A Note to My Readers: An Old Story, A New Home ❤️
This story was first published on my original Wattpad account in 2008 under the name Chie Arriola. Unfortunately, I have been unable to retrieve that account, but I believe this story deserves another chance to find its readers.
Originally written in my mother tongue, Tagalog, the story is now being presented in English to reach readers from different parts of the world.
This version is a republication of my earlier work, not a completely new story. Its original foundation, characters, and central storyline remain rooted in the work I first shared years ago. The English version allows me to bring that story to a wider audience while preserving the heart of what I originally wanted to tell.
As I revisit this piece of my writing history, I recognize that time has changed me as both a person and a writer. My perspective, writing experience, and understanding of storytelling have evolved since 2008. However, this story remains a meaningful part of my journey, and I want to give it a new home where both returning readers and new audiences can experience it.
Please keep in mind that the English version may read differently from the original Tagalog publication because of the translation. Any editorial adjustments made for clarity, readability, or the flow of the English prose are intended to help the story connect with readers in its new language.
Allow me to share with you a love story where love arrives when you least expect it, people change in ways you never imagined, and life takes unexpected turns that can change everything.
To those who remember this story from its earlier days, thank you for being part of its journey. To those discovering it for the first time, welcome. I hope you will find something worth remembering in these pages.
