henry smiled.
“Oh yeah.”
Jared laughed.
“It’s not a big deal.”
Then Binace walked over.
“Ready for the first meeting?”
Jared nodded.
“Absolutely.”
Zanop joined them.
“Need help?”
Jared smiled.
“Sure.”
They walked toward the classroom together.
James watched them.
Then he whispered to Henry:
“Should we follow?”
Henry shook his head.
“No.”
James nodded.
“Good idea.”
They both turned around.
Five seconds later, James said:
“Let’s follow them.”
Henry sighed.
“Of course.” 😂
And as Jared walked into the classroom with his friends, he had no idea just how much his life was about to change.
Because being kind had finally made people notice him.
And the biggest surprise?
Someone at school was secretly planning something that could change everything for his family…
But that story was only beginning. 👀🔥
TO BE CONTINUED… 🌟📖✨
