Somewhere between us

My name is Krishna , and standing Infront of my new school , I am beginning to suspect that a fresh start is just another way of saying "welcome to a brand-new set of problems"

I took a deep breath , my heart racing with the worst possibilities , Even though i had experienced changing school many times but still the uncertainty ahead scares . I released my breath that i didn't know I was holding and took a step forward with my right leg , I paused waiting for something terrible to happen nothing happen then I took another step forward and that's it a senior girl in her cycle came rushing through the road and then she fall into the large drain near ... with her head covered with moss , I guess my prediction was correct even if that thing didn't happened to me . Before more suspiciously terrible thing happen i ran straight inside the school gate only to get lost in the hallways , huff what terrible start , even though I was introvert at my previous school I still put all my courage inside me to ask a senior for my class which was 8thB. DANG-IT! it really does sound scary from the name , All the best to me . The senior I asked then showed me the way , in halfway through she called a boy over and told him to show my way to 8th B.

After i entered the class something felt uncertain , I don't know what it is but i just kept going to the window area as in previous school I used to sit there with my friends only to find that all desks there were full so a boy just told me "hey, new girl ! this way please " and had me sit with a girl who was siting on first bench near the door and wall side . I put my bag down and introduced myself "hello , my name is krishna . what's yours?" she smiled a little and replied with "Priyanshi"

Because it is raining outside the assembly was held in the class after our class teacher Shrishti mam entered well according to me she is a really cute teacher with long and glasses . She entered the class and few boys entered behind her , one boy specifically caught my attention , he was so freaking cute like really cute and his smile was so magnetic . I suddenly felt something weird in my chest like something or someone is tickling on my chest i tried to get that feeling off of me but it kept going on , I don't know why but I really thought I was dying from heart - attack

Satya ma'am tucked on that boy's ear and said "do you have any idea of what you did today ?from now on you will sit in front " pointed at our desk and told us to shift to the second bench . I quickly stacked up all my items and moved to the second seat , my deskmate moved before I did and that boy was standing next to the desk and looking at me more like down at me cause I am a shortie and he is tall super tall like a pole he opened his mouth and said "pole?" i felt my face burn I asked "Did I said it loudly?" just to add in my already destroyed new girl picture idea in my head , he smiled which was really cute and felt my heart races i quickly packed my bag and just from there put it in the second and quickly walked towards the second bench , EMBARRASSING !

Our first period started with the subject that i hated the most MATHS . While the teacher was explaining in the panel i felt my head getting cooked and then deeply friend then served in a plate but .. it turned out into coal cause it was too deeply fried , I looked aside from the panel and glanced at the front bench and saw him trying his best to solve '7square + 7 cube ' well looks like i am not the only one who doesn't understand and maybe i understand more than him .. then looked a little right and saw opened tiffin box under his desk . HE caught me staring at his tiffin and gave me an awkward my smiled i returned it with another embarrassed smile , he then said 'please, don't tell sir about me eating in the class" I nodded my head nervously and said "of course i won't hehe"

After 2-3 more periods it was finally the most exciting period GAMES woohoo , I would get to bond with my classmates too

I stood up so I can walk to the grounds .. a girl approached me she pretty cute , taller than me with a smile , from her looks i think she is nepali . She cleared her throat getting me back to my senses , she said "Hello , new girl what's your name ? my name is priya and this is my best friend Devyani" pointing at a shorter girl who is almost my height she had her hair in one ponytail , she waved at me and i waved back , I replied to priya "My name is Krishna , I hope I would get along with you " Priya giggled a little and Devyani replied "No need to be formal , from the time you entered the class we are friends" reaching her hand towards me for a handshake , I smiled and took it , looks like I would get along with students here

Priya and Devyani introduced me to other students in the whole games period and also in the lunchbreak which was after the games period , it was fun .

Slowly , slowly time went too fast , and it was time for leave and end of the school , I enjoyed today hope I will enjoy tomorrow too while thinking that i tried to search for my van which was in the parking lot ... I tried my best to search and lost track of it , well i really suck at recognising things surrounded by almost same looking things , when I finally found it I got to meet a boy named Bhaskar , we talked a little he was kinda funny , and also i met tara and the twins kirti and karthik even though they were twins they looked too different ... kirti had lighter skin tone , with softer voice , and taller height while karthik had darker skin , with louder voice and shorter height than kirti . Karthik was too much like a trouble maker and like Bhaskar says has two screw lose in his brain

After reaching home I told my mom about everything that happened today of course except that cute boy part but i still barged about him hehe
