The Dice

May 5th, 2009. It was a hot, sunny day out in Pennsylvania and Danny was inside his house doing nothing but playing video games and eating chips. But recently Danny decided to do something new, he decided to get into DND, he was just waiting for his dice to arrive.

Danny hears the door bell ring and he paused inFamous, putting down his bag of chips and leaving his room. He dusts off the crumbs from his face and shirt and arrives at his front door, opening the door and leaving his house to his mailbox.

Danny opens his mail box and pulls out a small package from the mailbox, closing the mailbox and taking the small package inside. Danny sets the small package on the kitchen counter and gets a knife, cutting the package open. He pulls out a set of red DND dice with white text, the dice looked nice but felt like plastic.

“Huh, not as high quality as I thought they would be…” Danny says in a slightly disappointed way as he inspected the dice. He then notices a piece of paper in the box, he puts down the dice and picks off the small piece of paper and reads it. “Be careful what you roll for,” Danny reads. “The heck dose that supposed to mean?” Danny asks himself.

Later, Danny went over to his friend Will’s house to play DND with his friends Connor and Sally. “Oh, you didn’t have to buy a set of dice Danny.” Will says to Danny. “Yeah I know, but I wanted a set of my own.” Danny replied as the four got ready to play DND.

The four go on to play DND, with Danny and the others having a good time. Danny was having fun rolling his dice, which was strange because he didn’t think he would have fun rolling dice. After the session, everyone went home, with Danny carrying the dice set in his left pocket. “That was fun, I wish I had a sword like my character.” Danny says, unaware that his dice set in his pocket glowed. Danny then trips on something and falls over. “Ow! What the heck was that?!” Danny exclaims as he looks over and sees…A sword?” What the heck?” Danny asks as he gets up and goes to the sword, picking it up and examining it.

“Wait a minute, this is the same sword that my character has!” Danny exclaims as he then takes it home. “How the hell did it end up on the ground?” Danny thinks as he goes to his room. He puts his new sword next to his bed stand and he puts the dice on the small table in his room.

Later, Danny goes to sleep and he has weird dreams about the dice. The dice were spinning, making a red glow as lights flew around Danny. “What the heck…?” Danny says as he reaches out to the dice, waking up from the weird dream. He groaned as he realized he fell out of the bed and onto the floor.

“What was all of that?” Danny asks as he looks at the dice set on his table. “Wait a minute…” Danny thinks as he goes over to the dice set. “What was that dream about?” Danny asks as he then rolls the dice, the D20 lands on a 1 and Danny hears a voice.

“Figure it out yourself, ask next time.” The voice says as Danny looks around. “What the?!” Danny exclaims as he picks up the D20. “Where did that voice come from?” Danny asks as he rolls the dice again, the D20 lands on a 10. “The dice, the dice.” The voice says as Danny starts to realize what was going on.

“Wait, the dice! The D20 is magical!” Danny exclaims as he holds it up. “I wish I had a PS2!” Danny says as he rolls the dice again, it hits a 12 and a PS2 appears on his bed, but it was broken. “Huh…It seems that the quality of my wishes depends on the number that the dice lands on…” Danny says as he picks up the PS2. “I need to show my friends this!” Danny says as he then looks to his clock to see that it was 3:45 in the morning. “Right, maybe later though…” Danny says as he puts the PS2 aside and then goes back to bed. The next day, Danny takes the PS2 to his friend Connor, bringing his D20 with him.

Connor looks at the PS2 and opens it up to fix it. “So Danny, where did you even get this?” Connor asks. “Watch this.” Danny says as he pulls out his D20. “I wish for a bottle of water.” Danny said as he rolled the dice, Connor looked confused as the Dice hit a 18 and a bottle of water appeared in Danny’s hand.

“What the fuck?!” Connor exclaims as Danny examines the water bottle. “Yeah the Dice is magical, but the quality of the wish seems to depend on the number that I roll.” Danny says as Connor was then impressed. “Could I give it a try?” Connor asks. “Yeah sure.” Danny says as he hands it over to Connor.

“I wish for a motorcycle.” Connor said as he rolled the dice and it hit a 1, but nothing happened. “Huh, maybe try that again.” Danny says. “Hmmm.” Connor says as he picks up the dice. “I wish for a motorcycle.” Connor says again as he rolls the dice again, the dice hits a 15, but nothing happens. “Huh, I guess it only works for you.” Connor says as he picks up and hands the D20 to Danny.

“I guess so.” Danny says as he takes the dice and Connor goes back to fixing the PS2. “But I will say, be careful with the dice.” Connor says. “I do remember getting a note with this that said something about being careful what I roll for.” Danny said as Connor stopped and looked at Danny.

“Did it actually come with a note that said that?” Connor asks. “Yeah it did, be careful what you roll for.” Danny replies as Connor chuckles. “Man, that’s brilliant!” Connor chuckles as he gets back to fixing up the PS2. Danny thanks Connor and takes the PS2 back home, putting it with his PS3.

“Maybe I should ask it again.” Danny said to himself as he got ready to roll the dice. “What was my dream about?” Danny asks as he rolls the dice, the dice hitting a 20! “The dice is a magical and all powerful wish granter that only you can use.” The voice says. “It will grant you wishes, but the quality of the wish depends on what number the dice lands on.” The voice follows up.

“Well, I figured that out myself pretty well.” Danny says as he picks up the dice. “Do not let the dice get damaged, or else…” The voice says as Danny was confused. “Or else what?” Danny asks, not getting a reply. “Alright then…” Danny says to himself.

Later, Danny went over to wWill’s house for another DND session, but this time, he had to show Will and Sally the power of his D20. “Alright so Connor has been telling us this dice is magical apparently.” Will says. “Well yeah, it is.” Danny says. “I’ll have to see it to believe it.” Sally says, being sceptical as Danny makes a wish.

“I wish we all had a set of golden DND dice.” Danny says as he rolls the dice, it hits a 2 and pieces of one set of a golden DND dice set appear on the table. “Woah!” Will exclaim s. “Fascinating…” Sally says. “Yeah, the wish quality depends on the number that the dice lands on.” Danny says as Connor picks up the broken golden dice.

“But there is also the voice.” Danny says as the others look at him. “What?” Sally asks. “Yeah there is this voice that seems to be inside the dice…” Danny says. “I had a weird dream last night about the dice, and I have to be careful with the dice.” Danny says. “Be careful in what way?” Will asks. “Do not damage it.” Danny says. “Or what?” Connor asks. “That’s the thing, I don’t know.” Danny says. “Maybe something bad will happen?” Will asks. “I don’t know, but honestly I don’t want to find out.” Danny says.

“Now, let’s start the session shall we?” Will asks as Danny and the others nod. They had their DND session, but this time they were being careful with how they rolled the dice so they didn’t chip it or anything. But then, Will accidentally drops it on the ground and a burst of energy comes out of it.

They are knocked out of their chairs and on the ground. “Ow…” Will groans as Danny looks at the dice to see it had a crack in it. “Oh no…” Danny says as he picks up the dice. “WHat was that?” Connor asks. “I don’t know, but the dice is cracked…” Danny says as the others look at it in concern.

“Well…Nothing seems to be happening…” Connor says as Sally starts to fan herself. “Sally? You ok?” Danny asks. “Yeah it’s just…I feel so hot.” Sally says as her boobs started to grow. “Uhhhhhhh….” Danny said as Sally looked at Danny and the others. “What?” Sally asks as her ass begins to enlarge.

Sally realized what was happening to her and she screams, her boobs and ass cheeks start to become D20 shaped. “What the hell?!” Will exclaims as Sally began to cough, she feel to her knees as she started to cough out D20 dice, the three men stare in horror as Sally begins puking out dice, her body deflating as her boobs and ass checks become big D20s that fall off of her deflating and rotting body.

Sally screeches as her eyes pop and D20 dice spew from her mouth and eye holes. “Oh dear god!” Will exclaims as the three run off and go to leave, only to discover that the doors were locked.” Shit the door is locked!” Connor exclaims as Danny then collapses and starts to twitch, his body begins contorting and shrinking. “Danny!” Will exclaims as Danny screeches and becomes a fleshy D20, his eyes being in the place of the 4 and the 7. “What the fuck?!” Connor exclaimed as Will groaned, his stomach started to bloat. “Will!” Connor exclaims as Will screams, he begins to inflate like a damn balloon!

Will then pops, sending guts and D20s dice flying, with the dice piercing through Connor’s body, fatally wounding him and sending him falling to the ground. But before he died, he saw some sort of humanoid creature with a D20 for a head.
