Chapter 1
Wonders of love
Introduction
Love is wonderful, but when ? Only when the person we loved walks with us until the very end without letting go of our hand. There is no such thing as a life without hardship.Only those people who overcome such a huge hardship will know the value of life . Love is also the same, love has hardships too and that love stays only if we cross them until the very end. But that is not as easy as we think. In any relationship, if there is love from only one person , it is not enough, both people must love each other equally. Only then that love truly exists.
Love should not be given up before marriage just because parents create problems. To be honest in such cases girls are often asked to take a step back more than boys. But that doesn't mean every girl should do so, doesn't it ? Many people who were raised with great love and affection by their parents, assume that their parents' love is greater than anything else and give up on their relationship. Yet there are few people who continue to fight for their love until the very end. No matter how many difficulties they face.
And that is one such love story.
The main characters
Radha :- she is a very good girl. She has never gone against the words of her parents. Since she was born many years after their marriage, her parents raised her with lots of love and affection.
Krishna:- has no father , he has only his mother. Despite growing up without father's presence, his mother raised him with immense love , never letting him feel that he was missing something in life.
However, because Krishna has been unaware of his responsibilities since childhood, his mother is always worried about what his future might look like.
Let's see how Radha and Krishna , two people raised with completely different circumstances, meet and where their journey takes them.
The story
Radha has an interest in playing the piano. Asked her parents permission for classes they agreed, whereas even though Krishna has no special interest in it, he goes along because his mother has told him to. He cannot bring himself to say no to her.
First meeting
On the very first day , the two meet, they don't know each other, but their first meeting ends in an argument.
Krishna's friend teases Radha's friend Kavya. Realizing this, Radha mistakenly thinks Krishna did it and shouts loudly at him, fighting with him.
Meanwhile, Kavya comes right there and tells Radha that Krishna has nothing to do with that fight. Radha says sorry to Krishna.
Since it was a mistake, Krishna lets go of that fight right there.
The fight that happened due to a misunderstanding turns into friendship between the two. The first step of any love is friendship... that friendship itself turns into love! A good friendship started between Radha and Krishna. They go to classes together and return home together, a few days pass like this.
Conflict and trouble
One day, while returning late from class, a boy named Shankar approaches Radha and talks to her obscenely. Seeing this, Krishna warns the boy, threatening to file a police complaint if he follows Radha again. Frightened, the boy leaves.
Radha thanks Krishna, but Krishna asks, "Who is that boy? Why is he following you? Why is he talking to you as if he is very well acquainted with you?"
Radha replies, "That boy is our relative, but I don't have much acquaintance with him... He has been blackmailing me for some days saying, 'I love you, if you don't agree I will die,' and since he doesn't listen no matter how much I tell him, he is doing this."
Krishna asks, "Why didn't you tell me even a single word about this?" Radha replies, "I didn't tell you thinking why should I tell you such things and disturb you."
Krishna assures her, "He won't come near you again; even if he comes, I will take care of it. If you have any problem with him, tell me." They part ways.
The next day, as Krishna is coming to class, three unknown people attack him.
Escalation and confrontation
Radha eventually realizes that this was all Shankar's plan.
Enraged, Krishna files a case against Shankar, but Shankar manages to walk free using his family's influence. From that moment on, Shankar's grudge against Krishna grows even more.
To keep Radha from worrying, Krishna hides what happened, but Kavya tells Radha everything.
Radha immediately confronts Krishna: "Even if you asked, if you had just ignored Shankar that day, this matter wouldn't have escalated to this point, right?"
Krishna replies, "If you see trouble coming to the people I care about, do you think I'll just stand by and watch?" With that, he leaves.
That evening, while Radha is walking, Shankar intercepts them and warns Krishna never to talk to or roam around with Radha again.
Krishna fires back: "Who are you? What is it to you? Besides, why should I listen to what you say?" and walks away.
Police involvement and clearing the air
Later, a police officer visits Krishna's house, claiming Radha's parents sent a warning that Krishna was troubling her.
Krishna explains, "We are just good friends, you are misunderstanding." Just then, Radha arrives and snaps at the officer: "My parents know nothing about Krishna—who are you anyway, and who told you to come here?"
Radha receives a call from Shankar, who admits he is the one behind the police warning. Radha tells Krishna, "I have no trouble because of you, you can go wherever you want," and sends him off.
Fed up, Radha confronts Shankar directly: "What is your problem anyway? Who I roam around with, what is it to you?"
Shankar replies, "I have been loving you for many days, and I didn't like you roaming around with some new guy without caring about me at all."
Radha responds, "It's fine if you like me, but I don't have feelings for you. I hope you will understand me someday."
Shankar apologizes for causing her so much trouble. Radha tells him, "Put aside all the feelings you have for me, let's just remain good friends," and Shankar agrees.
Seeing this positive change, Radha feels happy and goes to share the news with Krishna. While Krishna acts happy on the outside, deep down he remains suspicious of Shankar.
Ultimately, the friendship between Radha and Krishna blossoms into love.
Confession and realization
On Radha's birthday, she thinks of expressing her love. Krishna also thinks of expressing his love to Radha on that same day.
On Krishna's birthday, Radha wishes him and says, "I wanted to tell you something for many days". Krishna says, "I also wanted to tell you one thing, but I didn't know what you would say; since it's my birthday today, I am telling you with the courage of asking what you will say".
Radha says, "You tell me whatever you wanted to say". Krishna says, "You tell me first." "First you tell me," "No you tell me," "You tell me"—saying this, both of them argue for a long time, and finally both of them think of closing their eyes and telling at once.
Both of them say "I love you" at the same time, open their eyes, look at each other, and laugh.
Radha asks, "Did you like me from back then?" Krishna replies, "When Shankar attacked me, you were so worried about what would happen to me, right there you liked me very much".
Radha also says, "When Shankar teased me, you could have thought 'why do I need this' and walked away, but you didn't do that, that's why I liked you". Like that, both of them spend that day talking.
College and long distance
After a few days, Radha's college starts, and Krisha calls Radha and asks her, "Why haven't you been coming to classes for the past 2 days?"
Radha replies, "I didn't stop coming to classes permanently, they gave holidays before my college started, that's why I joined. My college has started now".
Krishna says, "Alright then, shall we meet today?" Radha says, "We can't meet every time like we used to before".
Krishna asks why. She says, "I am not in our town, I left our town and came to Hyderabad for my studies".
Krishna says, "When you are not there, where will I be and what will I do? I will also come right to where you are". Radha asks, "Even if you leave your town, what will we do and why are you saying you will come wherever I am?"
Krishna says, "I will also come right there, do some job, and stay by your side as a companion". But Radha says, "How suddenly did you come to Hyderabad, how will you get a job, and even if you get one, where will you stay?"
Krishna replies, "A friend of mine I know is right there, if I say just one word he will take care of everything, and if you say just one word I will come".
Radha says, "I had to tell you, after you tell me, it's your wish". Krishna says, "I will tell my mother and start looking after work there in one week".
Radha says, "I will call you after I come from college". Krishna also says okay and cuts the call.
Moving to Hyderabad
Krishna tells his mother, "I am thinking of going to Hyderabad to do a job after 1 week, once I get settled there I will take you there too".
His mother asks, "Even if you go for a job and don't get settled, you can do something right here itself, is there any need to go to Hyderabad for that?"
Krishna replies, "Even so, I will be alone there, my friend will also be with me," and somehow convinces her.
In the evening, he calls Radha and tells her, and Radha also feels happy. Like that, both of them are in a long-distance relationship for a few days.
Suddenly, Radha gets a call telling her, "Look right down at your house". When Radha goes down and looks, she sees Krishna with his luggage. Radha is left in shock.
Reunion and new beginnings
Radha gives Krishna a very tight hug. Krishna asks, "Will you keep me outside like this “?
Radha stays in a room with her friend, and she takes him right inside the house where they are staying.
Krishna asks, "Where did you get a job?" Krishna replies, "Everything got set up for me to stay there, a job got seted too with a monthly salary of 70k, and I am taking a house here today, if we check it today we can give the advance," he tells her, and Radha feels very happy.
"Alright then, it's getting late for my college," Radha tells him, to which Krishna replies, "Alright, you get ready, I will drop you, check out the house on the way, and then go to work". Radha gets ready, and Krishna drops her at college.
In the evening, Radha calls Krishna to say her college is done, and Krishna goes to pick her up.
Radha's friends ask who he is, and Radha introduces Krishna to her friends.
After going home in the evening, while talking to Krishna on the call, suddenly Radha's mother calls her on the other line.
Saying "My mummy is calling," Krishna cuts the call.
Her mother asks, "You have changed a lot lately; you don't even remember that we exist. Also, when I called you, who were you on the call with?"
Radha replies, "I was talking to my friend."
Her mother says, "Lately, whenever I call you, it always comes busy... be a little careful," and cuts the call.
Growing fear and parental confrontation
The next day, Krishna goes to pick up Radha, and they are happy for a few days.
One day Radha says, "I don't feel like going to college today; take me somewhere outside."
They go to a park near Krishna's house and sit on a bench talking.
Meanwhile, Radha's mother calls and tells her, "Wherever you are right now, come urgently to your room, I am coming and will be there in 3 hours."
Radha gets very scared and doesn't know what to do.
Krishna tells her, "Whenever it is, go home quickly. If there is any problem, call me and I will come and talk."
Radha leaves with a lot of fear.
When she reaches home, her mother asks, "Every day I take you to college and bring you back, who is this?"
Not knowing what to say, Radha says he is her friend.
Her mother asks, "You never talk to boys at all; if there's anything, you would tell me. How did some boy become your friend without my knowledge?"
Radha says they met when she went to piano classes.
Her mother asks, "Tell me the truth, is he really your friend or are you hiding something else from me?"
Radha says the truth is that he is indeed her friend.
Her mother asks, "Then why didn't you go to college today and instead went there?"
The truth revealed and seperation
Radha says she just went outside.
Her mother beats her in anger, asking angrily, "Who did you go with? Did you tell me who that boy is or not?"
With no other option left, she tells her everything.
Without saying anything further, her mother immediately tells her, "Take all your belongings and come, we are going back to our home. You shouldn't stay anywhere here."
Radha refuses to listen despite everything.
For a few days, both of them remain without talking.
Radha is sent away outside, and no one gives her a mobile phone.
Krishna asks Radha's friends about her, and her roommate tells him everything that happened.
A secret message and confrontation
Krishna doesn't know what to do and is left stranded.
He thinks that Radha might have forgotten him by now and feels very sad within himself.
After a few days, Krishna suddenly receives a message from Radha: "I don't have a mobile at all here; even today, with great difficulty and taking a risk, I am messaging you. Please come somehow and talk about us."
The next morning, Krishna goes to Radha's house, where Radha's mother is present.
Krishna goes right up to her and asks, "Aunty, is Radha there?"
Her mother asks, "Who are you?"
Krishna replies, "I am Krishna. Radha and I have been in love for 3 years; if you agree, we can even get married..."
Krishna's request and family opposition
Her mother rejects him, saying, "It won't work out between you and us, son, your caste is different and our caste is different".
Krishna questions why caste is still being brought up in this generation and pleads for them to let him marry her, promising to take good care of her without letting her face any trouble.
Radha's father is not home yet, but expected in an hour; Radha asks Krishna to leave and come back then, but Krishna refuses to budge and stays put until he arrives.
When Radha's father arrives, everything that happened is explained to him.
Her father angrily refuses to accept their love for marriage and tells Krishna to get out immediately.
Krishna firmly insists that he and their daughter love each other deeply and wish to marry.
Meanwhile, Radha comes outside, and when her father asks what she intends to do, she bravely declares that she loves Krishna and will only marry him if they agree.
Enraged, her father hits Radha and angrily asks if that boy has become more important to her than her family, before pushing Krishna away and telling him to drop the matter.
With no other option left, a heartbroken Krishna returns to his hometown, deeply saddened and feeling like he has lost everything.
Heart break and family pressure
When Krishna's mother notices his condition and asks about it, he tells her everything that transpired.
His mother offers to go and talk to Radha's parents herself, but Krishna stops her, saying they would only insult her and send her away.
Back at home, Radha sits alone in her room, refusing to eat anything despite her mother's repeated attempts.
Her father tells her to forget Krishna, be happy, and marry the man chosen by the family, but Radha replies that forgetting Krishna is impossible.
Her father tries to pressure her by bringing up caste pride, saying, "His caste is lower than ours; tomorrow if you both marry, I will lose face in front of our caste people".
Radha smiles at this, asking whether his societal prestige and what others think matter more to him than her own happiness.
Her father is left speechless, but ultimately tells Krishna once more that the marriage will never happen, driving him away.
The next day, Radha goes missing, sending her parents into a panic as they search everywhere and find her phone switched off.
A desperate step and realization
After searching many places, her parents finally spot her near some distant hills.
Her father runs toward her and pulls her away safely just in time.
When Radha asks why he saved her instead of letting her fall, she confesses, "I cannot leave you for Krishna, nor can I abandon Krishna for you. That is why I thought if I shouldn't be a burden to anyone, I should just die".
Touched by how deeply she loves Krishna and realizing the severity of her pain, her father's stubbornness finally breaks.
He admits that their ego has lost to her love, and promises to talk to Krishna's parents immediately to arrange their marriage.
Radha hugs her father tightly, feeling overwhelming joy.
Radha's parents visit Krishna's house to apologize for their harsh behavior during his previous visit.
Krishna graciously replies that any parents would naturally react defensively when someone steps in to love the daughter they raised for years.
Radha's parents then share the good news: they want to get their daughter Radha married to him.
Joyful reunion
Hearing this, Krishna is overcome with emotion and joy, completely speechless, and falls at the feet of Radha's parents to thank them.
Radha's mother tells him, "We never knew both of you loved each other this much; our daughter loved you enough to even risk her life for you".
Upon learning about Radha's suicide attempt, Krishna gets angry and lightly scolds Radha, reminding her that human life is precious and they could have found a way together without resorting to such extremes.
Ultimately, both sets of parents give their blessing, and Radha and Krishna get married
Final conclusion
The story concludes with a powerful message: loving someone is easy, but holding onto each other's hands through every hardship, facing problems together, and fighting all the way to marriage is what truly matters.
While family conflicts over love marriages are common, those who stay strong and stand up for their love are rare—and true success in a relationship requires strength from both partners.
