Don’t leave me again,sis…
Chapter 1 — Don’t Leave Me Again, Sis
Thirteen years.
That was how long they had been separated.
And now, after all those years, Gio and Frisca were finally standing face to face, alone in a softly lit bedroom.
Neither of them spoke.
They simply stared at each other.
Frisca’s fingers curled around Gio’s black tie, holding him close enough to feel the warmth of his breath.
Once, those same fingers had held the hand of a little boy who followed her everywhere.
Her little Gio.
The boy she had always thought of as a younger brother.
But that boy had grown up.
The man before her was taller, stronger, and impossibly handsome. His dark hair fell carelessly across his forehead, and his blue-gray eyes held a longing that thirteen years had failed to erase.
Frisca, meanwhile, looked almost exactly as she had when they parted.
Time had changed him.
But it had never touched her.
Gio slowly leaned closer.
Their eyes met one last time before their lips touched.
A kiss.
Gentle at first.
Almost disbelieving.
When they pulled apart, neither looked away.
Gio searched her face, as though trying to convince himself she was truly there.
Frisca’s fingers tightened around his tie.
Then they kissed again.
This time, she did not hesitate.
The distance between them vanished as Gio drew her closer. Her hands found his shoulders, and the years of separation seemed to dissolve in the warmth of their embrace.
When their lips parted, Gio lifted his hand.
His fingers slipped gently through her hair, brushing the soft strands away from her face.
He traced her cheek with his thumb.
Frisca looked up at him.
In his eyes, she could still see the little boy she had once protected.
She remembered the seventeen-year-old who had fallen in love with her.
And now, standing before her, was the grown man who had never stopped loving her.
Gio’s expression softened.
His voice was barely more than a whisper.
“Don’t leave me again, Sis…”
The words pierced her heart.
For thirteen years, she had tried to forget the sound of his voice.
Yet that familiar word brought everything rushing back.
Sis.
He had called her that since childhood.
But tonight, the way he looked at her was no longer innocent.
Frisca said nothing.
Instead, she reached for him.
Gio pulled her into another kiss.
This one was different.
There was no uncertainty left between them.
He held her tightly, and she clung to him as though afraid the moment might disappear.
Their kisses grew more urgent.
Step by step, they moved backward until the edge of the bed caught behind them.
Gio drew Frisca closer, and together they tumbled onto the soft mattress.
For a heartbeat, they stared at each other.
Then Frisca reached up and touched his face.
Gio kissed her again.
The room seemed to grow warmer as they held each other beneath the golden bedside light.
His fingers brushed through her hair.
Her arms wrapped around him.
Another kiss.
Then another.
Every touch carried the weight of thirteen years.
Every breath seemed to whisper the same unspoken promise.
Never again.
Outside, the city continued to glow beneath the night sky.
But inside that bedroom, the world had narrowed to just the two of them.
The bedside light faded.
And for the first time, Frisca stopped running from the love she had spent so many years denying.
That night, they finally belonged to the same moment in time.
Or so they believed.
Because while Gio slept peacefully beside her, time was preparing to reclaim the years it had once allowed Frisca to escape.
By morning, the woman who never aged would no longer recognize herself.
