Chapter 1 - The Surprise
The episode opens with Kamika, dressed in her crisp police uniform, placing her cap on her head before standing solemnly in front of her late father’s photograph. She softly whispers “Jai Hind”, a tear slipping down her cheek. Her mother, Yashoda, enters the room and gently consoles her, reminding her that living in the past only deepens the wounds.
Kamika wipes her tears and vows, “Baba’s death may be a mystery, but whoever is responsible… I will find them. And I will punish them.” Yashoda nods silently, sharing the same determination.
After an emotional mother–daughter moment, the scene shifts to Kamika riding her Royal Enfield Bullet, sunglasses on, wind brushing past her as the intro theme begins to play.

The Kamte Family – A Happy Beginning
Next, we enter the cheerful home of the Kamte family. Preparations are in full swing for Mihir’s 10th birthday.
- Mihir’s elder sister and cousins are busy decorating the house.
- His mother Mira and Aaji prepare his favorite dishes.
- His father Akshay Kamte proudly assembles Mihir’s big surprise — a brand-new bicycle.
Laughter fills the house as cousins tease each other and Mihir’s friends arrive with colorful presents. By evening, the home glows with decorations and excitement.
During the cake-cutting ceremony, the doorbell rings. Sheromani, one of Mihir’s friends, walks in holding a neatly wrapped gift. Everyone is surprised because Sheromani usually comes empty-handed. They tease her, laugh, take pictures, and enjoy the party.
When the celebration ends and guests leave, Mihir begins opening his gifts. Excited, he chooses Sheromani’s present first. The moment he lifts the lid, he lets out a blood-curdling scream. The family rushes to him — only to recoil in horror.
Inside the box lies the severed face of a dead cat.
Mihir breaks down crying. Mira and Akshay panic. Aaji trembles, muttering anxiously,
“Yeh changal naste… kahi kaahi vait honaar.”
Something bad is coming.

At the Police Station – A Disturbance Within
Meanwhile, at the police station, Inspector Amol works on a politically sensitive MLA-related corruption case. Papers are scattered, tensions high — until the phone rings.
A frantic voice says, “Sir, my mother is missing. Please help.”
Without hesitation, Amol pushes aside the MLA files.
“Come tomorrow morning. I’ll take your case personally,” he says.
The man leaves, worried.
Kamika watches from a distance, concerned for Amol.
Suddenly, the phone rings again — it’s the same man.
“Sir… I found her. She wasn’t missing. Thank you.”
Amol sighs in relief. Kamika steps closer and softly says,
“I know why you reacted like that… You’ve been searching for your own mother for years. Cases like this disturb you.”
Amol’s composure breaks. Tears form as he whispers,
“I’m an orphan… an Anath mulga. All my life I’ve wanted just one thing — a mother’s love. I know she must be searching for me too.”
Kamika places her hand on his shoulder, calming him. For a moment, they share a silent gaze — a connection forming, deep and unspoken.

The Twist – The Beginning of the Horror
The next morning, chaos erupts in the Kamte household — Mihir is missing.
His bed is empty. His shoes are untouched. His bicycle still stands wrapped in ribbons.
The family collapses into panic. Akshay shouts, Mira screams, Aaji sobs. Everyone searches frantically, but Mihir is nowhere.
Cut to the police station. The phone rings.
Amol picks it up and freezes.
“What?” he blurts out in shock.
The screen cuts to black.
Episode 1 ends.
