Death at the Altar

March,17

Today when I awoke, I swear I was the happiest woman alive. I was getting ready to marry Steven Vollorad, my man tall, blonde hair, green eyes, and says he loves me dearly.

When I got to the church waiting in the back room I was told by Larry, Stevens brother that Steven was going to hide while I walked down the aisle and have the preacher give me a note telling me where he was.

All I thought was 'seriously he is so cute playing jokes on our wedding day. I mean he knows I love his jokes.'

As I walk down the aisle, he is nowhere to be seen (as he planned =P). I get to the altar and dad hands me the note I smile a mile wide as I open it and begin to read it my smile disappears and tears begin to fall. Here's what the note said:

Hey, Liz

sorry and no offence but living the rest of my life with you...yeah that is just scary so by the time you read this I'll be on my way to an airport with Lisa so yeah bye.

WHAT?????? Lisa, his ex-girlfriend, how could he, just yesterday he said he couldn't wait to live the rest of his life with me now "I... I... I don't understand." I mutter helplessly. "What don't you understand little moon? What's wrong?" I hear mara whisper in my ear she is the only one who was close enough to hear me. I turn I throw my arms around her and cry, hard and fast, she just wraps her arms around me and whispers in my ear "it'll be okay little moon, come with me."

I follow her to her car, and she sits me in the passenger seat and says "I am taking you to my house and we are going to have a movie marathon, in our PJ's, eating ice cream. Got that?" I nod she is always there for me.
