After Lee Chin leaves, Do Yun says, “Look, even Lee Chin doesn’t believe you. How will anyone else believe you, then?”
Min Jung replies, “You never let your father speak! Whenever I try to say something, you always find a way to argue with me.”
Do Yun says, “I want to, but what can I do? Then I remember that you’re my mother’s husband.”
Min Jung says, “We made a mistake by giving birth to you!”
Do Yun replies, “Dad, I think you’ve forgotten something. Let me remind you. If my mother was at fault, you were even more responsible than her.”
Min Jung says, “We made a mistake by giving birth to you? It would have been better if we had never made that mistake in the first place!”
Then Do Yun says, “Dad, this isn’t the time to argue with each other. We should be thinking about Lee Chin.”
Min Jung replies, “For the first time today, you’ve said something sensible. How did you suddenly become so intelligent?”
Do Yun says, “I don’t know. Sometimes I wonder whether you’re really my dad or not.”
Min Jung says, “You idiot! You’re my own flesh and blood!”
Meanwhile, Lee Chin is thinking to herself.
If I agree to Min Jung’s proposal, I could benefit a lot. I might get a new life, and I could also receive love from Shara Kim’s family.
Then she thinks again.
But using someone else’s name is wrong. What will happen if I use Shara Kim’s identity to get everything I want? At least I might finally experience some happiness.
After thinking about everything, Lee Chin returns to Min Jung and Do Yun. They are still standing there, talking to each other.
Lee Chin walks up to them and says, “I accept your proposal.”
Hearing this, Min Jung and Do Yun become extremely happy.
Min Jung then starts thinking about whom they should contact first.
Do Yun says, “Let’s call Shara Kim’s parents.”
Min Jung replies, “No. Shara Kim’s parents won’t believe us. We should contact Kim Taehyung first. He firmly believes that Shara Kim is still alive. There’s a chance he might believe us.”
Lee Chin asks, “Who is Kim Taehyung?”
Min Jung explains, “He is my wife’s brother’s son, which makes him our nephew.”
Lee Chin asks again, “What is he to Shara Kim?”
Min Jung replies, “He is her husband. They had a love marriage and loved each other very much. That is why Kim Taehyung still hasn’t been able to forget Shara. Even today, his life is filled with memories of her.”
After hearing this, Lee Chin begins thinking about Kim Taehyung. Many thoughts start running through her mind.
What will I do if someone becomes suspicious of me?
Min Jung reassures her, “Kim Taehyung will never suspect you.”
Hearing this, Lee Chin agrees.
Min Jung tells Do Yun and Lee Chin to get into the car. He gets in as well, and the three of them set off for Kim Taehyung’s house.
When they arrive outside his house, Lee Chin is astonished to see such a huge mansion.
She exclaims, “What a huge house!”
Min Jung replies, “Yes. Kim Taehyung is very famous, and he is also a doctor.”
Min Jung asks the servants to let them inside. Since the servants know him, they allow them to enter. Min Jung parks the car, and after a while, the three of them go inside.
Lee Chin is told to wear a mask to cover her face. She puts it on and follows them inside.
Kim Taehyung’s mother, Mi Cha, and Yo Na are sitting there. When Yo Na sees Min Jung and Do Yun, she says angrily, “Why have you come here now? Do you think I’ll forgive every mistake you make? Do you think I’ll forget everything that happened between us and accept you again?”
Min Jung laughs and replies, “I haven’t come here to take you back. I’ve come to meet Kim Taehyung.”
Hearing this, Yo Na gets up angrily and walks into another room.
After a while, Mi Cha asks Min Jung, “What business do you have with Kim Taehyung?”
Min Jung replies, “Nothing special. I simply want to meet him.”
At that moment, Mi Cha notices Lee Chin and asks, “Who is this girl?”
Min Jung replies, “You’ll find out soon enough who she is.”
Mi Cha suddenly remembers the day Yo Na came home after arguing with Min Jung. During that argument, Yo Na had also mentioned a girl. Mi Cha wonders whether this is the same girl Min Jung has been taking around with him.
After saying this, Min Jung leaves with Lee Chin and Do Yun.
Min Jung knows where Kim Taehyung is likely to be at that time, so he quickly heads towards that place.
There, Kim Taehyung is sitting beside Shara’s grave, crying. Min Jung and Do Yun approach him.
They try to comfort him. Min Jung hugs him and asks, “What if Shara Kim came back into your life again?”
Kim Taehyung replies, “What are you talking about? My wife left me. She can never come back now, and I can never forget her either.”
Lee Chin looks at Kim Taehyung and becomes lost in her own thoughts. She starts imagining a future in which she will never have to work again.
After that, Min Jung leaves Kim Taehyung there and starts heading back with Do Yun and Lee Chin.
On the way, Lee Chin asks, “We came here to meet Kim Taehyung. Why are we returning without meeting him? Why didn’t we talk to him?”
Do Yun says, “Dad, where is her mind? We’ve already met Kim Taehyung!”
Lee Chin replies, “But I didn’t meet him!”
Min Jung tells Do Yun, “Make her shut up! If Mi Cha sees her, she’ll shoot all three of us!”
Do Yun says, “Dad, what kind of person are you? You’re afraid of your own wife and even of her mother!”
Min Jung replies, “Son, you aren’t married yet. The day you get married, I’ll ask you the same question!”
Then the three of them get into the car.
Min Jung says, “If we bring Lee Chin in front of Kim Taehyung, perhaps he’ll finally believe us.”
Do Yun replies, “Dad, your previous idea failed. Now you’re coming up with another useless idea that won’t work either!”
Min Jung says, “Can you ever stay quiet?”
Lee Chin says, “Kim Taehyung’s life is already ruined. If we interfere in his life, what if all three of us end up in serious trouble?”
Min Jung replies, “Nothing will happen to us. We aren’t doing anything wrong!”
Then Min Jung explains his plan to both of them. They understand what he wants to do and begin waiting for Kim Taehyung’s car.
As night falls, Lee Chin becomes hungry.
She says, “I want something to eat.”
Do Yun agrees, “Yes! We haven’t eaten anything since morning. We should eat something now.”
Min Jung says, “We won’t eat anything until our plan works!”
Lee Chin replies, “I don’t think he’ll come. It’s already so late.”
Do Yun says, “We’re going to starve to death! And this man is going to starve us to death too!”
Just then, Kim Taehyung comes out of his hospital.
Min Jung tells Lee Chin, “Be ready. You must do exactly what we explained to you.”
Lee Chin becomes frightened and says, “I can’t do this!”
Min Jung encourages her, “You can do it.”
Finally, Lee Chin gathers her courage and says loudly, “Yes! I can do it!”
Kim Taehyung gets into his car and prepares to leave. At that moment, Lee Chin deliberately steps in front of his car.
The car hits Lee Chin, and Kim Taehyung immediately gets out.
Lee Chin begins pretending to be injured. When she looks at Kim Taehyung, she is completely stunned. She has never seen such a handsome man in her life. Even her boyfriend was not as handsome as him.
Kim Taehyung is equally astonished when he sees Lee Chin.
Meanwhile, Min Jung and Do Yun are watching everything from their car in the distance.
Min Jung exclaims, “Our plan worked!”
Do Yun replies, “Finally! One of your ideas actually worked. Otherwise, you would have made us starve to death today!”
Lee Chin continues pretending to be injured and says several things to Kim Taehyung. Then she demands, “Give me some money so I can get medical treatment.”
Kim Taehyung suddenly hugs her and begins crying against her shoulder. Then he lifts her into his arms and places her inside his car.
Lee Chin says angrily, “Are you crazy? First, you hit me with your car, and now you’re acting as if you care about me!”
Kim Taehyung says nothing. He simply drives towards his hospital.
Min Jung and Do Yun follow them in their own car because they want to see where Kim Taehyung is taking Lee Chin.
While driving, Kim Taehyung says to Lee Chin, “I know you’re angry with me, Shara.”
Lee Chin remains silent and says nothing.
Kim Taehyung continues, “I know you have a habit of joking around.”
Lee Chin still doesn’t respond. Seeing her silence, Kim Taehyung becomes thoughtful and worried.
When they reach the hospital, he parks the car and lifts Lee Chin into his arms, carrying her inside. Lee Chin tries hard to resist, but Kim Taehyung refuses to listen to her.
Meanwhile, Min Jung and Do Yun park their car and quickly follow them inside.
Kim Taehyung begins applying medicine to Lee Chin’s injury. Then he looks at her and asks, “Are you Shara?”
Just then, Min Jung and Do Yun arrive. They greet Kim Taehyung and then look at Lee Chin, pretending they have never seen her before.
They exclaim, “This is Shara Kim! She’s alive! Why have you been hiding this from us? You knew everything, so why didn’t you tell us?”
Kim Taehyung replies, “No, it’s nothing like that.”
Min Jung and Do Yun deliberately decide to call Mi Cha and Yo Na.
Min Jung calls Mi Cha and tells her, “Shara Kim is alive!”
Hearing this, Mi Cha becomes extremely upset and hangs up the phone.
Then Min Jung calls his wife, Yo Na, and tells her that Shara Kim is alive.
Yo Na replies, “You’ve gone crazy! There’s no hope for you!”
Do Yun overhears the entire conversation and says to his father, “I told you so, Dad! Nobody believes anything you say!”
Min Jung replies, “You really are an idiot!”
Then Kim Taehyung says, “Don’t call anyone else now, because nobody at home will believe what we’re saying.”
Min Jung suggests, “Let’s take Shara Kim to your house. Then everyone will believe us.”
Kim Taehyung replies, “But Shara is angry with me. That’s why she isn’t even speaking to me.”
Min Jung says, “No, she’s just joking with you. That’s all.”
Hearing this, Lee Chin also says, “Yes, I was only joking with you.”
She understands Min Jung’s signal and agrees with him.
After that, all four of them prepare to leave. They get into the car and head towards Kim Taehyung’s house.
When they arrive, they find the entire house beautifully decorated.
Lee Chin asks, “Why is the whole house decorated so beautifully? Is it because I’ve come back?”
Kim Taehyung replies, “No, today is a special occasion. Today is my engagement.”
Min Jung and Do Yun are shocked to hear this.
Do Yun says, “Your engagement is today? Earlier, Mom used to tell us everything herself, but now she doesn’t tell us anything!”
Then Shara says, “What need is there for me anymore? In that case, it would be better for me to leave.”
Kim Taehyung replies, “It isn’t what you think. I have never even thought about another woman besides you. You were the only one in my life before, you are the only one in my life today, and you will always be the only one.”
Kim Taehyung parks the car, and all four of them enter the house.
Many people are gathered inside. The important members of Kim Taehyung’s family are also present.
Mi Cha is Kim Taehyung’s mother. Kim Go-eun is his grandmother. Kim Go-eun is also his sister. His parents are present there as well.
Lee Ji is Kim Taehyung’s life partner, and their engagement is supposed to take place that day. Park Shin-hye is his aunt, Park Seo-joon is his uncle, and Park Bo-gum is their son. Lee Ji is also their daughter.
