The Day Everything Changed

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

Some experiences change your life forever. Others leave you questioning everything you once believed. After months of unexplained symptoms, strange dreams, and unanswered questions, I thought my life would eventually return to normal. Then came April 24, 2026—a day I would never forget. What followed was a journey through fear, uncertainty, family, faith, and experiences I struggled to understand. Doctors had no clear explanation, and my family was left searching for answers. As the days passed, my life became a mystery even to me. Would I ever understand what had happened to me? Inspired by my personal experiences, this is a story about the unknown, the search for truth, and the moments that change us forever.

The Beginning of Something UnKnown

Sometimes, life begins to change long before we realise that anything has changed at all.

Before those months, my life was ordinary. I followed my routines. lived with my usual thoughts, and looked at the world as I always had. I had no idea that a period of my Life Would believe me with questions I might never be able to answer completely.

The first changes were subtle.

I began feeling unusually weak. sleep, which had always been a simple part of my life, became something I could no longer control. I had never been someone who slept during the day. I would stay awake, go about my routine, and sleep only at night.

But gradually, something changed.

I started feeling sleepy almost everywhere. Sometimes, even while walking, I felt as though my body was begging me to lie down. And one I lay down, I could sleep for hours, sometimes waking only at night.

My appetite changed, too.

I wanted to eat, yet somehow I didn't. Even when I sat down for a meal, I could barely manage one or toe chapatis. I couldn't understand what was happening to me.

These changes had been developing for nearly a year, but as my tenth- Grade board examinations approached, everything seems to grow worse.

My examinations did not go the way I had hoped. I struggled to understand that what was happening inside me, and I couldn't explain why I felt so unlike myself.

After the examinations ended, the problems did not disappear.

My sleep, my appetite, my weakness, and the strange thoughts that began appearing in my dreams all became part of a life I no longer fully understood.

Some of those thoughts felt spiritual. Others left me unsettled long after I woke up.

I had no explanations for any of it.

At that time, I had no idea that these months would eventually become a dividing line in my life-a line separating the person I had been for the person I would become.

I only knew that something was wrong.

And I didn't know where to look for an answer.
