     THE ROOM THAT REMEMBERED

     THE ROOM THAT REMEMBERED

Chapter 1: The Locked Door

At exactly midnight, I heard three knocks on my bedroom door.

I lived alone.

My heart began to race when a whisper came from the other side.

"You forgot what happened here."

But I had never seen that door before.

Chapter 1: The Locked Door

It was 12 AM when I heard three knocks on my bedroom door.

I lived alone, so I wondered who could be outside.

I slowly walked towards the door and looked through the keyhole. Nobody was there.

Suddenly, my phone rang. An unknown number appeared on the screen.

I answered the call.

A strange voice whispered, "Don't open I stepped back in fear.

Then someone knocked again.

This time, the voice came from inside my room.

truben21: It took me a while to get into the flow of this story, but once I did, I was hooked. The female lead step from naivety to siren was a little fast for me, but I guess it needed to be, to move the story along. I can't wait for the next story, with the cliff hanger whetting my appetite.
