At thirty-seven, Romy is finally leaving behind the town she's called home for fourteen years. A new job, a new city, and the chance to begin again. Everything she's wanted is finally within reach, even if saying goodbye proves harder than she imagined. Then, on a fog-covered October night, a chance encounter introduces her to Callum, a quietly charming architect with a past of his own. What begins with a lift home and a conversation over coffee becomes something neither expected. But with Romy's departure drawing closer, falling in love might be the one complication she never planned for. **A gentle, atmospheric romance about new beginnings, unexpected love, and discovering that sometimes the right person comes along just as you're preparing to leave.**

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
