Kira
“We attack now!”
I exclaim excitedly, my cheeks burning and my forehead slick with sweat. My body trembles with a volatile mix of excitement, fear, and a feverish pulse I haven’t felt in a long time. As I lead my rebel ship into a devastating assault on Zetrax, long-lost visions flash before my eyes: my home, my sister and parents, a lavish palace, and planet Earth ravaged by nuclear disaster.
The ship’s weapon systems ignite in bright yellow and brilliant blue, hurling fiery laser strikes like fast, powerful bolts of lightning across the dark sky.
We begin.
I am the sole survivor of my entire family, the last of our royal dynasty. I, Princess Kira, am left to carry a heavy burden that has recently felt almost unbearable.
Royal blood and pride run strong through my veins, but so do hopelessness and powerlessness as I watch aliens exploit and exhaust my people, with no solution or avenue left for resistance.
I am the only remaining ruler who refused to strike a deal with Aetheris. I am the only one left to lead the rebellion. While reckless, I could never accept alien exploitation disguised as “accommodation” or a chance for species survival.
I had to fight.
For longer than I can count, our ship drifted in orbit, carefully monitoring Aetheris and its satellite planet, Zetrax.
My tolerance shattered when a new Fertility Sector opened on Zetrax, a facility designed to recruit human women and transform their bodies into fertile geysers overflowing with sweet milk for alien consumption.
Worst of all, those women submitted without resistance, even embracing the luxuries offered once their bodies underwent the lush hucow transformation.
Anger, misery, and hatred festered inside me. It was absolute madness.
As if forcing my people to mine Aetheris ores all day wasn’t enough, they now harvested our women, turning them into milk-yielding livestock.
I had to stop it. I had to try.
The command bridge is bathed in a suffocating red glow. The air grows thick and dangerous as warning alarms blare continuously. The engines roar, and with a deafening crunch, the hull cracks, shattering into metallic fragments that float into the ether.
“Princess, we’ve been hit! We’re falling! Zetrax’s defensive grid deflected our attack. Their shields are impenetrable. The ship is going down!”
“Damn it!”
I scream in fury, drenched in sweat. Through the domed viewport of my visor, I watch pieces of the hull tear away. The deck violently shudders beneath my boots.
We plummet toward the rocky surface of Zetrax. I watch my faithful crew scrambled and incapacitated by the impacts and flying debris. Chaos, shouting, and smoke consume the bridge until a heavy metal plate detaches from the ceiling and strikes the back of my head.
I collapsed. Darkness swallows my vision, mixed with bitter smoke and the hostile green glow of desolate Zetrax, until consciousness escapes me entirely.
