My Moonbeam, My Star

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

It all started with two girls, Camille and Emelienne. Camille was the moonbeam, while Emelienne was her star. They would always stand side by side, believing that their lights were brightest when they shone together. Beneath the moon and stars, they found a love that made the world feel a little less lonely. But their bond came to mean more than just the love they shared. Camille, fierce and unafraid to speak up, taught Emelienne that her voice deserved to be heard. Emelienne, gentle but quietly strong, taught Camille that even the ones with the brightest hearts needed moments of rest. Together, they learned that no girl should have to dim her light to make the world comfortable. They wanted other girls to know it too, that passion was nothing to be ashamed of, that gentleness was not weakness, and that everyone deserved the freedom to shine in their own way. But what would happen if the moonbeam and her star were ever separated? If one had to leave for a long time, would the other’s light still shine? Would the lessons they’d learned together remain, even when they could no longer stand side by side? Perhaps their lights were never meant to depend entirely on one another. Perhaps love wasn’t about being unable to shine alone, but about choosing to shine together. And when the moon finally rose and the stars appeared, they would find their way back to the quiet place where the world seemed far away. They could hold each other close, remember all they had shared, and know that even in the darkest places, neither had truly lost the light they’d found. For the moonbeam and her star could shine apart, and still belong to the same sky.

Nous séparerons-nous un jour?

This story starts with two girls, Camille and Emelienne. The moonbeam and her star. They always held each other close. They always made sure each other was safe. They always loved each other. One day, an eerie thought went into Emelienne’s mind.

“My sweet moonbeam, do you think we’ll ever separate?” she asked nervously. “Of course not, my star,” Camille said, wrapping her warm arms around her. “Are you sure?” she asked again. “Yes, I’m sure we won’t.” She held her a bit tighter than before. “But if we ever do, know that we’ll still shine as bright as we do when we’re together.”

“Would you still remember our promises if we couldn’t see each other every night?” Emelienne asked. “Of course, my star, but I don’t want you to only remember me. I want you to remember how brightly you shine too.”

And what if I forget?”

“Then I’ll remind you whenever I can. And when I can’t be there, I hope you’ll remind yourself.”

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel
